Hi Eve and James, I just found you thru your reaction to one of Baby Metal! International rock bands fronted by women are bringing back real rock with a modern sound of their own, Band-Maid, Baby Metal and The Warning from Monterrey Mexico!
The Warning - 3 sisters who rock - 1 EP 2 albums 33 original songs all independently done thru Patreon and Kickstarter.
The band got recognition on a viral video in 2014 when they did a cover of Metallica's Sandman while they were uploading videos for their grandparents to see, ua-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/v-deo.html it went viral to the point that Kirk Hammett one of the founding members of Metalica tweeted "That drummer kicks maximum ass"!
2021 these young ladies are all under 21, each has mastered their instruments Alejandra - Bass, back vocals (Spector Artists at 13 she is now 16) Paulina - Drummer, vocals (Sabian Cymbals Artist) Dany Lead guitar, vocals, (RickToone Artist, Manson Guitar). Love them because of their work ethic and commitment to their music, they are changing and knocking down walls for women in Rock!
If I could ask you to react to Dust to Dust ua-cam.com/video/TeIbG8nkOiU/v-deo.html their opening song of their 2nd. Album Queen of the Murder Scene (Concept Album at this performance they are 18,16,13 respectably) a masterpiece, in my opinion, they are singer-songwriters who a young age write amazing lyrics!
They just recently signed with Lava /Republic Records. The only band from Mexico and the only Rock Band from Latin America to ever sign DIRECTLY with a major U.S. label Thanks so much! So they were in New York City in Dec. of 2019 at the Mercury lounge, 1st Show was sold out so quickly that they added a 2nd night which also sold out, Jason Flom legendary founder of Lava Records went to see them on the 2nd. nigh and offered them a recording contract and open up his finalized budget to allocate them into the label. Their 3rd. Album and the 1st of a 5 record deal for Lava is due out in a few weeks!
*The Warning* are amazing! How many young teens are sponsored by major equipment manufacturers? Ale, just turned 16, is prominently featured on Spector's webpage and they just hand-delivered a new 5-string. She and Dany have long been sponsored by Orange Amps, and Rick Toone personally came to give Dany her new Spearfish. Pau has been featured in Sabian's advertising.
This song was dedicated to the fans of which Babymetal referred to them as The One. As Babymetal perform all over the world, Su-Metal notice that the fans sang Babymetal songs in Japanese eventhough they don't understand Japanese. So this songs was composed specifically for the fans especially the non-Japanese speaking fans.
Great reaction - and you completely got what this song is. As they toured the world they noticed their foreign fans were clearly learning Japanese to sing along with them, so as a mark of their love and respect for the fans (also 'The One' of course) they challenged themselves to learn a song completely in English - this is that song and it is pretty much a love letter to the fans (this is the version from the Japanese edition of the second album, the international edition has the full English version).
In most live shows if they play 'The One' now they do the full English version more often than not, but they start with the 'unfinished' version - that is just Su and a piano - and the Kami Band only join in about half way through.
Good reaction you guys. They really go all out for their big Japanese shows for sure, the stages are just so incredible.
- There are a few different songs that Su sings in English. These songs include "The One", "From Dusk Til Dawn", and "Elevator Girl". "IN THE NAME OF" and "Future Metal" are all also in English, but those are more intros than they are actual songs.
- "The One" has as version that is 100% in English, this is the Japanese version. They almost exclusively perform the English version, even in Japan.
- They wanted to do a song in English because they were touched by the fact that so many English speaking fans learned the Japanese lyrics to their songs, so they wanted to do a song for them (I think).
- "The One" is the name of the collective BABYMETAL fanbase, you are part of The One!
- This was the studio version of the song with footage from the Yokohama show in 2015, so this isn't really live.
Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。One of numerous requirements to be BABYMETAL is having no fear of heights 😄 。Some people said this song was a little bit too repetitive. But in their live performance I felt as if the length of this song was only 30 seconds and wanted to listen to it forever. As Grington300 300 commented below there is a full English version with the first half part in unfinished style. If you do search in UA-cam with keywords "babymetal 2019 one Philadelphia" you will find a beautiful video uploaded by Eevee Martinez.

I love how you both have grown to become fans of Babymetal or part of “ The One”! Especially from the beginning your wife wasn’t into it but slowly seeing her become a fan of the them putting up the Fox sign! It’s fitting to realize and notice this during a reaction of this song! 🦊 🦊 🦊

This song, especially in comparison with the beautiful pictures, always leaves a big impression on me. It's a song for the fans, and watching the video, you can feel the love filling the whole arena. It makes me feel like "Aw, the world is not such a bad place after all", despite the crap going on everywhere. The music, the lyrics and the pictures fit together perfectly to create this perfect atmosphere.
When I heard the song for the first time, I also had this feeling of familiarity, although it's unlikely that I had heard it before. I like to believe that it fits the emotion of love and unity so perfectly, that in my mind it's the default soundtrack to this feeling.
At the Tokyo Dome show in 2016 they played this song after "Tales of the Destinies" (the two songs were originally meant to be a single on, but then split before release). There's a breathtaking "technical effect" involving the crowd they did during the transition that I'm not going to spoil, but if you ever get the chance to see the footage, please do! It was one of the most epic and touching moments I have ever seen (and I don't mean just BABYMETAL moments).
I remember the very first reaction still. She was all worried about it because she doesn't like Metal. Or Metal that is too harsh. It has been fun seeing you both go down this BABYMETAL fox hole. Still so much more to see.

insaw them in philadelphia and she did this song but the difference is she sang ever lyric in english. Su is really talented ! you definitely need to see them live. i'm actually considering flying to Japan to see them again .
This song is usually sung 100% in english, Elevator Girl is another song they sing in English as well.

This was performed in Yokohama Arena Day 2 in 2015. The One is their song in tribute to their fans. We, BABYMETAL fans are called "The One" as what you have learned in the guide. The song also has a full English version and also an Unfinished Version (accompanied by only a piano) and it was heartwarming af.
I see you haven't reacted to Rondo of Nightmare yet. If you would like to hear another different song from them, check out Rondo of Nightmare with Mischief of Gods Intro Live at Budokan Black Night. It was one of Su's solos that gives Yui and Moa a few minutes of break. This was probably their darkest song and if you want, you could check out the lyrics of the song later and you'll understand why the song sounds dark.

THE ONE performed live has some of the most amazing and meaningful "stunts" ever, like this flying pyramid, to bring the girls right between their fans, THE ONE indeed.
Wembley, Tokyo Dome and Baptism XX all have outstanding versions of this song, both visually and musically speaking.

Hi guys, this is the definitive song of any fandom could have, a song entirely dedicated for their fans and expressing how special we are for them. It's the final track of their Metal Resistance album and it ends with this beautiful warm and beautiful song.
SuMetal said in a interview recently that in a brainstorm meeting (sorta), before this live show, they were asked what they would like to do on next shows and they said they would like to fly, so yeah flying in the pyramid gondola was something they asked for. MoaMetal said that she loves this song and she hopes someday this song will be use for representing some Japanese big event (like the Olympics maybe) to unite everyone.
Glad you still on BabyMetal's road, the Fox Hole is big and nice, trust me. \m/

This is more a Ballad, also common in Heavy Metal.
I only kneel to Queen Su
