I got to meet Alex tonight at a Christmas concert she's touring with in the US and Canada. She's so sweet ❤ I made a fool of myself crying, but she was very kind.
I'm a huge fan of Celtic Woman but this is the first time I've heard Alex and I'm blown away. She is amazing! Her stage presence is strong, yet delicate, and her voice is beautiful. You can tell how much she loves being there. The dance was powerful, as well.

There is just something about her, that when she smiles, the world stops turning. And with that voice, the woman is a phenomenal artist. I'd really love to have seen her go to Mega Star status. She has everything it would take.

As a mother/grandmother I can understand very well that Alex made the choice leaving the group to be closer by her family, although it must have been very difficult for her to leave Celtic Woman because you can tell, by seeing her perform, that she's like to sing and she's doing it so very well ! I wish her (and all the ladies who left Celtic Woman) the very best ! Thanks for the beautiful songs you've left us !
Alex is my fav of Celtic Woman. she really shows passion when she sings..and really looks like she loves singing...... she also really dances and moves alot to the music too. you can see her musicality completely in her whole being..not just in that beautiful lyrical voice! love you Alex!
I saw Celtic Woman live in concert, last year. I was 17 then. This December I'm going again for their Christmas show. I wish more people my age would appreciate them as I do. They're so gorgeous. I miss Lynn and Alex :(

I like this cover version of the song. She did a great job. The Celtic women have great voices. Alex Sharpe, Lisa Kelly, Haley Westenra and all the others have such amazing voices. I enjoy listening to them.
This is by far and away the best rendition of this song that has ever been produced. When you see the tiny origin of this song in the Tarzan movie, you can hardly believe that it can be produced to this level of excitement and emotion. The only troubling fact for me is where am I to turn to for additional output by Alex Sharpe. She is just too excellent to accept that she might drop off the map. The CW group has dumped so many fine performers that the least they could do is share where the girls are going next. It really makes me angry.

until I heard this beautiful piece and Carolina Rua I was mourning the loss of Maeve and Orla. I have to admit the new ladies are lovely and gifted vocalists who bring a new vibe to Celtic Woman. It's not the same but it is still incredible. Whoever cast Alex and Lynn made two brilliant choices. Happily I remain a loyal fan of cast and crew, new and old.
By far the best and most moving rendition I've heard to date. I can only hope that Alex will go on to do a solo CD. She is far too talented to fade into obscurity.
