The Philippines was a colony of Spain for 300 years so there are Spanish Architecture in many places. Yes, that’s in the Philippines. Sharks are not too common but of course there are still some since it’s the sea. There are also fresh water lakes and rivers to go to if you’re worried about sharks. Besides, the locals would tell you where to surf safer to avoid them. Enjoy the islands. Especially nowadays, Americans are so welcome. Your tourist visas can be extended up to 3 years. There is even a Retirement visa which allows you to stay till really old age.The underground river is in the island of Palawan. There are so much to see and do that serious tourists tend to stay in the Philippines for months and even a couple of years for some. Yes, that is fun and you should try it. Hiking and Mountain trekking can be done in the more hilly and mountainous areas as well. Massages are not expensive, but you gotta be there for massage only. Dumaguete is less expensive as is many places in the Philippines. There are more expensive ones especially in the more posh neighborhoods. Well the Philippines has been declared as a center of Biodiversity. ATV’s can be rented in some places like Mayon volcano, in the province of Bicol, or Zip lining in many other mountains. Many islands like Bohol, you can rent a scooter or larger motorcycles where you can self drive. The Whale Sharks are gentle non aggressive giants that you can snorkel beside them and is something many tourist don’t want to miss. The Philippines is located in the tropics, yet also have cooler climates in the higher elevations. The country is also at the edge of Asia, yet is a mixture of the West (from 350 years of colonization and was also once a territory of the U.S.)and the East from Asian migrants. The Filipinos are a heavily mixed race from centuries of racial intermarriages and as I have commented before, there is no “typical Filipino looking person”. A Filipino may range from African American looking up to Chinese, Malay, Indian, Arabic, up to a very Caucasian looking one. For many Americans who wish to visit a relative lost during WW2, there is the Manila American Cemetery, where 17,000 American service Men and Women are buried and which is the biggest one outside the U.S. In fact recently, in the local news, a member of the Tabernacle Choir, found the grave of his great uncle. My point is, there are much much more that a tourist can do that the video did not get to show other stuff. An example of which is a visit to the island of Mavulis in the Batanes Province, where, since it is just about 70 miles or so from Taiwan, that on a clear day, you can see Taiwan. Lastly, if you prefer to go to places that have a Manhattan vibe to it, there is BGC or even Makati City.
Every island here in the Philippines is unique just the way they are. One of the reactor that reacting to Philippines he is already practicing his Tagalog by watching tagalog tutorial. Hahaha... And, it's even we are in the Philippines we didn't explore yet a lot of Islands because of financial budget coz The islands are not easy to access without money. Philippines is no doubt, it is beautiful but tbh only if you can travel and have more than enough money to spend to. Even us the local don't have that courage to travel around the Philippines because of lack of money and time. For us just like you guys we only appreciate Philippines in videos like that 😂🤣 but you guys are always welcome to visit my country (the Philippines) and enjoy life. ❤❤❤
May kasabihan to be a tourist in your own country but first in Your own town , own province. Despite all the problems in the Philippines, Filipinos are still more blessed than nang other people. The Philippines is still more peaceful , has more freedom and families still can be together; Filipinos abroad can come home to see their loved ones. So let us be grateful for what we have

The Philippines is a diverse country, every island has its own distinct features and local language, but the culture of the people and of being friendly, accommodating and hospitable are inscripts in their culture. Traveling to the country will take so much time, fun and effort to reach those places, but its worth and the country is safe for travelers.MABUHAY and welcome to the most travel destination in Asia!💕🎉
This was my favorite tourism ads of my country Philippines .so much to offer that u can't get over it.. every island was absolutely amazing. Simple life but happy people in every circumstances we faced . I'm so proud to be a Filipino .You guys are very much welcome in the Philippines ❤
I am so excited for you guys. Tomorrow is our flight to Philippines and we will do hiking in Mt apo and Mt pinatubo. Last year we went to Cebu and we really enjoyed canyoneering, experienced swimming with giant whale shark and amazing falls. In 2022 we went to Palawan (2nd time) breath taking and this time we checked in at Paolyn's houseboat meaning your hotel (houseboat) is in the middle of the lagoon, and you will wake up and eat breakfast seeing a beautiful scenery, very great experienced. The scenery under the water in Palawan is crazy , it is a like a kingdom , everything underneath it so colorful and healthy, so majestic.
