Your 3-1/2 minute rant about Ginger is a classic moment in all reaction videos. You said b***h 22 times and "Oh my God" 8 times with your face buried in your hand. 😄 45:12
He said this bitch is a bitch’s bitch😂
This is by far the best movie review I’ve seen. 😭😭
Yeah that was absolutely hilarious 🤣
I was cracking up! 😂
the best part of the reaction hahahahaha had me in tears 🤣🤣🤣 'this bitch is a bitch bitch'
The wardrobe department went extra hard with this one. Every single outfit De Niro wears is straight fire.
I thought Sharon Stone's outfits were fly too.
Yep the fits were perfect for every period 👍
Not many people can pull off the pink salmon. But he did it with style and class. My two favorites were the silver shark skin suit and the red and black suit.
Especially the one in the car
except for that getup in the office with his leggings😹
She told him she couldn’t marry him because she didn’t love you, then he’s all shocked pikachu that she does not in fact, love him. 😂
She tried to warn him, I’ll give her that.
Like, it in no way exonerates her behavior, but Sam was a damn idiot.
"Then he's all shocked Pikachu" might be the most vomit-inducing thing I have ever read.
He wasn't asking for her love. He asked for her respect and trust. But, he just didn't understand how tight a hold her pimp had on her. And she got on drugs and drank a lot.
She just couldn't handle it.
He could've chosen Anyone else and did Much better
Unfortunately talking normally is gone since words keep changing thanks to unelected freaks messing with languages to destroy society
Your pause to talk about Ginger tying up her daughter was one of your best all-time pauses! Great reaction, J! 😂👊🏻
" i hope she drop dead"
**Drops dead
"GOOD!"
😂😂😂😂😂
"This trifling ass ho" I'm fuckin' dying
That's still one of the most brutal deaths I've seen in a movie. Beating their bones into gravel, stripping them down, and then burying them while they're still breathing. There's something jarring about that mentally, in addition to just the violent aspect. *shivers*
Also, yes, Sharon Stone absolutely killed that role.
Rothstein: "I'm not a sucker"
Jay: "ARE YOU SURE!?!"
ME: 💀
Scorsese directed the hell out of this one, that's for sure. The cinematography, the lighting, the editing.. everything is just so damn effortless. One of the quickest 3 hours you'll ever sit through.
The Irishman was better in my opinion...
@@k9pxGoodfellas was better than both those. I really wanted to like Casino but it just felt like I could be watching Goodfellas instead of this
@@deadmanwalking8740 and you could be... if you wanted to watch the second best movie out of the 2
The Irishman is better but different. Particularly the 2nd half of the Irishman that’s slow paced with little to No music is the best work Scorsese has ever done. DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci performances towards the end of that movie is just terrific. And we’re not distracted with CGI De-aging in the faces with the characters in the 2nd half. (DeNiro picking up the chili dogs/Pacino getting out of Jail) that scene Onward. The Irishman is the best.
55:59 That was revenge for Billy Batts from Goodfellas. And he did it with a bat. How poetic. 😂
EXACTLY 💯
47:00 -- Your reaction to the depravity of Ginger was pure gold xD so hilarious and justified 🤣
I’ve always been amazed that Nicky could peel out in his car on the sand in the desert and make the tires squeal.
The character of Sam "Ace" Rothstein was based off of real life casino boss Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal, who secretly ran the Stardust, Fremont, Marina, and Hacienda casinos when they were controlled by the Chicago Outfit. Nicky Santoro was based off of mob enforcer Anthony "The Ant" Spilotro, who was a high-ranking member of the Chicago Outfit in Vegas during the 70s and 80s.
Still to this day this is probably my favorite Scorsese flick.
And Don Rick Rickles character Billy Sherbert was based on Frank Fertita Jr, father of UFC owners Frank the 3rd and Lorenzo during the ZUFFA Era.
Great film but “The Departed” is his masterpiece, imo at least.
Joe Pesci looked like Spilotro so much that when he showed up one of the dealers nearly fainted.
Your rant on Ginger after she tied her daughter up was on point and had me rolling.
The real life frank Culotta, the guy who killed Nicky, was a technical advisor on set on how the mob operated and he is the guy actually doing the broad day assassination in the scene
You need to watch Scorsese's Cape Fear. De Niro was CRAZY in that one.
Great movie
One of his best acting ever!!
Yes! He was on another level. And that opening prison scene was perfection.
I prefer “The Fan” as my DeNiro unhinged character that go’s nuts.
Sam: So what’d ya have?
