I had a feeling, that lovebites would be next 😉 Made the same journey with all the great bands almost 2 years ago. Lovebites now is my favourite band of all times. I‘m dying to see them live one day.
Welcome to the BEST heavy metal band in the world. These pint-sized ladies are god-tier musicians and don't give up their femininity while doing so. Miyako, the darkhaired lead guitarist is the main composer and is also god-tier on the piano. I would humbly suggest Swan Song with Chopin intro live at Zepp Divercity Tokyo to see her shred on the piano. But you can pick any song from them and not be disappointed. As you have no doubt found out, they are superb live. I also humbly welcome you to the Wolfpack.
Playing together and really loving it seems to be the case for all female Japanese bands. It's always smiles on stage while they play. It looks like it's the best there is. I absolutely love this and finding Japanese rock and metal has made me love music again!
congrats for finding this amazing band (for me the best band since a loooong time). you´ve just scratched the surface. stick with them, it´s totally worth it. their backcatalogue is about 60 songs and they are not able to write bad, stale or mediocre songs. live they are even better. I suggest their "holy war" live tokyo 2020 next. thanks you two for your appreciation and fine reaction.
It's actually the Halestorm song Love Bites (So Do I) that gives the band its name rather than the Def Leppard song. Lead singer Asami actually appeared onstage with Izzy Hale at a festival in the UK in 2019.A short clip here. ua-cam.com/video/PeSluP_whjI/v-deo.html
I discovered these talented ladies over a year ago. They formed in 2016. Members of the band are: Haruna - drums (2016-present) Midori - guitars, backing vocals (2016-present) Miyako - guitars, keyboards, backing vocals (2017-present) as a support musician (2016-2017) Asami - lead vocals (2016-present) Fami - bass guitar (2022-present) Fami just joined From their new album do Judgement Day next, but if you want a song on their new album that makes this seem slow than do Soldier Stands Solitarily. Lots of good live performances to get to after that.
LOVEBITES originally formed in 2016 mostly from failed bands. Midori, the blonde guitarist, was in a trio called Gekijo★METALicche. Miyako, the brunette guitarist, was in a group called A Drop of Joker. Miho, the original bass guitarist (she is not in this video), and Haruna, the drummer, were in a group called Destrose. All of these groups broke up right around the same time, and the four of them knew each other from playing at the same metal festivals in Japan. They got together but realized that they'd need a singer. Meanwhile, Asami was primarily a backup singer for a few pop rock groups and had a solo career that wasn't going anywhere. She wanted to try something new, so she released a demo of herself singing "Love Bites (So Do I)" by Halestorm. That demo found its way to Miho and Asami auditioned for the group. They decided to name themselves after the first song they all played together. Miyako was originally considered a support member since she was in another band called 21g (twenty-one grams) and was soon to start up a duo called Sonic Lover Reckless, though SLR ended almost as soon as it started. 21g lasted until 2019. The group continued on for years until the pandemic hit. In August of 2021, Miho left the band. The other four immediately went on hiatus. During that time, Miyako and Asami got married (not to each other) and each had child. Eventually the band held auditions and recruited 20 year old phenom Fami. This is the second video with Fami so far.
Thank you for following LOVEBITES. The mic stand setting that Miyako(G-Piano-Black hair) used was too high for Asami(Vo). Asami is very cute. Please keep up the good work LOVEBITES. 【From an interview with Asami(Vo) and Fami(Ba) for a magazine project in Japan】 When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience. Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell! P.S. I recommend listening to the album title track "LOVEBITES / Judgement Day [MUSIC VIDEO]". Asami(Vo) Miyako(G - Key and Piano Black hair) Midori(G) Haruna(Dr) Miho(Ba) First bassist Fami(Ba) New bassist Bassist from "Judgement Day" Basist of this song.
you’ve just discovered the metal queens and the rabbit hole is very deep, intriguing, face melting and jaw dropping so hope you guys continue to go down this rabbit hole, 🔥🤘🐺
Lovebites' songs vary but never lack energy. Some are power metal, some thrashier, and some are ballads. And with that killer twin lead guitar attack and the bubbly 4'9" Haruna killin' it on drums they are amazing. Lead singer Asami has a background in R&B and soul music singing as well as ballet. In 2018 they won Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band. Their original bassist and co-founding member Miho stepped away from the band in 2021. After a long worldwide search for a replacement bassist, they chose 20yr old Fami who fits right in with the rest of these talented ladies. They don't disappoint live too, wait until you check out some live videos.
