I agree sigs reliability out the box isnt great for most their firearms, but once u find a good one they last a good while, sig also has the best customer support of any other gun company, without hesitation they will send you a new firearm and thats just so impressive and outgoing to me, lifetime warranty on a firearm is enough to make me pay that extra premium

Funny....I just came back from the range to break in my P365 fuse. I was skeptical based on some videos showing the failures others have been having. I shot at least 450 rounds, I used all 3 mags and had ZERO failures from the first shot fired to the last. I shot mostly 115gr FMJ, but also shot about 1 box each of 124 JHP, and 147 JHP. This is one of 2 guns that I own that had ZERO failures during break-in. The other gun was my SA Echelon.
That's very lucky I would say. Even by Sigs own admission you can expect a few in the break in. I was not as lucky with 2 different Fuses I tried. Both had tons of FTF like the video showed.
876rds 124gr. Only “issue” has been one light primer strike. Loaded it back in the mag and it fired. Super reliable for me. Using the 17rd and 21rd mags as well.
I just received mine back from Sig yesterday and the paperwork in the case stated they replaced extractor incertand detailed the feed-way, test fired and function tested so we shale see this weekend at the range..
I have a P365 never once had a failure of any kind. I've owned it for over 4 years. I've only put about 2,500 rounds through it but it was all kinds of ammo types over the years. Six different brands of cheap and expensive brass cased ball ammo. Three different brands of steel cased ball ammo. Seven different brands of nickel and brass cased JHP. I even shot a box of Syntech ammo. No issues at all even when I would clean it every other time I went shooting. SIG does seem to have some quality control issues though.
@@Styxx2018 thanks man, we did get it to function 95% of the time with the 17 round magazines. Still no luck with the 21 rounders. But it did take us over 250 rounds before it would start cycling reliably with the 17 rounders.
I bought the 365 XMacro like 2 days before they released the Fuse and got pretty mad but seeing this I feel better. My Macro has been flawless so far. Not a single malfunction in the first 300 rounds.
Same here I had a lot of high hopes for this gun. I’m hoping mine is just an isolated incident or maybe a batch of barrels that just aren’t up to standard. We saw a few others having issues however we have also been given reports from others that have had no issues.
A good rule when purchasing Sigs is let the first batch get out and give Sig time to fix the problems. In a few months they should be working fine. It’s just the bad business model of sig.

When you send the gun to sig to "fix" it literally all they do is polish the feed ramp on the barrel and that's it. They don't replace anything just a light polish. Break in the damn gun before crying
I had 3 with the 17 round mags. I dropped my support thumb lower. That seemed to fix the issue. However it was towards the end of the day. No issues with the 21 round mags. Going back out this weekend to shoot another 250.
This is very helpful information I'm considering this sig sauer p365 fuse but now I'm like maybe not. All my Glocks have been 100 % reliable and Glocks customer service was great.
It’s fine. He needs to send that one to Sig. all guns have factory issues. Sig gets it back in like a week. Like 1% of production Sigs faced this, the fix was a quick polish or a spring.
So, I found out something that might be a fix for this but due to how new the fuse is, I’m not too sure. The spring rod for the slide is plastic vs what we are used to on macros, metal. I own both a macro and a fuse and I’ve switched the slides around as they are compatible and have had zero malfunctions since I interchanged them. The problem with this is that because of how new the fuse is, we don’t have access to replacement rods unless they are custom made but the plastic is just not meant for that much real estate of slide
Thanks for checking out the video. It’s most likely a feed ramp issue and we have seen a few other videos of people having the same exact issue. Hopefully we can get it addressed by Sig.
Decided on the G48 MOS instead of the P365 XMacro. This validated my purchase. And I really wanted the XMacro initially until I saw that Sig’s military discount program doesn’t include the XMacro specifically unlike the G48 MOS which is discounted under the Blue Label program.
They got the military contract and wont even discount their guns for military. That is pathetic. They only got the contract because of the ammo anyways. The 320 is garbage.
My friend's fuse had a similar issue. It was a relatively simple fix that required a couple swipes with a file on a little bit of metal opposite of the extractor on the slide
I've been been seeing a lot of FTF issues on several new pistols lately. In this case gotta wonder if the polymer grip module allows slight over-insertion of 21 round mags since it didn't happen with the presumably aluminum Icarus grip module. Also wondering if the feed ramp on the new 4.3 inch barrel has a non-optimal finish.
I received mine a couple weeks ago and honestly I haven’t had one single issue with it. Shoots super smooth, I will say the springs in the mags are very tight but I haven’t had one FTF at all. I’ve shot a little over 1k rounds through it and now the mags are more easier to load but honestly its an amazing firearm imo.

