This is later echoed in the Christian gospels which echo events in the classics quite brilliantly and like the classics have multiple meanings. Brilliant! Thank you. ❤

Klar... und die afrikanischen Völker im Westen und Osten waren so fortgeschritten, dass nach 12 000 Jahren sie noch primitiv leben... Es gibt bessere Theorien als diese.
I agree, however one point he missed in Plato's dialogue was how Plato related the catastrophe to phaetons chariot ride which no doubt is a reference to a cosmic impact at the time and probably was the cause of the younger dryas, and the extinction event of this exact time Plato states. If the animals died, then humans perished as well. There is evidence of Floods throughout the northern Sahara area. I don't know if they have been dated to this period in history. So, maybe there was more structures in this area and just got washed into the Atlantic where there was a Hugh land slide around this same period.
@@AnthonyLeaman Scientific studies have noted a vast undersea sediment/landslide off the coast of Mauritania. OzGeology has an eight part series on the megatsunami that swept through N. & W. Africa within the last 12,000 years (which we know thanks to the wake of this megatsunami covering a volcanic slide that we know came from a volcano that erupted 12,000 years ago.) OzGeology (available on UA-cam) notes that cosmic impact caused this event. Not only does this fit with Plato's destruction of Atlantis by flood data, but 11,600 years ago is the end of the ice age and when Meltwater Pulse 1B occurred during the Younger Dryas. Some scientists argue that there was a cosmic impact around this time frame in the geological record (with iridium and nano diamonds, just like the KT boundary had.) A megastunami did hit W. Africa (and the Richat's region) within the last 12,000 years. If you'd like to refute that, please produce scientific findings that do so.
I love the objectivity and the serious approach to the subject. Most docs on Atlantis treat it as a real place, or set out with the intention of dispelling it as myth.
For years I've watched documentaries on Atlantis I had seen George's before very informative and we'll researched well done George love his engineering and conservative approach loved it
Damned fine article, that. Atlantis certainly in the Atlantic. Azores, Canaries & Cabo Verde are mountain tops of the great continent. This brings the Richat structure in to play as a possible site. Impressed by the possibility that Plato was using The Odyssey to encourage us to think in parallel about the questions
This was really well researched and presented. It would've been good to see Randall Carlson interviewed about George's theory as he's presented many in-depth lectures/presentations on Atlantis Origin stories in line with the Younger Dryas events that Plato's story managed to nail all but to the day.
Solid documentary. I'm sold on the Richat Structure as the location of Atlantis from the channel Bright Insight. Glad to know there's textual evidence that can support it as discussed by this documentary.
Amazing interpretation insightfully connects the themes of Plato's Critias and Homer's Odyssey, suggesting that the fall of ancient empires like Atlantis serves as a cautionary tale. To avoid a prolonged period of aimlessness akin to Odysseus's journey, we must remain vigilant against corruption and prepared for catastrophic events, thereby preserving our civilization and its accumulated wisdom.
I think this nailed it on many levels. I think some people owe a Mr. Corsetti an apology, lol. I do have 1 critique of this though. This documentary concludes that Atlantis was likely not a very advanced civilization, because there's not much left as far as ruins at the Richat, just some very primitive ones (which if you ask me, were likely made much more recently). I think whatever destroyed Atlantis was significant enough to wash most things into the Atlantic Ocean. If you look at the area from a satellite view, it's VERY clear that a huge amount of water rushed through that area at some point in the distant past.
I think you are spot on. There's a series which I'll link to below that posits a theory that part of the Younger Dryas comet impacted in the Mediterranean and cause a mega tsunami across that part of Nth Africa. ua-cam.com/video/pTo3ROeWnY8/v-deo.htmlsi=lphatNLefXhLn6pU
There is always the possibility that in the multiple millennia that followed the stones and anything else of use was taken away. Hopefully a thorough archaeological survey can be conducted soon.
Fascinating, thank you for your hard work. Probably a timely reminder of what's coming down the line today, maybe Gobekli Tepi is deciphered in time before we send ourselves back to the stone age.
I was hesitant to watch this video as there seems to be an inundation (pun intended) of internet BS about this structure. I heard of this theory (Richat = Atlantis) before. However, it was from sources who merely pirated the concept and ran with it to make some bucks. This true scholar's research adds tremendous credence to the theory. As a natural resources and environmental economist with a passion for archaeo-economics, this is well worth greater research. Well done and thank you.