Eom: DCK🗣️
🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭💯💯💯
That whole ending movie rant on Sharon Stone was classic! 😂
Probably the most accurate mafia film based on facts instead of an ex gangster’s testimony. At the time of filming they didn’t know that Frank Rosenthal ( Sam Ace ) was actually an informant for decades. Also they didn’t know Tony ( Nicky ) was murdered in a basement then dumped at a farm. That came out in 2005 during the trial for his and his brothers murder
In every movie he's in, Joe Pesci is always throwing monkey wrenches into everyone else's plans.
He's a little chaos demon 😈
I can't think of any examples where he's not doing that!
nah , he was cool in raging bull, actually he was the victim in the situation
With Honors is a sweet movie… but he does still stir the pot😂
Cousin vinnie
The character played by Smothers, the commissioner who immediately called for a vote to deny Ace’s license, was supposed to be based on Harry Reid, who became a senator from Nevada.
Robert De Niro: What did you have?
You: D***!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My mom is a dealer in the movie. She worked at the Riviera, the main casino floor shots where done there, and got cast as a background extra. She even stopped a tiny mistake from happening, as she called out that a waitress had light beer on her tray (Light Beer would not have been around at the time, or so she told me).
It was awesome to see this production, and a really good movie. Sharon Stone gave a hell of a performance. I pass by the store (now a furniture store) where the Hole-In-The-Wall gang (Nicky's crew, or Tony "The ANT" Spilotro ) robbed. Also pass by where Sam Rothstein (Frank Rosenthal) car bomb went off all the time. The lawyer that defends Frank for the Nevada Gaming Board is Oscar Goodman (Frank's real lawyer and became mayor of Vegas)
That's cool as hell
Oh boy! Nicky and Ginger are gonna be the prom king and queen of the "Ain't Shit List."
And I am here for it! They're the worst!
Joe pesci is an amazing and very underrated actor. Most people only think of him in mob movies but his range is way bigger than that. Look up the movie With Honors, The Super, Raging Bull, my cousin vinny or Gone Fishing. He can do comedy, and nonviolent dramas as well.
He started out as a comedian. His partner was none other than Frank Vincent. It’s rather hilarious when you know that, given how Scorsese always sets them on each other in his films.
Shout to Don Rickles
Mr Warmth
There aren't many scenes from movies that have stuck in my head since a kid like that baseball bat scene and the eye pop in the vice😂 that's when I knew that life wasn't for me😂
Another Sharon Stone movie due for a reaction on the channel - Basic Instinct. Hopefully you'll add it to the list!
"Why would you put Joe Pesci in Home Alone?" wait till you see him in Gone Fishin'
PS: I think the real DeNiro character was still alive until a few years ago. Imagine? It's amazing that he survived all that, but he wasn't a threat to the mafia anymore - and he knew how to stay quiet. Incredible story. Scorcese loved these stories because he grew up here in NY little-Italy, where a lot of mobsters were. But he was never one of them, he just dug the local history (which in this case was in the 1970's when all Vegas was mob-run). I just stayed away from the life because my Sicilian dad would have beat my ass and I was fond of living... lol! Must admit though, Vegas was much more fun in those days. As always JL, God bless you man, you always crack me up (lol).
Just as an aside, there are more than 1 Little Italy’s in NYC. My family lived in the one in Flushing Queens.
Little Known Fact: I once met and talked to Frank Rosenthal.
He also directed Raging Bull with De Niro you need to check that out to
I’ve been waiting for this one for months now! So excited! CHARLIE M. 🤣
Gotta watch another Scorcese movie, "Raging Bull." Pesci's in that one too.
It’s crazy how similar Joe Pesci looks compared to Tony Spilotro (The Real Nicky). You should see his autopsy photos
😂😂😂😂 I love the fact that he was losing his shit about her. I haven’t heard a word Triflin in a hot minute.😂
Could you watch The Burbs? One of Tom Hanks' underrated gems.
THE BEST DAMN REACTION EVER! You have got to be my favorite reactor.
This movie is extremely frustrating rewatching it as an adult.
As an adult I get it so much more. A lot of people with power and money are not gonna find love with the life they live. They were perfect for each other but doesn't mean either of them should of got married 😂
When you said “Did they have CPS back then?! If so WTF they at?!” 😂😂😂
"ARE YOU SURE? Is he SURE he's not a sucker?" I had to pause to LMAO!