wrong stop saying they are a power metal band, to prove to you and everyone else here is the most recent interview on J-Mellow, not one word of power metal is used to describe their style of music only heavy metal ua-cam.com/video/8U_O0E_Goqs/v-deo.html
Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing. In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ua-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/v-deo.html. "Stand and Deliver" is the second video they dropped from this album. The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. “Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, from the same concert; "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html; Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html; And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. Finally, the audio tracks of some of the new album are up on youtube, and worth checking out. The band clearly came out swinging and wanted to make a statement. Every song on the album is a showcase of their incredible talent and songwriting capabilities. “Stand and Deliver” is a thrasher with a fun video of them in the studio. “Soldier Stands Solitarily”, the final song on the album, is being touted by some as the best thing they’ve done so far-I encourage you to see and decide for yourself! You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
LMAO, if this doesn't make sense wait to you experience this band LiVE. All petite we women who wear their femininity proudly and proceed to melt your face off. The guitar duo a/k/a M&M as re polar opposites who blend perfectly like no other especially LIVE. Try Set the World on Fire, Break the Wall, or the masterpieces Swan Song with Chopin Etude intro or Frozen Serenade all LIVE to o experience what this band is about. Women dominated the J/Rock & Metal scene in Japan and you just saw the best band especially playing LIVE.Thevrest of the Wolfpack (fan base) will fill you in on more details. BTW great reaction and Haruna the 4' 9" drummer always smiles and beats that kit especially the double kick like it owes her money.
They are so talented and can play harder and faster than this. That's why they look enjoy and relax especially the drummer. They play various genres of metal. Check it out more 👍🤘
Welcome to Lovebites… you just found one of the best metal band on earth (in my opinion)… I really like the first reaction of Lovebites from the reactors… it makes me smile and wonder what they are thinking… I also would like to introduce you to another band called Asterism… a three piece metal band from Japan with incredible talents… I would like to recommend a song called Dawn live 2019…
A first reaction to Lovebites?? Welcome to the Wolfpack (even though I am late finding this)! Best metal band in the world right now. You've really got to check out some of the live performances kicking around UA-cam (I see you did already). They're even better live. Absolutely amazing. They are all world class talent in their roles. Haruna, the drummer, is a powerhouse at 4'9" - always with a smile, always drumming so efficently, with huge sound at an amazing pace for entire shows. Midori, the blond-haired guitarist, is a shredding machine. Miyako, the black-haired guitarist, is amazing with melodic solos but she can shred and also happens to be an astonishing classical pianist. Fami, the bassist, is new to the band, after the original bassist Miho left over a year ago now. She's a really skilled bassist and has a lot of stuff on her channel, although we do miss Miho for her writing. And then we have Asami on vocals. She used to be a ballerina (you can see evidence of this in live performances - especially Swan Song and Frozen Serenade), an R&B singer, and didn't know metal until she joined this band. I'd say she fit in no problem - love her vocals. Oh I should add that they are well versed in metal history and take many influences. They get their name from a Hailstorm song. On founding the band, they decided to only be positive as regards metal - not all black and angry etc. They write positive lyrics, wear all-white on stage, and melt you face off.
Japanese and other Asian are now taking over the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal music that are now dead in the West....the Asian added the Asian ingredients into the music and that is so awesome.... Guys, check also another TOP J-Rock/Metal Bands ASTERISM(female guitarist) - songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Church, Blaze, Mr. Beard will dropped his jaw watching them.... TRIDENT-JAPAN(all female) - songs Voltage, No Regret, Continue... BABYMETAL(all female) live Road To Resistance, Headbanger, Gimme Chocolate, Legend Of 1997...
They are called after the Halestorm song "Love Bites (And So Do I)". The reason they are so good is that they started playing the piano at ages 2 and 3 respectively, and guitar starting from 17 or 18 or so, and at this point in time, they've been playing guitar daily for about 15 years and about 10 years to earn their daily living. Also, they're just talented. Not everyone who plays metal has to be an angry dude... metal has been changing, be happy it has, because that means it will continue. It has become like jazz: open to anyone who is interested. The angry dudes are listening to rap these days. Also, in Japan, metal never was about rugged individualism or angry guy vs. society: it was always seen as a form of entertainment. Which it is.