There are so much to see in THE Philippines because every ISLaND is Totally different from one another. Of course Filipino Culture is always welcoming and hospitable. There’s never a time to be bored and foreigners are always coming to explore some more🫣🙏
This videos representation of our 82 provinces here in the Philippines. All provinces have tourist attraction like beaches, mountains, Hills, rivers, lagoons and others that so amazing. And i'm completed to travelled all the Provinces last year, 11-11-23.
wow! congrats for having travelled all the islands. That's my dream but even if I'm living in the Philippines,it would still be expensive to do the same as you did.
What expats who ended up staying for good in the Philippines do, is travel to other countries from time to time, but spend most of their time in the Philippines, making it their home country. Aside from the great places, most foreigners say that our food here taste better, compared to those in the US that are mostly bland. Thank you for this RV!
❤🇵🇭 Note: This comment is a long comment, so I hope that you'll please kindly have patience and be patient if you want to read this, but I also did my best to include my personal and individual ideas, knowledge, information, views, and opinions that I know, understand, read, listened, viewed or watched, learned and gathered through the years in this comment to hopefully help, inform, and/or educate you a little bit or a little bit more about the video you reacted, about the Philippines in general, and specifically about its islands and islets. Ready? Then, here we go! The names on the top left corner of the video or compilation video you reacted are some of the administrative regions (most of them), islands (e.g. Boracay), provinces or island provinces (e.g. Palawan), cities (e.g. Zamboanga/Zamboanga City), and/or island groups, island chains, group of islands or smaller archipelagos (e.g. Palawan, Siargao) in or within the Philippines and the Philippine archipelago or Philippine islands. On the other hand, the names shown at the end of each video or video clip in or within the video or compilation video are the names of the landlocked provinces, coastal provinces, and islands and/or island provinces that comprise the administrative regions of the Philippines that are included in the video or compilation video you reacted. Few of the names of the administrative regions of the Philippines are acronyms comprising of the component provinces, islands, and/or also highly urbanized independent cities that comprise these administrative regions. (e.g. Calabarzon/CALABARZON = coastal Province of Cavite, landlocked Province of Laguna, coastal Province of Batangas, landlocked Province of Rizal, and coastal Province of Quezon; Mimaropa/MIMAROPA = island or island group of Mindoro, which is made up of two coastal and island provinces of Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro, and the island Provinces of Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan; Soccsksargen/SOCCSKSARGEN = The landlocked Provinces of South Cotabato and Cotabato [formerly and aka North Cotabato], the coastal provinces of Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani, and the highly urbanized and independent City of General Santos) All of these names are not and are not all of the names of the islands of the Philippines, because most of the rest of the islands and islets, etc. of the Philippines are unnamed or yet unnamed, are uninhabited or are not permanently inhabited, are protected islands and islets or within protected areas, and are already part, integrated, or included together with the provinces and highly urbanized independent cities of the Philippines, which can be coastal ones that are part of a larger island, or can be island or archipelagic ones made up of a few to a lot of islands and islets, etc., and they, these islands and also the other islands and landlocked, coastal, and island provinces and highly urbanized independent cities within or are parts of an island, are usually named after the largest or the most significant or important island of the area/place/location or of the the island group/island chain/group of island/smaller archipelago, named after another geographic feature (like a landform or a body of water) of, near/close, neighboring, surrounding, adjacent to, or in/within that area/place/location, named after a person or a group of people like a native ethnicity/ethnic group/ethnolinguistic group of the Philippines, usually from someone that has a relation, connection, importance, significance, or value in or from the area/place/location, or are named after something else, and all with or without an additional part of its name that is from the location of the province or highly urbanized independent city in the area/place/location or island/island group/island chain/group of island/smaller archipelago based on the cardinal directions (e.g. Northern/del Norte, Southern/del Sur, Western/Occidental, and Eastern/Oriental). Some islands are large enough to have two or more provinces and/or highly urbanized independent cities, or are large enough to even have larger administrative and/or autonomous regions within them that each have provinces and/or highly urbanized independent cities that comprise them, and these larger islands are large enough and are comparable to