It’s sad when they just got billions in tax payer GI contract money, and now they’re getting cheap on QC just because they wanna put a new gun on the market. You better get 90,000+ rounds out of the same gun and the same barrel with no hiccups before you mass produce it and sell it to someone and expect them to trust their life with it. Unless you truly don’t give two shits about that person. Personally I’m pretty pissed off about the way Sig handled it and I’m extremely disappointed in the company as a whole. I’ve never had any problems with any of my Sigs including 320’s but this has definitely put a bad taste in my mouth for where the company is at today as far as civilian customer satisfaction goes. This is the second time I’ve had issues with one of my Sig products. I honestly have about 15 other guns and I’ve only had issues with two of them, but the first one I had issues with, they pretty much told me to go pound sand.

I have seen multiple videos with the same exact problem. Its a complete shame. Im betting its a barrel ramp problem. I do not understand how they can make every other P365 run flawlessly, but these new full size ones are sll having issues.
I would assume that it is the new barrel geometry. . . Feed ramp angle perhaps. New overall length changing the tilt axis maybe or something along those lines. Definitely shouldn't be the consumer who has to find this out in my opinion.
I think you are exactly correct. From our full video of testing this set up it was only when using this new barrel and slide. I’m hoping that is the case and maybe there’s just a bad batch of barrels that went out for the initial launch.
They actually reached out about holsters. We told them about our issues and showed them this video and they are having us send the gun back to them as they are aware of some slides with these issues. Check out the full video when you have time.
It's a well known fact that Sig uses their customer base as beta testers. Sig is great to learn better weapon manipulation and malfunction clearing for when your actual carry gun (probably not a Sig) has issues.
Thumb looks to riding the fuse slide unless there's a gas pedal there. That'll cause issues. But you've also chosen to be a sig beta tester like I did with my 365 axg legion. But it's been flawless
0 issues out of mine with 17 and both 21 round mags ……so far I’ve Only used 124gr hollow points and I’m just a few hounded rounds in. Defense ammo ain’t cheap but I like to train with what I carry
Had the same issue with 2 new fuses. It's depressing realizing that it may not be just a break in period. Luckily they were not my firearms but makes me realize I probably wont be buying any new sig.
Could be the feed tray on the gun. They’re not as wide and catch up in a lot of hollow points. If you don’t have round tip ammo they catch a lot sadly.
A guy that worked for sig said the higher ups of the company dont care about preformance or quality they just push them as much as possible. I was wanting a couple different sigs but ill pass.

For 700$ this should not be happening. I toured a sig facility for a job opportunity once. When they told me the starting rate, my jaw almost fell off. The facility was beautiful but I could tell they pay their employees shit. Not a fan of sig. I’m rooting for the underdogs.
Why not buy both? This is one gun. Most of them are going to be just fine and the ones that aren’t will get fixed. It will literally be fine in a couple months. If that.
Better take a look at the ejector, that’s what my fn reflex was doing I had to grind it down to accept the round. Now it works flawlessly I just put 1000 rounds through not one issue.
Sig is putting on a master class on how to move backwards. I think getting that contract has caused them to put to much attention into the wrong things. They should just stop with the civilian releases and work on military product.
Certain models of some manufacturers models may be sensitive to certain loads, what loads were you using? Or just a one off issue with that particular gun? Slam ramming the slide during a tactical situation is advised to survive, but doing that on a range situation can exacerbate an alignment issue. Did you contact manufacturer-what is the reply? P365 has been reliable for so many people. Get that one P365 replaced or fixed.
Check out the full video. Sig just sent us the gun back citing a feed ramp polishing issue and stating that due to the thin nature of the gun it will get hotter than most guns.

Hmmm, no heat issue there, and yeah the ramp polishing does sound like mfg missed that in their Qual Control. Good to know. Sig is making innovative forward-thinking products... I commend them for it... I was a sig fan with the p series 226 and 229.. sig is losing credibility with me. Seems they rush products to market and use us as R&D in the process. Guns can have growing pains at the beginning, but sig is dropping the ball, putting the consumer second.
This is complete bs! I've never had a Sig jam on me in over 23 years of owning Sigs 😂 NEVER! Even after firing weapons that haven't been cleaned in a while 😂 Either your gun is dirty, or you have a faulty mag spring 💀

I just bought a Fuse, I need to pick it up at the store later on and I will probably dump like 600 rounds. I will let you know how it goes. Maybe there has been a decline in their QC department????
Many times when running new pmm comps the oem recoil springs won't cycle at all but dpm solves most of these issues, just curious is it's a tuning issue
Good to hear it. We’ve seen a few with the same exact issues. Was able to get in touch with Sig about it. They stated there are others with the issue and it’s on an isolated batch that went out. The gun is going to go back to Sig for them to take a look at.
Most of the videos I've seen where the gun ran smooth or almost perfect were by bigger youtube channels which i'm assuming had the guns sent to them for free and had already been broken in for marketing purposes.

