After an exciting Songs from the Heart spring tour of 81 shows in the US, we've confirmed another 47 dates this summer in the US and in Canada(!!), and 10 shows in Australia as well! On another note, we have some sad news…our fabulous friend, and singer Alex Sharpe has decided to take a full time break and will no longer be touring with Celtic Woman. Alex will be truly missed

@MomMiriam1 I think that she has a beautiful smile and you don't have to watch her sing to know that she is smiling. It's in her voice. Alex is quickly becoming one of my favorites. She is wonderfully genuine. Not forced like some of the pop singers you speak of.
Here's a thought: Charlotte Church is from Wales..She would be a great addition to the CWs, if she hasnt burnt out her beautiful voice by now by singing all that Pop, that is...

Where is her award for this song ? This is beautiful and so is she. I think she should have got the Irish Music Award for Best Female Vocalist. Chloe Agnew won this time. Of course I like her too, but Alex is amazing !!
Barbara Foster I have all their albums in my media player. What I do is set her song up to play, then I go on UA-cam and find videos of homecoming soldiers meeting their newborns for the first time. I then mute the sound on the video and play this song instead. WARNING, have tissues near at hand!!!

I wanted to hear her more in You raise me up, too. I think her voice or singing is the most beautiful, most emotional, and most clear even among the four. I wonder why she is not active in the music industry.

I am glad that I got to hear her do this live before she left Celtic Woman. I was a bit surprised at first, as I thought I remembered the song from somewhere, and about halfway through it, I remembered the animated Tarzan. I loved her version, but I think that Lisa Lambe could do justice to the song should she ever decide to perform it.

They were front row (VIP section) center seats and after the show we all got to go meet the girls and have our picture taken with them (and I got to hug my little prancing princess, Mairead Nesbitt, the fiddler):-D

I love this Version here much more than the one from Phil Collins :D With me it is often, that I like the Cover more than the original, but it depends on who is doing the Cover :) Or how I was feeling about the Original :) For example there are many Sarah Brightman or Celtic Woman Covers that I didn't like the Originals at all, but their Covers I totally love
I don't understand why you even slightly challenge them saying the Phil Collins version better. When someone expresses their opinion they are not thinking if it its a great point to compare the two. They are just doing it because they can.
3 years late, sorry about that but the title is Songs from the Heart. You can get both the dvd and cd on Amazon. So worth the cost which isn't very much. It simply never gets old. I am on my 2nd dvd now.

Alex is one of the best vocalists ever to sing as Celtic Woman. The others, in my opinion, were Chloe, Lisa, Meav, Orla and Lynn.