The addition of Fami as Miho's replacement has caused a stir within the band. In a good way to be sure. The whole dynamic changed as soon as the Bass became a front piece. Miho was an excellent bassist and was one of the band's founders, with Haruna (the drummer); but Miho decided she wanted to move on. Note: I think Haruna could out stomp an Ostrich. She plays triplets with her feet for nearly an entire concert and now that she is miked, something I had never noticed before, she is singing backing vocals as well. And that's not easy! I would also suggest watching the title track from this album, "Judgment Day", Fami leads us off again, but you get to see them in their stage attire too. I'm looking forward to seeing a new concert video from them, but probably not until later this year.
That is exactly what they pass on to the new listeners, the total opposite of what is expected from the norm of metal bands. They do say and I quote "We are not here to be cute but to play heavy metal". Wait till you see them with their live outfits they are in complete contrast to the dark metal side and created a more white metal side and are considered the Queens of resurrection Metal. They are the real deal and don't mess around, each and every song they have put out has the same intensity and explosiveness as this one you just witnessed. 60+ songs and counting and all are freaking amazing, no fillers, no repeats, no boring songs. Love these ladies and will continue to do so forever, many have called me a fanatic and among other names but I don't care, I will defend their honor against anyone.
The stunned look when you find out that there are bands in Japan like Lovebites and Band Maid that are not only playing the type of music you crave, but doing so at absolutely ridiculous skill levels. There are at least another 20 Japanese bands right behind them. Most of them female. In school they have to pick a club to be in, I think in middle school. All the boys go play sports. The girls go for music, to everyone’s benefit.
Congrats. You have found metal perfection. Everything great about the best era of metal, modernized with elite/virtuoso level talent across the board. Multiple influences and multiple metal genres blended into Lovebites Metal. It's a rabbit hole well worth diving into.
Listen to their live performances, there are no bad tracks. "HOLY WAR" is a good place to start. My personal favorite is "scream for me" Lovebites doesn't limit themselves to one style of metal, also I think they are the best metal band I've ever heard. Hope to see them one day.
Thank you:) perfect 1st reaction, no interuptions to the music and your comments were fantastic. Lovebites and Bandmaid are my favourite bands, their virtuosity is amazing. And If you think Lovebites are happy just watch Bandmaid, both these bands fill me with joy every time I hear them. ...ps. I was raised listening to just classical music and am very new to this type of music, I am so glad I found these 2 bands on YT.
.....and if you think that is amazing wait until you see their live performances, knock you out of the park!! I have watched many bands live throughout the late 70s onwards this band is the holy grail of that era!!
Yes, Lovebites named after Halestorm song Love Bites. They cover Love Bites (So Do I) ua-cam.com/video/M-MD312vZ6M/v-deo.html. This song Stand and Deliver is original song. Every member writes their songs and they cover only two other songs. Painkiller by Judas Priest ua-cam.com/video/QQu9PQmmHKI/v-deo.html and Eagle Fly Free by Helloween ua-cam.com/video/To21HILZvYE/v-deo.html. The drummer Haruna is the happiest drummer ever. She is always smiling and singing without a microphone behind her kit.
In Japan there is an element of entertainment known as The Gap - between what you see and expect, versus what happens next. They use this, Band-Maid and others use this. And it would be dishonorable to do a half-arse job, so they are committed to hit it hard and be excellent. In Lovebites' case, they studied classic metal bands and then grew their own sounds. When a child in Japan responds to music, the parents usually make some training and instrument available in toddlerhood. Most often keyboard to start. But when they get to music school, they are told to develop proficiency on at least two instruments, if they haven't already. So they have been playing at least one or more instruments from 3 or even younger. That would mean almost 20 years as a musician for bassist Fami and around 30 years for the rest of the band. And constant improvement over all that time.
This is not a cover song, it's one of the amazing tracks from their new album, Judgement Day. The song is composed and arranged by the lead singer (Asami) and the brunette lead guitarist (Miyako) on stage left of this video. Lyrics by Asami. You should check out the new album, it's phenomenal !