That’s how history and science and their research should be taught! The continuity of human thought is what Graham Hancock has been alerting us all in his books exploring the same subjects: “We are the species with amnesia.”
@@AnthonyLeaman Then Plato is the first human being to describe a site and regions in proximity to it with 50+ very specific details that have an over 90% match to his "fictional creation." Some of these details were not known to Plato and are only known today thanks to modern scientific finding. This either makes Plato the greatest prophet in human history or it makes Plato's description of Atlantis actual history. My favorite aspect of the Atlantis debate is that (after asking hundreds of people) no one who claims that Atlantis is fictional can properly define the word "Atlantis."
*Amnesia* ? No - just things coming and going - based on usage or lack of usage. We have used fire for 250,000 years; how come we have no amnesia over its use ? We've used the wheel for at least 7,000 years -- again - where is the amnesia ? We've had 50,000 years of cave art. Why didn't they record their encounters with advanced civilizations ? amnesia ? Hancock is a clever con-artist. Pedaling wishy-washy archeological garbage - has made him influential and very very wealthy. Hancock claims Archeology doesn't want to listen. Why doesn't he publish his evidence in academic journals ? They are willing to hear him. All he has to do is provide the proof. But of course he refuses.
@@PaxAlotin The fact that the academic consensus is that Atlantis was a "fable" and that the "Greek" Titan Atlas came from Greek culture and was not an Atlantean king are just two examples of this amnesia. Ancient construction techniques were used to move blocks of stone that we would have trouble lifting today or would be impossible today are another example of this amnesia. In various countries around the world, irregularly-shaped stone blocks fit together like (earthquake-resistant) puzzle pieces. There is no workable explanation on how the pyramids were built from a mechanical standpoint of cutting the blocks to moving them. The sphinx has erosion in the pit around it (that the sphinx was found buried in) that took place prior to modern academia's date for its construction. Pyramids exist al over the world implying, suggesting, at minimum, a widespread cultural exchange in our past. Hancock doesn't have to make an argument. Academia has no understanding of the first two and explanation for the other points. It is because academia cannot explain the above (and other such similar points) that demonstrates that as a culture we have no understanding of various parts of our past, thus we have cultural amnesia of events before modern-recorded history. By the way I can't reply to you because UA-cam has blocked my comment below the next one that you make. I am not making a straw man argument. You are making an argument from authority, though. Please explain how the Greeks built and moved the Baalbek stones which weighed 800 tons each at least 500 years before the Romans were capable of moving stones approaching that weight. Please explain how the rectangular pit around the Sphinx suffered severe water erosion within the last 4500 years during a period of desertification and the fact that the Sphinx was found buried up to its head in sand when modern archaeologists first discovered it. Regrettably, you have chosen to believe what the mainstream tells you without being scientific enough to ask whether or not those conclusions were plausible. That's not science. That is what cultists do.
Absolutely amazing stuff. Saw this on Amazon, was blown away. Ya also gotta give it to Jimmy too though. He shined alot of light on the Atlantis being in the Sahara. And the original Visitng Atlantis documentary. These seminal works will go down in history. ATLANTIS HAS BEEN FOUND. I just finished. Damn, that guy don't like Jimmy Corrseti lol. Kinda threw some shade. He always gave Visiting Atlantis credit. But he went viral. Cant blame him.
Jimmy was the first to really give The location called The Eye of Sahara real scrutiny over a 2 year period. He did his homework. Checked many sources. But all you need is to see a picture from space of the location called The Eye Of the Sahara to know that was Atlantis. People knew but still kept it hidden. Like at NASA maybe? Jimmy wasn't the first to learn the location of Atlantis. He was just the first person to have enough balls to share that information with the Public. I'm still waiting for the news story of Jimmy's "disappearance" on his way to the grocery store. But until then I think Jimmy deserves the credit. I mean if Columbus can get the credit for "discovering America". lol
Jimmy has hurt himself by going too far off the deep end. To the point, he comes off as a charlatan. I do appreciate the attention he has further brought to the region. That area is a nightmare to study properly given it's in a war zone region plagued by political strife. "The risk is not worth the reward" has been the mentality of most when it comes to this subject. Jimmy had stirred up that pot enough, where some folks are now considering the risk. In the end, we only stand to benefit. Atlantis or not, the structure is intriguing from a historical perspective.
It's not been found yet. This is just another hypothesis that cherry picks details and leaves a lot of conflicting evidence out. There's much more to disprove the richat theory than there is to support it. Until we see ruins or artefacts, it will remain a mystery.
I absolutely enjoyed this entire documentary. Well done, produced and thought out. I especially enjoy the connection of the ending, pointing to the beginning. Thank You
Impressive research ! I watched the whole documentary in 4 parts because of the density of information. Merci et bravo pour ce voyage historique, archéologique et scientifique ! (Québec)
Randall Carlson provides the most concise interpretation of Plato's Atlantis which sites it exactly where Plato said it was. This doc'o chooses to ignore that Critias also states " for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent." Studies have discovered limestone shelfs and beach sand over a mile down off the Azores. The Azores sit at the point of convergence of the Eurasian, African and American plates which has been subject to massive isostatic movement. One would do well to not ignore geology.. or climate when attempting to decipher the past.
I’m particularly fond of how GK Chesterton described the discovery of the Maze of Minos built by Daedalus on Crete was like discovering the Tomb of Cinderella or the fossilized stump of Jack’s Beanstalk, like HARD evidence of a fairy tale!

