Speed "Hack" for a Slow Self-Propelled Mower

In this video I increase the speed of my Yardmax self-propelled mower, which had started feeling a bit slower lately. Most self-propelled mowers have similar mechanisms as shown in the video to adjust the overall mower speed. I did run into a couple issues when making the adjustments that seem to limit the overall speed increase.