I carry used HK so I don’t have to worry about this .
Running several X-Macro variants mostly with True Precision barrels. No problems.

I just polished a little but the rampa and the área next to the extractor and it fixed the problem for me

I had a few failures to feed with the 21 round mags. They went away after the first 10 rounds I put thru them and haven't had any since.

Had issues with mine on the first trip to the range. Installed an optic and had only 2 FTF out of 200.
My 365 x macro's 2 original mags are both fried after only a year of light use. Same issue with locking back almost every shot.
Sig magazines in some pistols leave a lot to be desired in my experience. ex.

Was the a specific ammo used across all FTFs or was it various ammunition types?

0 issues out of mine with 17 and both 21 round mags ……so far I’ve Only used 124gr hollow points and I’m just a few hounded rounds in. Defense ammo ain’t cheap but I like to train with what I carry

Had the same issue with 2 new fuses. It's depressing realizing that it may not be just a break in period. Luckily they were not my firearms but makes me realize I probably wont be buying any new sig.
I got my fuse 3 days ago. 100 rds straight out the box no issues. No lube no cleaning.

Could be the feed tray on the gun. They’re not as wide and catch up in a lot of hollow points. If you don’t have round tip ammo they catch a lot sadly.

Break in period is a reasonable manufacturing standard.
Check out the full video, we shot 750 rounds and it still kept malfunctioning.

For 700$ this should not be happening. I toured a sig facility for a job opportunity once. When they told me the starting rate, my jaw almost fell off. The facility was beautiful but I could tell they pay their employees shit. Not a fan of sig. I’m rooting for the underdogs.

Plenty of video tubers sending these back to sig for polishing feed ramps and sent back. Then run flawlessly.

I had a bad recoil spring that caused a similar issue.
Better take a look at the ejector, that’s what my fn reflex was doing I had to grind it down to accept the round. Now it works flawlessly I just put 1000 rounds through not one issue.
Did you oil it before? That’s happens w new guns unless you oil them

Sig is putting on a master class on how to move backwards. I think getting that contract has caused them to put to much attention into the wrong things. They should just stop with the civilian releases and work on military product.

Feed ramp needs a little polish to help it out... But WTH this isn't a 1911.
Certain models of some manufacturers models may be sensitive to certain loads, what loads were you using? Or just a one off issue with that particular gun? Slam ramming the slide during a tactical situation is advised to survive, but doing that on a range situation can exacerbate an alignment issue. Did you contact manufacturer-what is the reply? P365 has been reliable for so many people. Get that one P365 replaced or fixed.
Check out the full video. Sig just sent us the gun back citing a feed ramp polishing issue and stating that due to the thin nature of the gun it will get hotter than most guns.

Hmmm, no heat issue there, and yeah the ramp polishing does sound like mfg missed that in their Qual Control. Good to know. I guess main point is, Sig needs this feedback, and 'should' use that to improve QC. Keep safe.

Sig is making innovative forward-thinking products... I commend them for it... I was a sig fan with the p series 226 and 229.. sig is losing credibility with me. Seems they rush products to market and use us as R&D in the process. Guns can have growing pains at the beginning, but sig is dropping the ball, putting the consumer second.

@whynotwes I've owned every Sig out there except for any Legion versions. Never had a Sig jam on me, so this is weird. I just bought a Fuse, I need to pick it up at the store later on and I will probably dump like 600 rounds. I will let you know how it goes. Maybe there has been a decline in their QC department????

That’s strange…… I’ve ran over 2300 rounds through mine in 3 weeks with absolutely ZERO failures.
Many times when running new pmm comps the oem recoil springs won't cycle at all but dpm solves most of these issues, just curious is it's a tuning issue
Maybe you just have a bad pistol…. Seen many others without these issues.
Good to hear it. We’ve seen a few with the same exact issues. Was able to get in touch with Sig about it. They stated there are others with the issue and it’s on an isolated batch that went out. The gun is going to go back to Sig for them to take a look at.

This is the fourth (at least) UA-camr i've seen with a defective Fuse. That's bad bad.
I just shot my Fuse for the first time this morning. Shot over 450rounds and had ZERO failures.
Most of the videos I've seen where the gun ran smooth or almost perfect were by bigger youtube channels which i'm assuming had the guns sent to them for free and had already been broken in for marketing purposes.
