Ya know i did replace my speakers with the same brand and brackets but forgot to get the harness so i had to splice it with the old harness... I want to use the harness you used..
Also you have your links mixed up... When I press your link for the wire adapter it shows the harnesses... I need the wire adapters... and it doesn't show Metra it shows by Red Wolf ??? and it says they do not fit my vehicle when I found your wire adapters under the Harness Link...
Thank you for the very clear video! I was able to remove the door panels without any issue. Two things I noticed on my install: 1. the existing speaker brackets all worked fine for the new speakers (once I peeled the old speakers off) so I didn't need them; 2. I'm not sure we need three-way speakers in that position as it seems the sound is separated by a crossover so the mid/high are coming out on top of the front dash and these two speakers are playing bass only? Regardless, they do a much better job than the existing speakers!
Hoping you can help. I also had to replace my front door speaker because I was getting barely any sound and whatever was coming out was muffled. I replaced it but it didn’t solve the problem. Could it be that I have to change the amp? Thanks for your help
I just got the alpine 6.5 r series the R2-S65C I’m waiting on Amazon to deliver the bracket I need ! I have a JL audio amp I plan to connect them too and I already replaced the rear speakers with 6x9 kenwood just the rear made a huge difference tho! Hopefully I’m up to this
Thank you a lot help with your video. Harness is too short when I received so that I bend the " - " connector 90 degree from the speaker. I will install rears in soon.
Did you have any bass with the stock speakers or these new ones? I just put new door speakers in mine, and also upgraded headunit, it’s new (to me) so I don’t even know if it ever had any bass. I may have done something wrong or the headunit needs adjusting but there is zero bass in this car. I’ve checked phase and that’s not it. Last car with the door speakers (same set I removed before I sold) has much better pressure, so I’m not sure if it’s the car or some sort of setting.
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm thinking of upgrading my speakers, but I don't want to change out my radio. That factory radio is good enough for me. Do you also have an amp in your car? Also, could you please tell us how tall both the stock and aftermarket speakers are?
Most of your sound comes from the front of the car, they are what sets the sound stage. I opted to leave the stock rear speakers alone for now. Maybe they’ll be the topic of another video in the coming weeks/months
@@SportFury1966 there is no crossover in between the door and dash speakers. The tweeters have a built in crossover for themselves but to my knowledge the door speakers get a full signal
Always appreciate someone who uses hand tools and doesn't immediately grab the impact drill. Great video, thx bud

9:46 What screws or fastens did you use to attach the speakers to the bracket?
Thanks for the great video!

Cut them and use the old wires

I have an amp for my subwoofer! But the door and rear deck lid speakers are running off of the headunit
Do I need to upgrade my amp with these speakers?
Is there a suitable 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY XLE FRONT PASSENGER DASH TWEETER SPEAKER Aftermarket or can you point me to it
Is the front speaker adapter the same for the rear deck speakers?
No they are different i just did mine on a 2008 camry the hardness is different aswell
Of course it's different
What size are the rear speakers?
6 by 9
Yup but the depth may matter in the front. Rear 6x9s have more magnet room I believe

More importantly the dash tweeters that are in parallel with the door speakers and not exactly plug and play due to a built-in crossover circuit.

What size speakers are those.
