I tried this last night and it was amazing! My hair didn’t get longer but it became so much smoother and shinier. Can’t stop touching it now🤣 Thanks so much!!❤
My grandma who’s in her 70s has amazing thick wavy hair and has applied Johnson oil to her hair for years. She loves the way it’s makes her hair feel smooth and shiny. I’ve felt it and it’s really soft. I want to start putting it on mine too! ☺️
hi Amy, nice video tutorial, thank you 🙏 questions: 1) can this treatment be done for people with wavy/curly hair or will it weight down the waves? 2) what kind of shampoo should be used to wash the oil off, do we need to condition the hair after or shampooing should suffice? once again thank you Amy p.s your hair looks awesome!
Thank you!! It can work on curly hair. Any shampoo usually works for me, but a clarifying one is great if you find your usual one isn’t. I’d follow with a conditioner too for hydration!
Thank you so much for this video 🙏 I know a good trick for thick curly dry & damaged hair like mine, which is mixing few drops of your favourite oil into your regular shampoo and conditioner. I have tried this trick years ago with Coconut oil and it made my hair grow like crazy, and it became thicker and stronger. I'm thinking of trying same trick with Baby oil, like mixing a ratio of 1 or maximum 2 mls of oil with every 50 mls of shampoo and conditioner 🙂 and I will tell you the results 😊✌
Oh that’s an amazing idea, something I should definitely start doing so thanks for sharing ☺️ Yes let me know how you get on with baby oil, I haven’t used it personally for a while but seeing you comment on this video has made me want to do it all over again ☺️
What happens if I used to much and now my hair is super greasy?? I don’t know how to fix it to not look greasy anymore. And it’s already been a day since. Please help!
Mam first I apply coconut oil after shampooing and on next day I apply jhonson baby hair oil as serum in wet hair. Is it safe for me as I don't want to loose my hair? Please answer mam
hiya, thabk you so much for this, I'm going through peri menopause and my hair is thinning like mad on the crown of my head and one side. it's heartbreaking to me and ATM im still sort of able to cover it up but anyway, it's got me trying all sorts of other natural remedies. I've tried rosemary oil and its ongoing and I do think I have some little stubble hairs growing back in in my crown, I've tried coconut oil and that's divine and fantastic too for my split ends and ive tried castor oil with rosemary and that is also lovely. I'll defo give baby oil a go because I'm suffering from really dry skin and itchy flaked scalp so baby oil sounds like it could really help me alot. your hair looks beautiful after you dried it etc and the shine is wow!
Awh so pleased this video was helpful! Natural remedies are a great place to start, I’ve also tried a hair growth oil/ hair thinning oil which you may also enjoy trying!
@@Blondeamy I did the baby oil and it is amazing, so glad I got 2 bottles. as you say its very inexpensive and yet the results are beautiful, thank you sooooo much xx
hi, does it makes your hair thinner or thicker? because i don’t want my hair to be thicker, n i’ve been recently using it. i also bought a frizz killer serum so should i use both of them or what? if yes should i use the serum or the oil first? sorry for asking too much
Hey, this won’t make hair thicker or thinner alone, but generally using products like this will help you to strengthen your hair from the inside out. If you use this like I did in the video overnight (or for an extended period of time), and then wash hair and then add serum before styling and after if needed. Alternatively you can add a small amount of baby oil in place of a serum to control frizz on the hair X
hi!i got some questions for you:i have greasy scalp(not extremely)i struggle with dandruff(only a little)and my scalp & hair smells ugly overall in summer...my question is:can I use baby oil for make my scalp and hair produce less grease and can smell good?can I apply it in the afternoon(when is i take a shower)?and finally:apply baby oil in my scalp & hair can°t make my hair fall out?please reply me,i really want to solve my problem(i don°t want that my scalp & hair smells ugly)tnks!!!!
ooh excuse me,lady ...i forgot to ask you something:i got baby gel oil in the scent shea & cocoa butter...can I use this instead of a regular baby oil(this format is also gel)?
Let me know how you get on! I’m going to continue trying different oils overnight to find my ultimate fave but so I’d definitely say coconut oil has the crown; the hydration is amazing as is the shiny result after using x
hey girl i dont know if you will see my comment but i want to ask is it a problem if i use heat on my hair after i wash the oil out , will the hair stay smooth ? ( sorry if i did make any mistakes, english is not my first language)
May I ask a question? My scalp is an oily scalp, I want to use baby oil but don't know if applying it to the scalp and hair follicles will cause hair loss? Because my hair is dry, but my scalp is oily. I just sweat or there was a time when I used grapefruit essential oil after I washed and dried my hair and it fell out. I want my hair to be smoother, should I use it? Thank you very much🍀
Any oil washes out correctly will have no negative effects which is why I recommend to apply before washing and then ensuring it is washed out thoroughly ☺️ If hair loss is a concern, rosemary oil is one to consider as that does wonders to re growth!
Do not put essential oils on your scalp. especially not rosemary or grapefruit essential oil. You need to dilute it heavily with carrier oil - like argan, coconut or jojoba. There is no reason for your hair to fall out if you're oiling properly! Apply oil to roots, massage, apply to ends. Leave in for 2 ish hours then shampoo and condition as normal.
@@ewewewewewewewewe Thanks for your comment. Well, this one I know. Use essential oils like incubating your hair and then wash it with shampoo. Because before, I saw many people wash their hair, dry it but it's still a little damp, then spray grapefruit oil on it and use a hair dryer to dry it completely. Because I work often, I often sweat a lot, so I think it is not good to spray grapefruit essential oil on it when it is still dirty, so after washing it, I spray grapefruit essential oil.
I'm a boy can i used baby oil overnight and sleep with my long hair is that okay? then wash it with shampoo in the morning then put it again for 24hours then again?