they did address this, at the part where he stated "people used his work, without understanding the actual details" and "mentioning continent sweeping floods". I think they did this to acknowledge the Younger Dryas Ideas without seeming to be supportive of the theory(im pretty sure it is just a theory, as no real proof and validation of that idea has been accepted). Seems like they do this to support George and not back an opposing or opposite theory or idea.
@@nbarker20 The Younger Dryas marked the transition from the warm, interglacial conditions of the Holocene to a cold snap, which is thought to have slowed or reversed the melting of ice sheets from the end of the last ice age. This cooling event was abrupt, happening over a few decades or even centuries, which is why it’s so significant in both geology and human history. As for evidence, there’s a ton of it, and it comes from a variety of fields: Ice Cores: Ice cores from Greenland, like those taken from the GISP2 (Greenland Ice Sheet Project), show sharp drops in temperature and evidence of massive shifts in climate patterns. The ice layers preserved in these cores give a direct timeline of how temperatures fluctuated. Sediment Layers: In lake beds and ocean sediments, there's evidence of rapid cooling, with changes in the types of pollen and plant remains found in the sediment layers. These changes suggest significant shifts in vegetation and temperature. Carbon-14 Dating: Carbon-14 dating of materials from the period also suggests the cooling event was abrupt, with many species of plants and animals showing sudden disappearance around the same time. Impact Hypothesis: Some researchers, like Richard Firestone and others, have proposed that the Younger Dryas event may have been triggered by an asteroid or comet impact. Evidence for this includes the discovery of microscopic particles (like nanodiamonds) found in sediment layers from the event, which some interpret as being related to a cosmic impact. This theory is still debated but remains a compelling possibility. Archaeological Evidence: Human societies also show signs of upheaval. Some theories suggest that the sudden cold may have played a role in the decline of the Clovis culture in North America, though the specifics of this are still up for debate. So, the Younger Dryas is well-supported by evidence across multiple disciplines, though the exact cause and full impacts are still a bit of a mystery. Some theories point to dramatic environmental changes like melting ice sheets flooding into the oceans, others suggest cosmic impacts
@@mrcadoia i was assuming you were talking about the major flooding and global disruption that is often associated with that topic, and that being the cause of the Atlantean downfall. Ill admit I'm not as informed on the topic as i could be, so thanks for sharing that, wasn't trying to imply that the Younger Dryas wasn't supported by evidence.
Great analysis of those masterpieces of Plato's pfilosophy Critias and Timaeus! I think you are on the right path finding Atlantis capital. I may add another clue - the Carthage empire and capital city. The name Carthage means (new town) wirth the same concentric circles in the main harbor found only in the Atlantis story. I personaly believe that there are two civilizations that are discussed by Plato in his dialogues. One is Atlantis borrowed from the ancient Egypt myth and the other are the Menoans who faced similar faith but did fought with ancient Mycenea who are direct ancestors of the ancient Hellada. The other part of the dialogues that you didn't discus is discription of the Menoan society which is unmistacable.