And another two people are conquered. I’m 63 years old, have seen some of the best rock and metal acts since 1978. These ladies collectively are better than all of them. I flew to Japan a couple of weeks ago to see their “comeback” gig (I’m sure someone will explain)…from the U.K.. and I’m going again in September (unplanned, but the opportunity arose), to see them again. I’ll travel anywhere I can afford, any time to support them because they are a breath of fresh air and the best thing to happen to me in the last two years with the world turning to shit.
Now that you are fully introduced to Band Maid, Jinjer and Lovebites. I suggest you open your world up to Nemophila. They are a 5-piece Japanese all female "supergroup" metal band. Most of the reactors start with the music video of Dissension. Just like Lovebites, they don't have a bad song.

I believe the name Lovebites came from a nod to the Halestorm song? I stand to be corrected on that. These ladies never disappoint, even if it's just something as modest as Miyako throwing a live practice session out on Instagram.. every touch is an experience, and I think I can pretty much guarantee that you'll find something in everything they do. So much material to dig into, this being one of the exceptions to the continuity of their current archive - anything such as this, from the JUDGEMENT DAY album is with their new bass player Fami, where previously it was Miho (who decided to break and move onto new pastures, with everyone's blessing). This new album brings a re-energised Lovebites to the world, and that's saying something. Comparisons aren't really a fair thing for any band but it does happen for a sense of perspective, and they've garnered an impression of themselves blended with the likes of Helloween, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Metallica, Testament, Slayer. This was cemented I think when they did a cover of Priest's "Painkiller", which many self respecting metal fans will probably regard as one of the most significant metal songs in metal history, not to mention a challenge to cover successfully.
I discovered them around Thanksgiving and I have yet to hear one song by them I didn't like. I mostly watch the live videos but the stuff from the latest album has lots of good studio vids.
Lovebites is a very talented band. You mentioned the drummer being tiny. The entire band is tiny, the new bassist is the tallest, and she is under 5’4”, everyone else much shorter.
LOVEBITES have re-written the rules. You're right they don't match the preconceptions of how a metal band should look and act, and they had to struggle to buck the trend. But their non-conforming appearance is only one thing - the bottom line is they write and play 'king brilliant music. - Enjoy.
Yes, they are good looking, happy and playing heavy metal! They are themselves saying: "We are not here to be cute, we are here to be heavy!" I think they fail on not being cute. * The drummer Haruna is rumored to be nuclear powered. She is 4'9 BTW. * The two guitarists are just fenomenal. Midori is a shredder and a body builder. Miyako is just a genius. Miyako is writing their music. Her main instrument is piano. * The singer Asami has a very solid voice and good voice control. She can go up high without affecting the voice. She is 4'11 BTW. * The basist Fami is new. She is 20, and the rest of the girls are 30-ish. Lovebites had a big tryout for basists, and she got the job. She is scary good, not only for her age. This song is a bit different. It is more trashy. They are normally more speed or heavy metal. The girls are playing slow here :)
I love these ladies and up to this point everything they do. Not a fan of this songs lyrics. This is to 80's style where they repeat the same words over and over again like they needed a fill song to fill an album. I love the music just not the words to this one and only song.
Great that you two have now also found LOVEBITES. Sooner or later, all of us have felt the same way. And I can tell you: This joy and enthusiasm about new absolutely capable young musicians and especially female musicians will last for years. I am very happy to finally hear and see young first class rock stars again. I was fed up with the old 60-80 year old billionaire grandfathers who demand between 150 and 300 dollars per performance from the fans. I respect the old guys, and adore them, but they won't make any more money off me. I only support women bands that play handmade music. 80% of them are from Japan - they are all above average. It's pure joy, I tell you. Lovebites is my favorite band ever going back into the sixties when I started listening. And what I like about them is they can smile and have a good time as they melt in your goddamn face. They're just that bad ass. The band's here think they have to growl and snarl. But it's not that way. The only negative thing I have to say is I hated being called hair metal it was glam in the old days I could get you in trouble calling it's hair metal. That's okay to it saying
LOVEBITES make me HAPPY 😊 🐺🏴
Listening to Lovebites every single day. 🐺
Congratulations! You've just discovered the pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow. Lovebites are Forever 🐺
Ain't that the truth!

Incredible Goddesses of Metal 🐺🤘
Metal for the 21st century. Made in Japan, by superb female performers.
Stand and Deliver is an original song by Asami (the vocalist) and Miyako (the dark-haired guitarist). They have only done a few covers.