the sizes of the smallest states or the largest counties and other county equivalents in the US in terms of their land areas. So, I don't think that one can technically go, visit and/or set foot on all of the 7,641 islands of the Philippines, because some islands are already large enough to be explored just in a short amount of time, some islands are distant or far from other islands or from other island groups/island chains/groups of islands/smaller archipelagos and/or are difficult or challenging to go and travel by air or sea, and most islands are small and uninhabited or are not permanently inhabited, and/or are also protected islands or within protected areas of the Philippines, and are protected by the Philippine national and/or local government and/or also are internationally protected for various reasons. Also, I am not telling these following things below to give you fear and the feelings of being unsecured, unsafe, or whatnot else and the like here in the Philippines, but some of these smaller, uninhabited and/or not permanently inhabited islands and islets are dangerous and/or can cause harm, ranging from being quite dangerous and/or harmful to really dangerous and/or harmful, because they're either unexplored, yet unexplored, unexplored enough, or not thoroughly explored, they are filled with wildlife and even with wildlife that are not, yet to be, not yet, or not thoroughly explored and studied, they are distant or far away from major regional, provincial, city or municipal/town centers or downtown areas and from other populated and/or permanently inhabited areas/places/locations where there are more people or Filipinos, and where they're nearer or closer to hospitals and police, coast guard and military stations, offices, headquarters, or camps, etc., which have people, professionals and/or personnel that can easily go and help, rescue, carry, and/or save when one is in need of their help, rescue, guidance, assistance, and/or services during any emergency or emergency situation, and/or some of these smaller, uninhabited and/or not permanently inhabited islands and islets are seldomly to permanently inhabited by some rebel or terrorist groups or by rebel or terrorist group members (as well as in some hilly, mountainous, and/or also forested areas/places/locations in larger islands), by some modern pirates, or by some other few people that we don't know about and are not sure if they'll either do and cause more good, help, guidance, and/or assistance or more bad, harm, and danger, and also for some of these smaller, uninhabited and/or not permanently inhabited islands and islets, one should or must need the help, guidance, assistance and even the permission from the national and/or local government of the Philippines, and/or also from the police, coast guard, and/or the military of the Philippines just to go in some of these distant or far, smaller, and uninhabited and/or not permanently inhabited islands and islets. Don't worry about long uncontacted tribes or other groups of people or ethnicities/ethnic groups/ethnolinguistic groups in these smaller islands and islets that might or could do harm or be dangerous, or that one might do harm to them and/or put them in danger, and that never have any contact with the other people outside of their specific areas/places/locations, because we don't have them here. So, again, I don't think that one can technically go, visit and/or set foot on all of the 7,641 islands of the Philippines and complete all of them. 🙏🏼 Thank you for your patience, if you reached the end of this comment! ❤
@@TripTipsPodcast by the way, before you go to the Philippines and planning to build a house and stay there, you guys have to research a legal documents required owning land. I was born in the Philippines by the way.

Water rafting in Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao. Also the Dole Philippines is located in Mindanao and it’s in my hometown. But they didn’t include in this video the 7 Falls in lake sebu and asik-asik falls in North Cotabato.
If you go to Philippines, try to visit the caves too at the northern part, there's a guide to help you, it's very amazing to visit all the places in the Philippines.
No country can beat Philippines. Yes, there are so many others that offer so much, but Philippines with our people makes it the best in the world. I am an American citizen, but I will always be a Filipino. Always be a Cebuano
You have every reason to be excited in going to my dear country the Philippines. The Filipino people is ready to welcome you with open arms and their big smiles. Enjoy our beautiful Philippines !
Wow!.. I've been waiting for this for a long time..as soon as I got the notification I jumped right into it.. I'm so excited to see your reaction to different beautiful places in our country.. I'm so happy you finally did this.. and yes, there's no reports of shark attack in the Philippines.. I'm so sure you will enjoy your stay.. but I'm also sad that you cannot buy a land there..and the "can I marry more than one?" is so funny..😂 loved your reaction guys!.. keep it up..❤
Aside from these beautiful places in the Philippines is the hospitality of the people living here, Filipinos are respectful and fun people. Its easy to get along with the locals because most people understand and speak English, Its our 2nd language.