For an advanced civilization, it seems strange there is so little presence of ruins or megaliths in or around the richat structure. If this is true, Atlantis seems to be a slightly more sophisticated Stone Age village
Until you look at the site from Google earth and realize waves the size of sky scrapers made those ripples in the sand and would have destroyed anything that was already there
Or maybe with the discoveries of so many sites all across the world far below sea level… Atlantis was many places…. A vast society… that because we focus only on the “1” location of Atlantis a much faster and more important discovery gets pushed back generations… hubris and pride are the downfall of all mankind… Jimmy… Graham… mainstream scientists and archeologists… all are to blame
@@joshbarrett9274 there is a 1.5 mile high sediment drop off at the Atlantic edge of Mauritania.... right where the water flow would have emptied into the ocean, would be interesting if we could have a look through that might actually find anything that got washed out there, but good luck & who knows :(
@@joshbarrett9274 _waves the size of sky scrapers made those ripples in the sand_ If the water came from the Mediterranean, the impact would have had to be very near the deepest spot, in what is otherwise a fairly shallow sea. And given sea levels (circa 10,000 BCE) were 40-60m lower than today, I wonder if there was even enough volume in the Mediterranean to generate the sort of waves you're suggesting. And that they had enough energy to inundate the top third of Africa? Tidal waves lose energy rapidly when travelling across land - the Richat Structure is about 1000 km from Italy. Also, you'd expect Europe to have been inundated as well, and there'd likely be clear geological signs. But they seem to be missing. For me, a more likely explanation is that rather than immense tidal waves, thousands of years of prevailing winds have generated the rippling patterns in the Sahara Desert.
This was very well done and incredibly informative. As a great lover of the Atlantis story, it’s hard to set aside long-held beliefs, but the scholarship presented here gives me layer upon layer of new information to contemplate. I’ll definitely be watching this again to make sure to get every morsel!
A very important Part of the Atlantis Research. Thank You! Slight Criticism: The Milos Map as well as Green Sahara Map do not have the 3000 / 9.600 BC Shorelines. The Island of Santorini is already destroyed, but was much bigger before the Eruption.
The argument of Atlantis being somewhere around the Mediterranean sea is brought down if we consider the South American legend of the people of the Island of Mud that escaped the flood and went West to the Americas and they were called Atl. This legend was not influenced by Plato but it corroborates it.
A work of marvel. Certainly holds the interest. I dont think there was much left out if anything. I agree with the Sahara as its been stated many times that it was flooded totally covered in water Some have seen it by remote viewing others from reincarnation An wonderfully informative documentary. Thanks kindly for sharing
Atlantis was in the America's. The Sahara was never flooded. Even if you poured the entire Mediterranean over it, it wouldn't be enough water to do what they said has been done. The 'ripples' are not from water.
I've heard from canalization of Edgard Cayce, about union of cultures with high technology, they explode, and fall down the Atlantic ocean. I'm not sure! But if we search about Lemurians, Fenicians, Asirians, Summerians, we could find some more parts of the puzzle! Great search! Thank for share! Aloha! Namastê! 🙏💜..💜💫
Great documentary! Using myth to teach in this way, with Plato's approach, reminds me of that famous quote, "History doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes."
If the sea level was considerably lower 12,800 years ago (and before), couldn't it be possible that more remnants (and structures) of this culture be found slightly off-shore to the west of the Richat Structure, and closer to the Canary Islands?
Thanks for the interesting, entertaining and thoughtful documentary. One important thing, the producers has missed to show correctly, is that their maps are showing today's world. The world's continents and oceans were different about 9,000 years ago than they are today. The sea level was about 100 meters lower. This meant that the coasts of the continents, and the cities of the people of that time, were located where there is sea today. Among other things, the Mediterranean was much smaller then. So you didn't have to travel so far on the then Mediterranean to bridge long distances. Europe of that time stretched north to the place where the North Sea meets the Atlantic today. That place is today referred to as the disappeared landmass "Doggerland". It is located about 100 meters below today's North Sea. Great Britain was then part of continental Europe. For those who want to learn more, please google the above information
Good stuff. Science and spirit are going to need to come together if we wish to reclaim lost history, though. In 1933, Cayce discussed all of this and more, including readings on people who fled during the cataclysms, as there were more than one. He also talked about the heights of the civilization, which includes lasers, masers, and flying ships - all in 1933, long before anyone knew to invent a laser. The Cayce material has proven to be true time and time again. But, at the same time, there are people who are suppressing this info.
My favorite part about the comment section is the majority completely dismissing the fact that the translations of Plato that have been used for centuries are about as accurate as the American Standard Bible. Even if you don't agree with the new translations presented in this documentary, it's pretty clearly established that huge mistakes were made, which totally invalidates all previous theories about where Atlantis is located.
Makes absolute sense. Aren't all great books to teach us about ourselves? If you read the Bible as metaphors and allegories then you learn about yourself as well. Civilizations rise and fall and each human is on a personal journey to discover who they are and how we are connected. Awesome documentary, thank you
Alantis is in the Atlantic, the Aztec creation story says their home was taken by the ocean when they arrived in Mexico they built their new home in the middle of a lake The Azores are probably the best candidate. Under water structures have been found. The island was twice the size before sea levels raised about 9,000 yrs ago
Totally agree. If it Atlantis did exist the azores seem to be the best candidate. These African/richat structure theories don’t fit Plato’s description at all

