The philippines is so blessed the beautiful places tge eyes would adored and the smilling friendly people from all walks of life i am so proud to be a filipino❤
The Phillipines is beautiful.... at the same time, I'm Australian and my brother married a Filipino lady.... she had never had a steak in her country... in fact, she'd been made to be a maid from the age of 15 for someone... in order to pay for her education..... he and his wife sent back money for fans, food etc......
Ur brother married a poor girl from the Philippines but not all girls here comes from poor families just like me and my friends. 40% of Filipinos are in low middle class and upper middle class and the rich and super rich, but 60% are from poverty specially from the far flung areas in d provinces who weren't able to get degrees.
Joel, there is so much beauty in this world we call our home. I sometimes wonder if what we have here is but a small glimpse of the paradise awaiting us known as Heaven, what then will that be like! Whatever one's belief, whether there is a hereafter or not, even just to try to imagine it, yes? I love that you are so taken by the many wonders of this world, by Nature herself. It is after all, all that we have! Blessings!
I highly recommend any of thejuicemedia's videos in relation to how Australians perceive government/how things are run over here. They recently did a breakdown of our two largest parties attitudes to the rental crisis. Edit: sorry this is off topic, just found you love your stuff mate.
Hello Joel, there's a lot of foreign travel vloggers across the globe who visit the Philippines. You can check their respective channels to give you an idea and information about their experiences on different parts of the country they visited. Some of them stayed for a couple of months and others stayed for years.😉😊
The answer to your question about when the ad for Baracay was made ( at 10:54) appears for a few seconds at the end - in tiny letters, so easy to miss. It says 'Philippines Tourism Ads 2020.'
I heard some parts of the Philippines are rather poor which wasn't represented here. I wonder what crime and corruption is like as that can be an issue in some poorer countries. However, doesn't change the fact that the Philippine people that I've seen in Australia are good people
All countries have poor population even in Singapore and Japan. Also, Philippines is ranked 2nd / 3rd in the world for being one of the friendliest people
No worries about that, corruption is terrible and martial law happened, but the poor people are living a simple life and are happy, most are mentally tough and resilient to natural calamities.
I must admit there are poor and bad people in my country of birth. I lived outside the Philippines since the 80's. But here in Australia, it's the same. There's crime here, too. Most filipinos are peace loving human beings. I thank God I lived here for 33 years, and it changed me who I am. I love Australia and its people.
Hello Joel. After a few previous video showed the British occupied the capital in the 1700s, I said it would be nice if they joined the Commonwealth. I read more about this and there was a suggestion of documents found there by the British at that time led them to search for whoa the would be New Zealand and Australia, as a link to the previous videos. Beautiful country by the way.
Thank you po for his video we're so happy that you adore our country so much, it's keep reminds me how grateful to be filipino are thank u so much more blessings to come hope u visit our country soon?!🌷
You are correct that it is a Tourism video. Still many people may not know that there are several hundred thousand expats who live in the Philippines. The video, I believe, show foreigners, some say, maybe paid models. Some foreign vloggers who have actually lived in the Philippines for years are “Finn Snow”, Kyle Jennermann (Canadian), of the “Becoming Filipino” vlog, “Kapitan Daot”(British), Married couple(Filipina) “Lea and (Aussie) Blair Slog”, “Jelena Kopileck”(Russian) and most recently “Island Barbie”(American), who reminds me of my childhood Blonde, American classmate and friend.
ua-cam.com/video/MzfhPDHuFYQ/v-deo.html if you really want to understand how Australians talk, you need to understand that swearing is a major part of our vocabulary and that we use it nearly every sentence, great vid and extremely funny Isaac is the perfect person to teach you Australian swearing and slang
15:22 Aria Inthavong has a 3 Part Series set in the Philippines and Johnny Harris has a video about US-Philippines Relations. VICE recently did a documentary on the recent election in the Philippines.
New sub here. As for Philippines policy and international relations, the country usually adapts to majority of what the US have. We have to understand the Philippines was once an American colony so it only make sense they were influence in many ways even to this day. The country is close to the neighboring Asian countries so their relationships with one another is pretty solid. The Philippines is member of the United Nations.
Hey, a very early subscriber of yours from Aussie here. Just wondering if you could please have your featured vids on the main picture and yourself in a corner somewhere, so we don’t miss details of what you’re seeing? Promise, we’ll still pay as much attention to your commentaries. As always, excellent coverage, immensely enjoyed. Ta!

