@@Tawroset What worries me is that the authorities performed several psychological tests on her and she apparantly did not to show any signs of psychopathy.
Nobody really seems to know what really happened to poor Caley but somehow it really horrifies me that Casey was seemingly able to fool all of these tests, while the video material from her interrogations and the statements from her parents clearly depict her as a pathological liar and a pretty advanced one at that.
I have a (short lived) history in psychology myself and Casey shows some pretty clear signs of sociopathy in these interviews in my opinion. It's like as if her emotions are contained in a bubble if they're at all present. Also the utter lack of emotion (or remorse?), especially towards Caley's death and her attitude in the interviews following her acquittal show some pretty solid signs of psychopathy if you ask me..
      Really disturbing... all of this..

So very true this legal concept is misunderstood by most.
Not guilty and innocent are too very different standards.
NG means more of there wasn't enough probable cause to convict , but doesn't mean innocent.
Innocent would be a case perhaps you were out of the country , and your dna didn't match either, nor description so forth, no possibility it could have been you at all.
IMO the prosecutors jumped the gun too fast without enough evidence, thereby allowing her defense to create reasonable doubt, all thats needed for a ng.
I feel she was involved in some way, what it was I am unsure, but she wasn't innocent.
My mom and I argue this as I have told her by what they showed at trial only, not what the media said as that MUST be removed from a jurors decision, I could not find her guilty either, yet not innocent. My mom, that tends to lean on wjat the media says, says that's stupid and wrong.
I however would desire a fair trial just the same, not a media tried case in the actual courtroom. We can't have both, and must rely on a jury to go by facts presented in court alone, not wjat Nancy Grace believed.
So I feel she was ng due to lack of evidence, but not innocent she knows what happened, but won't ever say.

@Lance Anthony i felt for jer dad thrown under the bus like that. Then again she didn't get to act the way she did without parents that at the bare minimum allowed lying to be acceptable, and even helped her lie at times. I thought that her official story was that Caylee accidentally drowned in a swimming pool, and Casey was a party to illegally covering it up, but didn't in any way deliberately cause. So according to Casey's defense lawyer's version of events, there's no need to investigate Caylee's death, it was just a tragic accident. And the jury bought it, or at least weren't willing to convict Casey on the slender physical evidence available.

Well I was born here, raised here, and live here in Florida. From my experiences with all the diverse cultures coming here and out of the state it leads to a bit of isolation. You can live next door for 20 yrs and nobody knows you. A lot of wariness going on and people definitely tend to have a lack of trust. It's the way we have to be in order to stay safe and self persevere here. So many different reasons to clash personalities here, that often lead to "trouble". I for one avoid trouble as much as I can. I already have had my share. (Kinapped, robbed 3 times, and my husband was victim to a pedestrian vs motor vehicle accident.)

I studied this case in college & the Prosecution didn't win this case bc he overcharged her with the Death Penalty w/no body only some of Caylees teeth, hair & some bones therefore no cod so the burden of reasonable doubt wasn't met,,, but that doesn't mean that she was innocent.