I had a feeling, that lovebites would be next 😉 Made the same journey with all the great bands almost 2 years ago. Lovebites now is my favourite band of all times. I‘m dying to see them live one day.
I picked up on them when their first video came out and by a stroke of luck seen them live in the UK touring with Dragon force!!
Me too hope they come to the States next year.
This group leaves me with a smile E V E R Y time. Love 'em
Welcome! Wolfpack Germany stays here for more 🐺🫶🏻🤘🏼
Welcome to the BEST heavy metal band in the world.
Swan Song with the Chopin intro, is the quintessential Lovebites treatment. I think it is one of their best of all time.
How about burden Of Time, so they can see her play guitar and keyboard at same time.
The Metal Goddesses are for real ! They formed in 2016 & have a cataloge of around 60 awesome songs ! ❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘 Try " A Frozen Serenade, " live.
Playing together and really loving it seems to be the case for all female Japanese bands. It's always smiles on stage while they play. It looks like it's the best there is. I absolutely love this and finding Japanese rock and metal has made me love music again!
”LOVEBITES”🤘❤️😆🤘
congrats for finding this amazing band (for me the best band since a loooong time). you´ve just scratched the surface. stick with them, it´s totally worth it. their backcatalogue is about 60 songs and they are not able to write bad, stale or mediocre songs. live they are even better.
Members of the band are:
Haruna - drums (2016-present)
Midori - guitars, backing vocals (2016-present)
Miyako - guitars, keyboards, backing vocals (2017-present) as a support musician (2016-2017)
Asami - lead vocals (2016-present)
Fami - bass guitar (2022-present)
Fami just joined
From their new album do Judgement Day next, but if you want a song on their new album that makes this seem slow than do Soldier Stands Solitarily.
Lots of good live performances to get to after that.
🤘🐺💖👸🤘🔥🔆 *LOVEBITES* 🔆
【From an interview with Asami(Vo) and Fami(Ba) for a magazine project in Japan】
When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience.
"Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!"
Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king.
P.S.
I recommend listening to the album title track "LOVEBITES / Judgement Day [MUSIC VIDEO]".

you’ve just discovered the metal queens and the rabbit hole is very deep, intriguing, face melting and jaw dropping so hope you guys continue to go down this rabbit hole, 🔥🤘🐺
Japan are where it’s at with rock music welcome to the fun house
Most musically talented hard music band in the world. They simply do not have a bad song in their catalogue.
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."
Here are more clips you should check out:
“Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”.
“Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, from the same concert;
"Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html;
Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html;
And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html
Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular:
"Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html
This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world
"When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
"Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html.
Wolfpack was already here.🐺🐺🐺
Wolfpack here!!🤘
LMAO, if this doesn't make sense wait to you experience this band LiVE.
Wolfpack is here for LOVEBITES! 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼
They are so talented and can play harder and faster than this. That's why they look enjoy and relax especially the drummer. They play various genres of metal. Check it out more 👍🤘
Wolfpack, is your turn ;) 🐺
Congratulations you have found the Goddesses of Metal! Now beginns your Journey of Lovebites Music 😊❤🔥🤘
Japanese and other Asian are now taking over the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal music that are now dead in the West....the Asian added the Asian ingredients into the music and that is so awesome....
Guys, check also another TOP J-Rock/Metal Bands
ASTERISM(female guitarist) - songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Church, Blaze, Mr.
Right on buddy this is exactly the way it needs to be expressed
Yes. Just want to add that they opened for Halestorm on the latter's tour of Japan in 2019, I think it was, and Lzzy Hale loved working with them.
I like to see first reactions to Lovebites. People are stunned when they first see/hear them.
Welcome to the Wolfpack 🤟🐺🤟🐺🤟🐺🤟🐺🤟🐺🤟❣
Congrats. You have found metal perfection. Everything great about the best era of metal, modernized with elite/virtuoso level talent across the board. Multiple influences and multiple metal genres blended into Lovebites Metal. It's a rabbit hole well worth diving into.
🔥LOVEBITES🐺PERFECTION🔥
welcome to the world of Lovebites the world of beautiful ballads, heavy, power, speed, thrash metal.
Major Deep Purple Guitar vibes!
Their new album is a blast...the other song that my fav is my orion..check it out,the 80's vibe all over it...
