This is true. In college a friend of mine didn’t pass the GRE and I passed it. Because he came from wealth and dressed better and spoke better than I did he assumed he was more intelligent than me. He wouldn’t take my help. He was even more mad when I got into the graduate program which I didn’t tell him. Another friend did.

I was always happy for friends and family when good fortune shone on them but they were rarely happy when it shone on me.
I am genuinely happy when my friends and family do good but if they obviously brag about it I get a bad taste in my mouth.
No one needs to know every move I make; I'm not obligated to share my achievements with anyone. It's best to keep it behind closed doors.

I think that if you celebrate behind closed doors is that you'll find that you can ENJOY it more better to yourself in peace and it will also make you REALIZE to appreciate your life more better and become more greatful from within yourself because you get SENSE of achievement to say I did that.
I agree with the title of this video because some people who act like they are happy for you only question you to see whether you will fail or just to criticize your achievement.

When I was almost finished playing he comes up to me and says "Yo when are you done? Come down and join us you're not that good anyway". Wtf? Cut that POS outta my life and never looked back.
So True. I have got a lot of resentment over the years from having musical ability, I can keep that behind close doors but the worst was resentment from 'friends' when I started sorting out my weight problem. Could not keep that one behind closed doors, it's like a missing third arm or something.

I have accomplished so much in one year only certain trusted people in my family are aware of they are so happy for me , my past hasn't been what you'd call something to be proud of but turned my life around they are blown away just getting better by the day I'm very guarded these days so there's only a few people that I know genuinely have my best interests are let in I used to be an open book some might say to open but have now become very private just feel safer that way anyway great advice great videos and thanks

The truth is being spoken
There are people out there that see the gift or ambition in you, a few admire it & then there are those that try to bring down your spirit (as so you don’t get a big head). Some family members & friends think I’m sensitive cause I call them out when they say some slime as shiit as some joke but I’ve witnessed many “close” friends take lil punts at one another & when they fell out they said those same things in the heat of the moment. Yeah I’m sensitive, i can sense some bs very well

I believe you can tell people things about yourself, in my estimation. About your financial life love life etc. However, I believe that you should already “have it in the bag” before you start sharing. When you are working towards a goal it is best to not share too much about what you are doing or trying to do, in the event that it doesn’t happen. Moreover, People will try to hinder or stop your success in the best way they can because they think it empowers them and it isn’t best to have people around with their negative energy. Moreover, Everyone isn’t happy to see you happy or advancing when they themselves haven’t. Furthermore, by having it “in the bag” things are already set in stone, making it hard for anyone to hinder your success and cast their negative energy on your endeavours.
