I've fibreglassed the floor and half way up the van walls so it's totally tanked so if the worse happened any water won't get into the cab. Don't get a van kit, you'll be charged a fortune. Get a flat roof kit, same kit at a fraction of the cost.
Hi Rob, they are supposed to hold using suction cups inside the tank but mine don't they just float to the bottom and seem even more effective like that
Hi I've just bought 1 of them water heaters.jyst wondering is your water from the tank going through a di vessell aswell if so how did you go about this.
@@Darren-Green thank you.i wonder if I had my heater at the end of the di vessel before it comes out the hose for pole would it work.as in if I put pipe from di vessel into cold water connection on heater then run another pipe from hot connection into my reel.?
Hi Darren what kind of company fitted your metal plate you have your water heater ect screwed to? Was it just a metal fabrication firm or somebody similar?
Green Pro Clean Ltd I’ve got a type of space blanket wrapped around my tank. It’s expensive but very thin so is easy to fit behind panels and has a high insulation value. It’s at the end of my immersion heater video if you want to have a look
Before I had a drive I lived in a terraced row. I fed the cable from the house out the letterbox and weighted it down each end with house bricks and road cones. NOT THE SAFEST plan but luckily got past two winters incident free. Oh... except one road cone still MIA.
Great tips 👍😊
Thank you David.
Great set up superb👍🏻
Nice set up ✌😉🤙

If you put a small fountain pump in your tank, it will help raise the temperature and it will be even throughout the tank

Hi there
What size is the tank? Just get a tap water or pure water from supplier?
Thanks
That tank is a custom 800L from WaterWorks. The water is purified in my garage then transferred to the van.
Hi Darren can you use antifreeze in your water for the winter months
Iso propanol. Medical alcohol. 99.9% reads TDS 000. 1 litre per 1000L about £5 per L of ebay.
@@Darren-Green cheers Darren I'll check it out 👍

alistair sneddon did it myself
Is your van leased or bought? I ask as if leased I wouldn't think you could do all the upgrades but I probably wrong I normally am
Steve Hughes My Van is owned. Don't see the point in leasing. You pay almost same monthly that you would on HP and own nothing at the end of it.
Hi Darren. What are you planning to use to insulate the van with
Squeaky Clean Dave not 100% sure yet. Needs some more homework first.