I was born in Cebu Philippines, but grew up here in the states. I visited for a summer vacation, but that ended up to staying over a year instead. Philippines definitely gives you that feeling where you never want to leave or keeps you wanting to come back over and over again. ❤🇵🇭
PH is located in Coral Triangle, the global center of marine biodiversity. In 2006, a team of Marine conservationists declared Verde Island Passage as the Center of the Center of Marine Shorefish diversity, Verde Island is in PH. In diving world, go to PH for-out-of-this-world marine life experience.
Such a fascinating country. You will definitely wake up in a post card everyday when you go to these Islands. Stay in the islands than in the cities. Thank you so much for this reaction. Definitely no sharks.
Palawan is so nice some lagoons are mix of ocean and fresh water so beautiful and so untouched God has been so good He took his time when He made the Philippine island
Glad you were able to react to this video. It showcases the diverse attractions our country has to offer. Every region has its own staple, you can't just pick one. I myself have not explored the entirety of my country and wish I could do so in the future. Excited for your visit here soon! I'm sure you both are gonna have the time of your lives!
I spent two weeks in the Philippines earlier this year and it wasn't enough. I did not want to hop on my return flight back to the States. Beautiful nature, so many outdoor activities and the friendliest people I've met during my travels. And everyone speaks English, so it's easy to connect with the locals.
We can’t wait either. I think we will be only a handful of reactors who started in their bedroom in the USA and ACTUALLY did what we say we are gonna do and move to Asia. Excited to be the small minority who follows through with our word. I take pride in this 🇵🇭😊❤️
@@TripTipsPodcast that I cannot answer, because they are married to a different people with different personalities.. but from I have seen in interviews it seems like they happy and contented. Anyway dumaguete is 30 minutes away from cebu you can ask them personally..
In cities 1-1.5 hr massage by well trained therapists will cost you around $12 and this amazes foreign visitors everytime ...so the pampering almost everyday. BTW the country also is a top hub for medical tourism, beauty and wellness generally because it's more affordable, and English speaking staff. 😊
Before you come to the Philippines, i think you should watch first the A foreigner's (honest) expectations vs reality in the Philippines. It's very informative, you will learn about the reality here in the phil. from a foreigners point of view😊
Thank you guys for appreciating our country. It makes me so proud being a Filipino because of guys like you. Hope you enjoy your "soon" vacation on my country. There is so much to explore, there is a lot of beautiful islands to visits, and there is so amazing food to try. Small facts: If you watch the Avengers End Game, the last part after Iron Man snapped his fingers. Thanos found himself in a small hut, it's actually in the Philippines, somewhere in Ifugao if I'm not mistaken(first few minutes of the video) Guys, when you are in the Philippines, please don't miss to upload your travels. I'm going to watch and react after my shift. Super duper excited..
U wont regret going to bohol and camiguin Negros they have somewhat maldives islnd there also palawan there is a floating cottage there and people are so welcoming and giving
I've seen some of your reveiws about the Philippines,If you're planning to go to the Philippines don't forget to visit Cebu....there are more waterfalls and beaches in the northern and southern part.(Bantayan island,Moalboal,Badian,Inambakan falls in Ginatilan)are some of the examples.Thank you for choosing my country to visit.
What you saw in this video are actually amazing places. How ever before you can get to these amazing places will take energy, money ( not a lot of money though with your dollar exchange). Don't be disappointed with some of the transportations/ roads, facilities and some other stuff. But its all worth it when you reach your destinations.
Philippines is a tropical country. The kind of weather that sharks doesn't want. 😍 Maybe they don't wanna become tan because of the heat. hahaha! But on a serious note. Our country is blessed not to have such creature in our waters.
Most of those places in the beggining are in Northern part of the country, LUZON. You've got your list of great etinerary right there. Start in the south going up north.❤️
If you see the Philippines has 7,641 island, and every island has own food recipes lots beautiful places to offer. The adventures is never stop thats why some people are keep coming back here in the Philippines they're fall in love in nature and people. Hope once you visit here in Philippines hope good time and be careful for all adventures you going to try.
Filipinos are friendly people, Shark in the Phillipines are very respectful they dont want to embarrassed the country thats why shark there are extremely friendly also😂😂
most travellers experience other countries in south east asia and visits the Philippines last then they keep extending their stay ..guess that defines the experience they have adapted.
