I visited Kettering a lot , that first charity shop you can get good gems, the is one more charity shop you both missed, cancer foundation, just down the street to the left from that last charity shop you went in 👍
Next time you are in market harborough, you got kibworth village, 5 miles away, Main Street, you got two charity shops there , real good prices there 👍

That enables you to scan an object and filter to recently sold items. From there I quickly analyse it and see if it’s worth me buying to resell for more. I hope that helps

My local charity shop sells anything with a name on it for inflated prices so 5 China tea cups and saucers I saw recently they had £25 on them 😲 they have old knitting patterns mostly 80s used to be 5p now 20p I found a very old one from the 50s that one was £1 ok not a deal breaker but still feels unfair when it's all donated. They know people resell so increase the prices
Blimey! Those tea cups are expensive. But I’ve found China sets are always more expensive. Think this is due to a lot of working assuming it’s expensive by the look so they price it high

I know plenty of people that are well off and still shop in charity shops, and people shop in charity shops for all different reasons the idea of a charity shop Is raising money for charity, so the customers money is going towards charity so what that person then decides to do with those items is completely up to them they have paid for them items.

@@andrewthomas2406 That doesn't make sense. The person buying is donating. Once something is sold, it's entirely up to the buyer what they do with it. Besides, charity shops are limited by what people are willing to spend in their locale, and also by space. They have to move stock in order to have room for new donations. If people in that area won't buy at higher prices, the shop becomes unprofitable, can't move goods through and can't do fresh displays. Unsold items end up going to the Rag man or the recycle depot.
Normally all charity shops take card. I never carry cash. But I happened to have £10 in my wallet. And she was more than happy to let me have it for £10

I filter them on eBay to see recent solds. Then I also look on google lense. That helps