Listen to their live performances, there are no bad tracks. "HOLY WAR" is a good place to start. My personal favorite is "scream for me" Lovebites doesn't limit themselves to one style of metal, also I think they are the best metal band I've ever heard. Hope to see them one day.
They are impeccable, aren’t they?
Flawless perfection. Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷
She said the drummer, Haruna, is cute .... Yes!!! Haruna !! Haruna!!! She is the cutest drummer in the world!!!
Trust me, if Synister Gates motivates you to play guitar, then these ladies will motivate you to sell your guitar. 😂🤘
Truth!
Yooo Love🐺 all day fellas! Keep it coming!
Welcome to the world of Lovebites music. Welcome to the Wolfpack.
Thank you for the reaction. More Lovebites on the channel!
Lovebites is just amazing. Same happened to me couple of years ago. Welcome to the WolfPack!!!
Welcome to the Wolfpack. LOTS of Lovebites videos for you to watch now, ALL hits.

Metal isn't angry anymore.

🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
Welcome to the Wolvepack. One of the best musicians of this time. Greetings from Switzerland 🤘🏽
.....and if you think that is amazing wait until you see their live performances, knock you out of the park!!
She is also the cutest drummer ever! ☺
@@TheCyberMantis Hell, yes!!
They took the name from a song from Halestorm.
you ain't seen nothing yet..........I believe you will enjoy these ladies...they are friggin awesome
The band asked Lizzy Hale if they could use the name for their band and she said go ahead.
Molten metal ! 5 nuggets . 5 Beautiful and talented ladies
I’ll travel anywhere I can afford, any time to support them because they are a breath of fresh air and the best thing to happen to me in the last two years with the world turning to shit.
believers & 1 ear listeners
Now that you are fully introduced to Band Maid, Jinjer and Lovebites. I suggest you open your world up to Nemophila. They are a 5-piece Japanese all female "supergroup" metal band. Most of the reactors start with the music video of Dissension. Just like Lovebites, they don't have a bad song.
This song was mainly them goofing off and just having fun. Hence the smiles

Blonde guitarist Midori has named Synyster Gates as an influence, actually.
Fami Fami Fami!
While y’all are checking out the the other 40 videos of the gals, check out other bands, Hanabee, Unlucky Morpheus and Nemophila🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Lovebites is a very talented band. You mentioned the drummer being tiny. The entire band is tiny, the new bassist is the tallest, and she is under 5’4”, everyone else much shorter.
Miyako is 5'2, Midori 5'0, Asami 4'11 and Haruna 4'9.
I love Lovebites more than I love Babymetal, but I do love Babymetal covering Painkiller & Break8ng The Law with Rob Hanford.
LOVEBITES have re-written the rules. You're right they don't match the preconceptions of how a metal band should look and act, and they had to struggle to buck the trend. But their non-conforming appearance is only one thing - the bottom line is they write and play 'king brilliant music. - Enjoy.
Lovebites = brilliant!
Keep it going with the holy trinity lovebites, band-maid and nemophila. Japan has the best all female bands
Motorheaaaad 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
😁
Haruna's nickname (drummer) is "Little Big Engine".
That makes A TON of sense hahaha
@@inRopinion I forgot to mention that she is a whopping 4'10" LOL. Tallest in the band is 5'0", but they are all giants in my heart!
LOL you have no idea. This band has no Peer. You haven’t scratched the surface. If you think you’re shocked now, you’re in for a ride.

I love these ladies and up to this point everything they do. Not a fan of this songs lyrics. This is to 80's style where they repeat the same words over and over again like they needed a fill song to fill an album. I love the music just not the words to this one and only song.
Old one ?
New term, negerogetory?
I've been a big LOVEbites fan for 3 years and fans never get enough of it so : S u g g e s t i o n s for next reaction V i d e o s:

Lovebites is my favorite band ever going back into the sixties when I started listening. And what I like about them is they can smile and have a good time as they melt in your goddamn face. They're just that bad ass. The band's here think they have to growl and snarl. But it's not that way. The only negative thing I have to say is I hated being called hair metal it was glam in the old days I could get you in trouble calling it's hair metal. That's okay to it saying
TRULY AWESOME THANKS
This is thrash metal. Not punk rock.
There are a lot of rabbit holes in Japan. So, I said "Danger🚷" before. 😅 Anyway, Good luck for your journey! ✨🥰🤘
