I absolutely enjoy your videos, I love that you & Katie talk during the drive throughs.... makes them so much more interesting than the videos with absolutely no sound, and this video was beautiful... Hoover is a really pretty place.... I have seen about 7 of your videos today, love all of them, just hope you get a little more sunlight in some... lol.. and looking forward to watching a lot more.....
I like the town. It's well designed. the Streets, the trees, and the homes are aesthetically embedded in the topography. it looks like New Hampshire. The only drawback I see is that the city does not have enough sidewalks to encourage people to walk at least the first part of the video..
I enjoyed the video and have lived in Hoover for 5 years....only comment would be that you did not show any of the newer, higher end subdivisions- and there are MANY....Hoover has a very large first class, relatively new hi school and has great reputation, this high school is known nationally as having one of the best athletic programs in this country, great education reputation---also has a beautiful baseball stadium that plays host annually to the SEC baseball tournament with LSU, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and the rest of the conference teams..... I think you could have edited out stops at lights--sped up some drives and you could have shown the areas I am talking about-
Live in Illinois. Have some friends up here that are moving there. This looks real nice and I bet that $90.000 goes farther down there that what it would be where I live and other states. Taxes are lower and so it's cheaper there too! Thanks for the tour!
I grew up in a 60s neighborhood where middle class homes were on large lots like some of those you saw. That's kind of what people expected when they lived in the suburbs. Now they make the lots as small as possible to maximize profits.
ALARACIST - glad i left that state, sad i had to. got ran out for being hispanic. other than that not a bad place to become a racist bitter person. hoover is nice because its rich people.. they dont ENVY YOU..
Hoover’s great 👍🏻🥰‼️ I like the trails you can walk here. Used to walk one of them, until I hurt my Achilles. Haven’t walked much since. I like the fact that Publix is very close to me, and other stores are not far away either. And it is a great place to raise a family. You didn’t check out any of the really big houses. They’re beautiful!
It's cool seeing this, as I grew up in Birmingham and currently live on Lorna Road. Birmingham and Alabama in general doesn't get enough credit because it doesn't have one of those LA/Chicago/New York-type cities where people "go" when they want to make it in the world. I got a kick out of Ellis "Plano". It's been there for ages; my piano teacher did all of our recitals there, back around 2003. Edit by finishing video: Craziest thing about hoover is that this video doesn't even cover half of what's considered the city limits (not a complaint, by the way. Loved the video). Many of us Birmingham Natives joke about how "are we in hoover" because essentially anywhere south of Vestavia Hills you will see Hoover Police.
I just wanted to say I appreciate your videos but I really think you need to drive the whole Shades Crest Road you missed the best part of the drive it's all mountains and beautiful beautiful views anyway whenever you have time if you Drive Shades Crest Road you would love it just a suggestion
PRATTVILLE, HOOVER, CALERA, AUBURN.. MADISON.. Like.. I know Orlando got into the 20s a few weeks ago.. dang that's about what we get here.. 🤷♂️ there's more work over here. cheaper housing. But the FOOD over here aint latin.. thats one HUGE downside. However, in BHAM you are closer to a few latin places like hectors kitchen or CUBAN CAFE in Madison. Madison has a few latin places. Dont expect latin food out here is what I am saying. just a FEW places and they aint all that.
You should consider your pause at a red light as an opportunity to bless each car, and passengers with agape, the power of your intention is off the charts manifesting power. If everyone sent out loving-kindness to the other people they traveled with, fewer accidents, fewer traffic meltdowns. Appreciate the three minutes, God will honor your effort.