I use baby shampoo on my dog, his coat comes out nicer than when I use a dog shampoo funnily enough.
I believe that completely!
Same! I started using baby shampoo on my dogs probably 15 years ago and it works amazing, especially for dogs/cats with sensitive skin!

Can I mix with conditioner and leave on over night ?

can we put in jonson baby oil also anothers oils almond oil olive oil castor oil and rosemary essential or can you tell me what oil we can add and mix

Change your unhealthy diet to a healthy one, and be hydrated. Fat, grease and bacteria will make your scalp stinky.
How often should you use this ? When should take it off and how?
I’d use this as/when required. Though I would say I like to sleep in an oil weekly, however I’d rather do that with other organic oils ☺️
ooh excuse me,lady ...i forgot to ask you something:i got baby gel oil in the scent shea & cocoa butter...can I use this instead of a regular baby oil(this format is also gel)?

👋 Hello... I have dreadlocks! Can I use baby johnson oil as a daily routine on the dreadlocks and does it work better on the scalp????
I’m really unsure on dreadlock treatments to be honest so wouldn’t want to advice without being confident!
@@Blondeamy thank you ... Will try
Is it work good for dandruff hair?
Unfortunately not, check out my videos on scalp specific products!
Hi Amy, which do you prefer, coconut oil or baby oil? X

I love palmers products so much, I can’t wait to try their hair products myself! X
Hi! is this okay to use if you have colored hair?
It can be, though this is a raw oil so won’t have colour longevity in mind x
In my experience, any product with oil strips dye fast
My sister in law used to cover mine and her kids hair in baby oil and do a bunch of braids when we got lice.
Haha great tip! Oil is great to prevent lice, my daughters hair is always in french braids for school which helps prevent them too ☺️
Is it okay to use the green version of it? The one that says aloe & vitamin e?
I’ve yet to try myself so hard to say - I’d recommend doing a strand test first ☺️
Yes i use that
Thankyou really helped after naturally stripping hair dye with bicard and vitamins ❤❤❤
Most welcome! I hope all goes well with your hair x
hey girl i dont know if you will see my comment but i want to ask is it a problem if i use heat on my hair after i wash the oil out , will the hair stay smooth ? ( sorry if i did make any mistakes, english is not my first language)
Please only apply heat if the oil is absolutely out and rinsed out!
Do I apply it with damp hair?
I found it worked best for me on dry hair with the overnight technique ☺️

I’d recommend to do a patch test before using any products to ensure they don’t cause a reaction ☺️
Can i apply it after hair wash?
You can add a ~tiny~ amount in to smooth hair but I’d recommend applying before washing to wash it out as it is quite weighty in the hair!