Great white sharks, tiger sharks and hammer head sharks, Are so rare in the philippines. Only whale sharks, thresher sharks, white tip and black tip sharks are common.
The waterfall in the background of Lanao Del Norte at 20:28 is just 15 minutes away from my house. Additionally, there is another falls called Maria Cristina Falls, which is even bigger. Maria Cristina Falls powers the Agus VI Hydroelectric Plant.
I'm from the Philippines, but I have never been to this place except my hometown & Boracay once. I'm dreaming of visiting one of those places someday. 😊
I remember Trifate and they do what you are doing reacting about the Philippines, culture, food and SB19... Now they are now full time residing in Manila travelling more in the Philippines. Hope you can also visit us soon as soon as earlier than November.
Palawan is so nice some lagoons are mix of ocean and fresh water so beautiful and so untouched God has been so good He took his time when He made the Philippine island the whale shark does not bite
Regarding buying lands in the Philippines, if I remember correctly, you can either have a long lease term with a landowner, marry a Filipino citizen or be a business owner partnered with a local and buy the land together. You can build a house to call your own but not the land it's built upon as a non-Filipino... or as somebody told me you can finance a Filipino friend/ business partner to buy the land for you and have a separate contract stating you own the land but it can get real complicated from there lol. You can also inherit lands though even as an American/ European, etc. If there are any FIlipino real estate lawyers in the comment section, I would also like to know more. I only found out about this because a friend was planning to buy lands there after his first visit but fortunately fell in love and got married when he visited the Philippines the second time around. He bought a couple of lands in Tagaytay CIty and a condo unit in Manila. They werent cheap but not as expensive as here in the US.
Once you visit the pilipinas you'll definitely coming back untill you decide to live there, a lot of people found happiness and love peaceful mind in this country, seems like pinas is a medicine to some who is having a mental problem ❤

I’m so jealous. Put me in your suitcase 🤣🇵🇭❤️

When I'm 50 I'll definitely going home and travels around the Islands and mountains😊 I love the Philippine... 8 more years to go😊
What expats who ended up staying for good in the Philippines do, is travel to other countries from time to time, but spend most of their time in the Philippines, making it their home country. Aside from the great places, most foreigners say that our food here taste better, compared to those in the US that are mostly bland. Thank you for this RV!
That’s what we are looking forward to is the food in PH 🤤🤩
Thank You for reacting to Philippines. We appreciate it so much.

The Philippines is home to between 120 and 187 languages, so diverse. Thankfully, the country knew English. 😊

(e.g. Calabarzon/CALABARZON = coastal Province of Cavite, landlocked Province of Laguna, coastal Province of Batangas, landlocked Province of Rizal, and coastal Province of Quezon; Mimaropa/MIMAROPA = island or island group of Mindoro, which is made up of two coastal and island provinces of Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro, and the island Provinces of Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan; Soccsksargen/SOCCSKSARGEN = The landlocked Provinces of South Cotabato and Cotabato [formerly and aka North Cotabato], the coastal provinces of Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani, and the highly urbanized and independent City of General Santos)
All of these names are not and are not all of the names of the islands of the Philippines, because most of the rest of the islands and islets, etc. of the Philippines are unnamed or yet unnamed, are uninhabited or are not permanently inhabited, are protected islands and islets or within protected areas, and are already part, integrated, or included together with the provinces and highly urbanized independent cities of the Philippines, which can be coastal ones that are part of a larger island, or can be island or archipelagic ones made up of a few to a lot of islands and islets, etc., and they, these islands and also the other islands and landlocked, coastal, and island provinces and highly urbanized independent cities within or are parts of an island, are usually named after the largest or the most significant or important island of the area/place/location or of the the island group/island chain/group of island/smaller archipelago, named after another geographic feature (like a landform or a body of water) of, near/close, neighboring, surrounding, adjacent to, or in/within that area/place/location, named after a person or a group of people like a native ethnicity/ethnic group/ethnolinguistic group of the Philippines, usually from someone that has a relation, connection, importance, significance, or value in or from the area/place/location, or are named after something else, and all with or without an additional part of its name that is from the location of the province or highly urbanized independent city in the area/place/location or island/island group/island chain/group of island/smaller archipelago based on the cardinal directions (e.g.
We will try our absolute best to visit as many islands as possible
