New subscriber here. I do this trick for my medium TWA and it works but I find that I need to spray to water and light rub of oil to get shine back and then fluff.
No, I did not. If it needs a little shine, I will add oil to my hands while I fluff! A little bit of oil will help break the gel cast so that it won't be stiff. I hope this helps! 💕

I do this but I always have to spray water or add a little more product to my hair because my curls get super flat and frizzy when I wake up T_T
