My husband passed 2 weeks ago. We used this song at his funeral service for 2 reasons: 1) it is so uplifting and 2) we had gone to 2 Celtic Women concerts and heard it live. Each time I hear it it bring tears to my eyes and strength to my heart.

Having watched the earlier versions, I have to respectfully disagree-- this is better. The harmonies are more advanced-- 3:12 and 4:23 are instant goosebumps. Meav's voice is so high and pure that it naturally dominates anything you put it next to. This iteration is a bit better balanced, I think-- the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

I had the pleasure of seeing these women in Grand Prairie Texas on their New Journey Tour. I have seen a ton of concerts in my time, everything from rock to country. These ladies take the cake! Amazing to see in person and they sound even better live. I thought at first that it was lip-sync but no way. Chloe would giggle after every song they sang and those mic were hot!!! If you ever get a chance to see them live, don`t miss them. They are worth the price of admission. I paid $75.00 a ticket back then and I would give $500.00 to see them again. This concert means everything to me. I wasn't there, but I recall watching the PBS special with my family on a chilly winter evening feeling safe and loved and inspired to become a singer. Even though God has blessed me on a different path, I still miss my family and this dream. It only took a couple of notes for this song to make me cry, and I rarely cry. Having watched the earlier versions, I have to respectfully disagree-- this is better. The harmonies are more advanced-- 3:12 and 4:23 are instant goosebumps.
Meav's voice is so high and pure that it naturally dominates anything you put it next to. This iteration is a bit better balanced, I think-- the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

The selection of song, the musical arrangement, the harmony, the choir, the orchestra, the special effects, the choreography - everything about it is unsurpassed! Celtic Woman look and sound like angels!
I had the pleasure of seeing these women in Grand Prairie Texas on their New Journey Tour. I have seen a ton of concerts in my time, everything from rock to country. These ladies take the cake! Amazing to see in person and they sound even better live. I thought at first that it was lip-sync but no way. Chloe would giggle after every song they sang and those mic were hot!!! If you ever get a chance to see them live, don`t miss them. They are worth the price of admission. I paid $75.00 a ticket back then and I would give $500.00 to see them again. Just all out very enjoyable time. Love me some Celtic Woman!