92,000 views in the first 24 hours for a movie with atlantis in the title? That's a great sign that there is a renewed interest in our deep past. Id bet if UA-cam was a thing 20 years ago this movie would not have gotten a fraction of these views with that title. Keep asking questions folks
49:03, you claim there's no evidence of agriculture. If a flood submerged the area for hundreds of years and the land transformed from lush green forests to arid deserts how much evidence of farmland would be left thousands of years later? And the Richat structure was most likely the center of Atlantis as it perfectly matches Plato's description, and that area is a completely dry desert now. To say there was no irrigation 9 thousand years ago simply because it was only found a "in a few other places''' ,is kind of ridiculous and doesn't prove anything.
Now you're thinking! The evidence for agriculture may indeed be out there; we simply chose to report on what has been factually proven to date on the various subjects (irrigation, agriculture, etc.) rather than speculate. It is entirely possible - indeed probable - that more discoveries will be made in coming decades. Some very interesting finds exist at Nabta Playa and in the middle east that suggest the process of domesticating plants may have taken place gradually over thousands of years, begging the question of just exactly when we should define such behavior as "agriculture." Keep questioning!
@dazpazaz You are certainly correct regarding lower ocean levels existing globally. The maps used in this film are rough schematic approximations rather than precise oceanographic charts or maps. However, do a little research into the Green Sahara, and you will find a plethora of scientific papers detailing the evidence of ancient paleolakes across North Africa - which of course changed in size and scope over thousands of years. We tried to approximate them as best we could based on the existing evidence. ResearchGate is a wonderful resource to start your journey. Happy hunting!
The NW part of Africa, the part where the Richat structure and Mauritania is was actually separated from the mainland Africa possibly up until 13000 years ago by an inland sea, making it a literal other continent.
I know it would be quite a task but I would love to see some archaeological digs around the Richat. The truth is very has been done there so we can only speculate and obviously there is evidence of habitation there already which is a good sign.
Great documentary. Thank you so much. I studied some Ancient History and have remained interested. I think it is sad that we have lost so much information to fires, floods and despots. I don't think we will never know the truth.
There’s quite a bit to consider here that’s been overlooked. Meltwater pulse 1A and Meltwater Pulse 1B, the liquefaction and melting of the great Laurentide, Cordilleran, Barents and Scandinavian ice sheets increased water levels worldwide by 125m or around 350ft. We actually use these dates as the definition line between the Pleistocene and Holocene and they are exactly in like with Plato’s accounts. Along with worldwide flooding, isostatic land movement - caused by the rebounding of depressed earth under the sheer weight of the ice sheets - meant the crust of the earth moved thousands of feet in both and upwards and downwards motion. We are literally seeing the Isle of White sink into the ocean as this occurs today. This is not conjecture nor the work of pseudoscience. It also does not discount the theories in this documentary. But you can deride others work as speculation and then provide a completely speculative account of events at the Richat Structure to support a hypothesis. It’s not eat your cake and have it to. Shame because I think it’s a disservice to the work of Georges work.
Gramhancock? You need to do some reading, mate: Rodney Castleden first suggested Atlantis was in Afriva 24 years ago. Anyone who's read Herodotus knows that this is obvious.
Having been to Santorini I have to says it's the most plausible origin for Atlantis currently. This hypothesis, I find unconvincing. For to many leaps of faith, ascertions inconsistent methodologies. What's really disappointing is that the documentary references critical thinking and yet the "sheople" on hear most are clapping like seals with not scepticism at all.
I tend to think the story of Atlantis was based on something real, simply because: How hard would it have been to be considered 'advanced' 12000 years ago? No one is saying they had crystal towers and flying cars. Just that they had better technology than the other stone age cultures surrounding them. Back then, it could have been something as simple as having the atlatl and maybe some decent boats.
It's an attractive idea, however we have no evidence to back up your "how hard would it have been idea". If you apply the merest critical thinking to this documentary, much of it falls apart.
I'd never heard of this researcher before but what a beautiful way to allow him to be commemorated while alive...his lifes work and journey. Great documentary!

