interesting, my x3 its opposite just bushing. im going to change it and pray i dont have to bust out my Etorx sockets for balljoint removal. looks terrible. worse than my e46's balljoints which were a nightmare.
Weird sound on the car while driving…you can feel it on the car too…check the rubber in the control arms or the “bushings” you can visually tell if they worn out or destroyed…. In my case lol
only the Meyle lasted. The generics were bad, had to replace after a short time. Meyle HD is fine. Seriously would not recommend the brand shown in the video other than the Meyle.
thanks for taking the time to indicate the sizes of all the fittings! Most people dont take the time to do so.
cách thay càng trước và kiểm tra hư hỏng của xe bmw 5,6,7 rất hay cảm ơn bạn chia sẻ

Great information...
greeting from Malaysia 🇲🇾
You made that look so easy lol hopefully goes this well when I do mine
Great video, thanks for sharing
The ones that connect to the shock is that called the thrust arm?
The video title refers to "BMW 5, 6, 7, X series". It would be REALLY helpful to specify which car was in the video (chassis, series, year).
Hey excellent video tutorial. Have you gotten a set of ratcheting wrenches.
no
Its amazing how the control arm just fell out of the knuckle or did you edit the banging and pounding
It’s not a tapered ball joint. It’s a straight shank. It will just push out easily
Wished mine came out that easy. :(
Hello, how to identify the part to buy at Autozone?

What were the symptoms on the car for you to change control arms?

Is it the same for a 2006 330i? Thanks !
Yes ;)
BMW has some of the stupidest engineering when it comes to almost any repair you have to disassemble half the car. Best tool a sledgehammer or a cliff
No it is not
@@MarcelHVAC yes I agree bmw sucks when it comes to repairing. And you better have the special tools. No bmw for me EVER!!!
no torque specs?
Meyle-crap.TRW or MOOG or Lemforder
I have found the Meyle HD is good. TRW did not last on my car. Lemfoerder - yes thats the good one!!
