I only discovered the channel today. I watch a few of videos and it's all good. I'd like to see how the Golf turned out.. The red Ford Focus in one of the other videos was really cool. I wish more channels had these styles of cars.
A good windscreen bond is what is needed to stick it on. Not 3M tape. When was the last time a windscreen bounced out while driving? Here in Northern Ireland windscreen bond has been used for side skirts for decades
you could always unwrap the door and glue the piece to the painted door. Keeps water out from inside the wide body and will stay on the car. I feel like the 3m could lose its stick when the weather changes from cold to warm. Something to think about
Yes I agree, the kit was intended by the creators to be panel bonded. But I want removable panels since I wrap my car. I will be using some sort of edge trim to help seal it, wether it be silicon or a rubber fender trim
Why don't you just stick the door kit pieces on with some more toothpaste? You use that *bleep* everywhere on this build. I say go for it - Yeah Toothpaste!