The most impressive work about Atlantis by far.
So, maybe there was more structures in this area and just got washed into the Atlantic where there was a Hugh land slide around this same period.
yes but still wrong, nice try

@@AnthonyLeaman Your conclusions looks that you are the most dedicated in world.
Some scientists argue that there was a cosmic impact around this time frame in the geological record (with iridium and nano diamonds, just like the KT boundary had.)
A megastunami did hit W. Africa (and the Richat's region) within the last 12,000 years. If you'd like to refute that, please produce scientific findings that do so.
I love the objectivity and the serious approach to the subject. Most docs on Atlantis treat it as a real place, or set out with the intention of dispelling it as myth.

Atlantis certainly in the Atlantic.
Azores, Canaries & Cabo Verde are mountain tops of the great continent. This brings the Richat structure in to play as a possible site.

It would've been good to see Randall Carlson interviewed about George's theory as he's presented many in-depth lectures/presentations on Atlantis Origin stories in line with the Younger Dryas events that Plato's story managed to nail all but to the day.
Black Sea and Persian Gulf inundations also happened within these regionally located cultures' collective memories.....

This just about confirms what I had imagined was the case. Good work ❤ what a tragedy 😢

That’s how history and science and their research should be taught! The continuity of human thought is what Graham Hancock has been alerting us all in his books exploring the same subjects: “We are the species with amnesia.”
It's all bollocks just make it up as you fo along ..its good fiction not history..
I agree with you VeronicaThompson!

Wow! It makes absolute sense.
Do you not get the premise that translations are wrong?

