  • Estate Cleaners eBay Store: stores.ebay.com...
    "What do you sell on ebay?" That's the question I hear most often, and probably the hardest one to answer. I thought maybe it might be a good idea to just show people what I sell.
    I'm a long time eBay seller sharing my experiences and knowledge and just plain dumb luck or lack thereof with the rest of the reselling community. I fell in love with this game back in the late 90's and discovered eBay in 99.
    At one time I had an eBay store named Old Paths Books and Collectables that at its height had over five thousand offerings in inventory. Then came the Great Recession and the market all changed and so I've had to change with it.

    Always fill your void! I'd put crushed paper in the top bowl.

      I never felt comfortable with the big bubbles. They always seemed to leave small areas open. Probably wasnt using it right. Its been a long time. That said, if I got a super sweet deal on it, Id have no aversion to using it.

    HI Dave! Thanks so much for doing this video! I've got 4 small breakable bowls I have to ship out Monday, and I was wondering how I was going to stack them without them breaking. I never would have thought to cut the slits in the cardboard like that. Thank you again, you're a lifesaver! Love your videos, keep up the good work!

    Loved the video, sending out a set today. Wanted to see how loose it was in box. 🤔
    Did all the other steps. Just pray it gets there all in four bowls. 🙏

    Or - if on a budget/want less plastic waste in world - wrap initially with bubble wrap, then create a mid-layer of crumpled newspaper within a paper or plastic bag - insert bowl/s into that, finish with another layer bubble wrap, pack in box filled with dense crumpled newspaper.

      You should do a video of that process. I’m having a hard time picturing it.

      As a constant shopper of vintage dishes like these. The way Dave wrapped it is what keeps me buying them from sellers that know how to insure their safe arrival. I purchased 4 bowls in pink and the seller wrapped it exactly the same. I was so impressed they arrived beautifully. The handles are crucial to not getting smashed in transit. I recommend a box within a box. I send this link to seller's when I buy large quantities as an fyi with an apology for being so obsessive...lol. Only cause I had a dish mailed in a take out box. My comment to them was ...really...
      Your video was spot on.

    I am selling the Amish Butter Print Cinderella bowls too and I'm scared how to get them all to the buyer in one piece.
    So great, thank you!

      Keep em tight. You don’t want them vibrating if you can help it. Double box

    Any tips if they have lids?

    • @EstateCleaner
      @EstateCleaner  3 роки тому

      I’d do the same with the bowls and something similar with the lids. I’d box the lids together before putting them in with the bowls

    What size of box would you used for a full set Cinderella Mixing Bowls? I have a few sets to get rid of but always been a little scared of shipping them.

    • @EstateCleaner
      @EstateCleaner  3 роки тому +2

      I’d start with a 12x12x9. May frankenbox it with another if the bowls are too high. Then I’d double box with something big enough I could get some packing foam or peanuts all the way round the inner box.