In reality it's hard to reach all those places because they are far away from each other and expensive. As a Filipino myself they are truly awesome and amazing just hard to reach.
Sorry joel that is the tourist publcity stuff... your best videos are when we see real people reacting and the real life. We have many phillipinos here, working and sending money home. They are wonderful people... a credit to their country, but over there be careful, use hotel safes, have locked tightly attached bum bags and be careful of street food... sometimes it does not taste as good the second time. lets have the real people oin real situations
These places are also waiting for your visit next day soon, hopefully you wake up early on letting your life immerse in the PH, (foodie, a traveler, an environmentalist), everything has their place under the sun in the PH, politics, religion, economy; Typhoon Hayan (Yolanda) was the most devastating.
They said, philippines is the only country needed to protected all the time, other countries protecting Philippines 24/7, due to beauty of nature, not only the those people living in there is 100% perfection, talents, skills, beauty of their faces, beautiful voices, naturally beauty, they said the this country is only god protection, hurt the country it self something might happened to your country. philippine is also religious country so yeah... all the time they always protected this country as much as possible, they said the this country is the 2nd home of God. the divine knowledge, Philippines also called "hidden gems" due to perfection of lands, people, cultures, history, blood of warriors, yes we all are not blood of royalty
those were the travel campaign ads in the middle of pandemic since travel were restricted and you can only dream of waking up in such beautiful islands. and btw the government sucks 🤣
We are used to HURRICANES and Typhoons ,we welcome and embrace them as PART of Nature.. Philippines is a Mini Me of AMERICA but we have LESS CRIMES compare to AMERICA but the GOVT is Pattern to AMERICA.
Watch these vloggers about their experiences in the Philippines: Always be Changing (from US) Joel Friend, Travel Escapes( from US), Jumping Places and 2 passport 1 dream.
Philippines is a Christian majority with 95% and 5% other religion like Islam located mostly in southern Philippines. The government is a democratic republic and English is one of the major language so almost everyone can speak decent English, that's why many vloggers like Philippines because no barrier of communication. Don't go here from June to September, it's rainy season and typhoon is everywhere, atleast visit us from December to March. Hope to see you soon ♥️❤️🇵🇭
If want to visit here in Philippines you must start CEBU CITY, Bisayas region we have international airport here and connecting to other islands Bohol, Siquejor, Dumaguete,Boracay, etc, 💀🇵🇭🇸🇪🗡️
The Philippines is the only country whom has more but ain't enough to experience all..... to many Islands ,too many beautiful places and beautiful people... i admire how Kyle ( Kulas) did the traveling and he almost finish to sink in all the Philippines, just like Kumander Daot.
To be honest country sides are really amazing places to visit but Metro Manila is populated.. friendliest people on earth, foods and fruits were delicious and tropical weather is just wow.. the only negative comment is that filipinos dont practice proper solid waste disposal..
boarding the airplane naked with just the passport in the hand is deffently most safe. the presidents anti-drug campaign can make this country a bit dangerous.. i would not bring any luggage, to and from a place like this..
i heard you go to uk i watch all your vid on uk why dont you visit australia /philipines and new zealand btw the best time to travel australia are in spring season September, October and November if you want summer time like you in uk you must go in this month December, January and February and winter June to August so if you want to go australia there were allot of city such as adelaide/perth/melbourne/sydney/brisbane/goldcoast and hobart btw there were allot amazing city in australia so when you go there just go this city such as melbourne/sydney and goldcoast .
I prefer the outback or rural areas like the Grampians in victoria, melbournes to busy for my liking. I live about 40mins out from melbournes CBD. personaly i recomend Exmouth in WA, along the beaches theres Ningaloo reef and its stunning. Out of our whole country i need to go back there. When i hqve a family (but its a big if) ill try to make it a 1 every 2yr trip. My family has travled from melbourne to perth twice, one of the trips to perth we continued up to Exmouth, all by car. We also stopped and visted many swimming holes and ravines in WA. Im just saying theres so much more than our citys, alot of tourists can forget about the rural areas
There is no brekky in the Philippines. It's the only Hispanized Asian country. It's the only country that had statue of American General Douglas McArthur.
There's a lot more beautiful island that not being shown in the video,. Just travel in around the provinces and meet the locals , just respect their culture. it's safe don't be afraid. You'll enjoy they protect you. Thanks. Visit our Beloved country.

The first narrator reminded me of the "so where the bloody hell are ya?" ads from many years ago.