"Soon as my hand heals he would have to see me, not Dinero but, my homeboy"😂
Las Vegas can get damn cold at night with a 30-40 degree drop in temp between day and night
Bro I'm so happy you reached 50k. You deserve a million and more!
Best Casino reaction ever! Loved it, my man!😎
Ok let’s talk about the Sound Track to this one. Unbelievable!! So fire! Amazing 🤩
She tied up the baby dawg....SHE deserves the word !
The Irishman is the Netflix movie. Very good
Scorsese's Mom plays the grocery store owner's mother in this movie. The grocery store that the FBI wiretaps. His Mom makes a cameo in all of Scorsese's movies. In Goodfellas she plays Tommy's mom, the one they stole the steak knife from when they killed Billy Batts in the trunk. lol I think it's cute how he put his mom in his movies. Catherine Scorsese is like a cult celebrity.
Is she in Cape Fear? That movie is underrated
She and her husband were in a mini documentary called italianoamerica in the 70s with scorcese at there nyc apartment, Katie was a really sweet lady and was a great cook.
My grandma was her twin in nearly every single way! I love every appearance she makes. Reminds me of my gramma.
She was in a few of his movies, but not all of them. 'Goodfellas' and this one, plus she appeared in 'Taxi Driver' near the end in a newspaper photo as Iris' mother after she returns to her parents. She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Godfather Part III', talking to Andy Garcia in the street in New York. But Scorsese directed other non-gangster films like 'Kundun' about the childhood of the Dalai Lama and a romance 'The Age of Innocence' starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Winona Ryder that his mother had no part in.
Borrowed * the steak knife. And although kind of type cast, she's she's great actress
Don Rickles is the goat... just sayin
I think Ginger is interesting as the definitive juxtaposition of perfection on the outside covering up the most distorted insides.
Her character was defined by the unexplored abuse and neglect she obviously endured as a child
“You don’t hear them kids giggling while she’s talking?”
What’d you have for lunch?”
“Dick”
💀Dying lol. The real people are Frank Rosenthal and Tony Spilotro. There’s a few documentaries on them if you want the real story cause although it’s based on true events there’s quite a bit of hyperbole done for dramatic flare. Great movie nonetheless and hilarious reaction bro love it
Nicky is gonna make the top of about 7 lists
*Tony Spilotro is the Chicago Outfit wiseguy Nicky is based from. Go look at side by side. Tony was also like 5'3", they look pretty close, especially when Pesci put the gray streak in his hair. His defense Lawyer was Oscar Goodman, Saul Goodman from BBad and Better Call Saul is based on Oscar Goodman who later became Las Vegas Mayor of 3 or 4 terms I think. Represented many wiseguys in court.
@@LoneWolf_Cub_Ogami_IttoOscar’s wife is also the current mayor, I believe.
@@conchfritters01 why does that not at all surprise me?
I saw on the morning news when the bodies were discovered in the cornfield. My intro to the Chicago mob when i was in 8th grade.
Epic break and rant on Ginger! XD XD
Also if you want an AMAZING anti Ginger Sharon Stone role I implore you to watch The Quick and The Dead. It's a kick ass western starring Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gene Hackman, Keith David and Lance Hennerickson and Stone kicks do much ass in it.
Directed by Sam Raimi! It's very underrated.
Oh, shit, it’s goin down tonight! There are definitively some scenes in this movie that our man Jay is gonna have a reaction to. This is gonna be fun!
Joe Pesci started out as a standup comedian. He’s as great at comedy as he is drama. His first major film role was in Scorcese’s Raging Bull (another must watch) but he was doing comedy roles like Leo Goetz in the Lethal Weapon film series before Home Alone. DeNiro can be very funny too. I loved him in Midnight Run.
Don't think I've ever seen you speechless that long on a scene, you know, when the blonde was tieing his shoes in the 'Eldo. You're killing me, Malls!
Frankie killed Nicky as revenge for killing him in Goodfellas...
The looks you give to the camera when some bullshit is going on always make me laugh 😂
Damn the editing, you're a professional reviewer now. I remember you was just a guy watching movies with the dogs before. Good shit bro !
What a hilarious thumbnail. You're the best!
I just recently started watching your reactions and I’ve loved every single one of them.
Everything you had to say about Ginger is exactly what I feel and probably most everyone else watching.
Awesome reaction!