Why is there no mention of Younger Dryas 9,600BC? Flood? It's like I'm in a parallel universe..
I'm guessing that would have been relatively gradual
they did address this, at the part where he stated "people used his work, without understanding the actual details" and "mentioning continent sweeping floods".
As for evidence, there’s a ton of it, and it comes from a variety of fields:
Ice Cores:
Ice cores from Greenland, like those taken from the GISP2 (Greenland Ice Sheet Project), show sharp drops in temperature and evidence of massive shifts in climate patterns. The ice layers preserved in these cores give a direct timeline of how temperatures fluctuated.
Sediment Layers:
In lake beds and ocean sediments, there's evidence of rapid cooling, with changes in the types of pollen and plant remains found in the sediment layers. These changes suggest significant shifts in vegetation and temperature.
Carbon-14 Dating:
Carbon-14 dating of materials from the period also suggests the cooling event was abrupt, with many species of plants and animals showing sudden disappearance around the same time.
Impact Hypothesis:
Some researchers, like Richard Firestone and others, have proposed that the Younger Dryas event may have been triggered by an asteroid or comet impact. Evidence for this includes the discovery of microscopic particles (like nanodiamonds) found in sediment layers from the event, which some interpret as being related to a cosmic impact. This theory is still debated but remains a compelling possibility.
Archaeological Evidence:
Human societies also show signs of upheaval.

@@joshbarrett9274 _waves the size of sky scrapers made those ripples in the sand_
If the water came from the Mediterranean, the impact would have had to be very near the deepest spot, in what is otherwise a fairly shallow sea.

The argument is that Atlantis the main city is the Richat Structure, so the idea that they fled west from there to the South America is plausible.
The fall of the Empire (10 Kingdoms) may include Azores and Bermudas, Caribbean and Outh American Outposts or Colonies.
That actually doesn't bring anything down. If anything it reinforces SA legends.

But, at the same time, there are people who are suppressing this info.
great documentary, love it👍
My favorite part about the comment section is the majority completely dismissing the fact that the translations of Plato that have been used for centuries are about as accurate as the American Standard Bible.
@@ciphon99it matches.
Some very interesting finds exist at Nabta Playa and in the middle east that suggest the process of domesticating plants may have taken place gradually over thousands of years, begging the question of just exactly when we should define such behavior as "agriculture." Sunken Azores are the probable location of Atlantis!
@@denniscrane9753 Atlantis is the key word there, Plato would not need to mention seas or oceans if Atlantis was in Africa.
Cuba is the last part of atlntis imo
The NW part of Africa, the part where the Richat structure and Mauritania is was actually separated from the mainland Africa possibly up until 13000 years ago by an inland sea, making it a literal other continent.
Well done! Amazing video & revelation. Thank you ❤
Myth does not equal fact.
Well done. Really made me think
George looks quite a lot like Plato!
"Let no one ignorant of geometry enter"
Great work George and great video thank you...
Thank you dear. It's my pleasure!
The best ever story about Atlantis' i admit that the myth of Atlantis is indeed an exaggeration of a very ancient civilization...
yep I love history fiction too..
@@AnthonyLeaman Again you gave your identity and conclusions.
This was a great watch. Very well articulated. Top work.
Good one, that you for sharing.
27:14 it really connects with what Gramhancok was saying about atlantis being in the north of Africa and the Chatts Lake being a ocean at that time.
Gramhancock? You need to do some reading, mate: Rodney Castleden first suggested Atlantis was in Afriva 24 years ago. Anyone who's read Herodotus knows that this is obvious.
Awesome!
Well done Jack, really well done.
It's Santorini. Crete sank and rose kicking off a terrible wave. Ended the age. The Odyssey is about the aftermath of this titan wave of 1177 BCE.
This was fantastic!!!! Great work!!!
I tend to think the story of Atlantis was based on something real, simply because: How hard would it have been to be considered 'advanced' 12000 years ago? No one is saying they had crystal towers and flying cars. Just that they had better technology than the other stone age cultures surrounding them. Back then, it could have been something as simple as having the atlatl and maybe some decent boats.
absolutely right ,,,
They had the globe mapped and had a system of lat and longitude. That is the minimum, but probably more advanced than just that.
It's an attractive idea, however we have no evidence to back up your "how hard would it have been idea".
If you apply the merest critical thinking to this documentary, much of it falls apart.
Absolutely fascinating!