They should make a GRUMPY OLD MEN movie with DeNiro and Pesci
That would be awesome
They did. "The Irishman"😅
From my understanding the reason that Frankie (Nicky's main guy in his crew) and the rest of his crew killed Nicky and his brother is one reason. If you go back to the scene where Remo asked Frankie if he knew about Nicky and Ginger f***king and Frankie lied and said no, even though he knew that lying to Remo means he could be killed also, well Remo found out the Frankie did lie to him. So instead of the bosses having Frankie killed for lying to Remo they gave Frankie amnesty only if he killed Nicky. Because as Sam said, the bosses had enough of Nicky, with everything he did that he wasn't supposed to plus Nicky's attempt on Sam"s life which wasn't authorized. So in the end, Frankie killed Nicky to literally save his own life
I agree but it’s strange. You would think Nicky betraying Sam would signal to his crew that if he’s willing to do that nobody can trust him. I would have thought it would have been enough to tell Remo the truth.
@@echoesofmalachor3700 yeah I understand that but I don't think that Frankie thought that coming clean would have done any good. He probably thought that if he came clean after all this time would have been worse, especially after everyone was getting whacked. I think Frankie just got lucky
That live burial scene burnt into my memory when I watched this as a little kid.
Not much scares me, particularly in movies, but the thought of being buried alive like that with your brother is kinda horrifying.
De Niro deaerves "The Simp" award academy for his performance in The Casino.
Joe Bob Briggs! Who remembers 'Monstervision' on TNT back in the day?
In all fairness, Ginger really did try to talk Ace out of the marriage. She told him the truth, but he wouldn't listen.
True, but that doesn't justify anything else she did. She was a horrible human being regardless of marital status.
Running a casino he was amazing......when it came to women he was duuuuuumb!
Yo. That black panther mask in the corner scared me. I thought you were being watched. Hahahaha
That was hilarious, great reaction as always!
Your one liners are En Fuego!! 🔥🔥🔥. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You’ve been delivering fr! This is one we needed!
Not gonna lie, I was upset the leisure suit was only in the thumbnail. lol Great reaction for an amazing movie!
Oh shit, for Scorsese movies you HAVE to do Wolf of Wall Street, The Departed, Shutter Island and Gangs of New York ASAP!! Please!?!? ASAP!!!
And "Silence" which surely is one of his most intersting works. But a history drama about missionaries in ancient Japan isn´t comparable to the usual crime dramas Scorcese makes. Nevertheless a great movie!
Yo the notification did notify me! Glad i made it!
Oh and the pauses !!! Haha
that look 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is a good movie. I watched it for the first time on an ATL-San Francisco's flight. 1:22
I HAAAAATTEEE this movie because the choices DeNiro makes but I needed to hear your reaction to it 😂😂😂
Love was worse than kryptonite for DeNiro. He was a smart, clearheaded, and focused man... except when that lady was involved. Then he was completely hopeless.
Cool trivia on this movie. the conversations between DeNiro and Pesci were mostly all improv. they were given some direction as to where the conversation should go or how it should end. but how they got there was up to them and their improv skills.....pretty cool
Hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
The Cooler is another great Vegas casino film.
My husband and I got married after 3 weeks. That was 40 years ago in October. Can’t say it’s been perfect, but it’s ours.
I loved your reaction about the wife lol that was so perfect because that was my exact reaction, especially when she tried to kid up.
I know i great movie for you to do a reaction to the Toxic Avenger!!!
Nothing grinds my gears like someone attempting to steal what I have rightfully stolen.
Don't feel bad Jay. Scorsese's film are all basically the same.
It seems fitting that you wore a John Wick shirt. Pesci is the OG John Wick almost killing a guy with a pen. A f#&^ing pen!!!! Your reactions are hilarious man. Keep it up dude!!
Fun fact: the guy playing the black jack dealer played a blackjack dealer in 4 different films and 2 TV shows.
DeNiro played one of the greatest simps in film history
Forrest Gump?
@@witcheshour9718 Forrest was mentally handicapped and did not understand what was going on half the time.
Ace KNEW Ginger wasn't $h!t, and thought he could change her.
OMG You killed me with dickmatized. 😂😂😂
It's a shit ton of fun watching movies with you!
Great reaction this is a classic, i needed to pause to see what was the stfu pic was loljajaja is a casino chip right?? But awesome reaction EOM much respect for you and your work and for your beautifull dogs, i always enjoy your reactions
Great reaction man!
As much as you hate Sharon Stone's character, you can't dispute she gave one of the great acting performances of the 1990s here. There's a reason she got an Oscar nomination for it.
Ginger just took the MVP at this years AIN’T SHIT AWARDS. This the first reaction you’ve done when the city of Detroit feels good about itself. 😄🤘🏼
