Hi Darren great video. Just a quick tip you might like, I have a straight push fit connector either side of the uni valve. Then if anything did go wrong with the uni valve in the middle of the working day just disconnect take out the uni valve and reconnect the hose and carry on working.
They're called double ear o clips. I'm hoping to get a couple of uni-valves from the window cleaning show, think they sell them cheaper there. Thanks for the info in this video, will use this when I get mine. If I see you at the show Darren, can I get an autograph? 😂 Rob.
@@Darren-Green I found they wear out quickly too, so i switched to mini cable ties and there still going strong after 3 years and they eliminate damage.
Great tip but the clip dose slip over time so I Wrap a bit of tape round the hose just before the clip and this helps. I've tried the little piece of plastic which works but the tape is better
Thanks for the Vid mate. Just installed one. Are you overseas for good now - knew you’d moved off to Phillipines? I’m Aus but lived london few years back - seems Brit’s are leaving UK in their droves….I think many, due to the changing face of Brittan…unfortunately by a certain demographic 🙄 - I was shocked just how many of them seem to be in the UK now. Makes me cry for my British ancestry even though I wasn’t born there
I’ve just seen the video for the waterworks power up IQ. Combine this with a Gardiner extreme pole and it’s the best set up ever. I’ve been waiting for a long time for someone to make this and it’s exactly how I imagined it would be. Can not wait. Any idea if you need to buy the whole set up including the tank or can you just buy the reel and add the set up to an existing system. Also any idea on price?
Lee Debo it's still in development but I will keep you posted on it. Hopefully before xmas. No idea on price yet as Jordan still has quite a bit of refining to do.
Sorry to Steve Jones for calling him Scott. It's Steve at Exceed Innovations guys. Will do a correction after work tonight.
Keep going Sir, there’s new entrants to the market every day, 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you mouse.

yep, this is the method I use, my son showed me when I bitched about it to him, lol, 'o' ring been on now 12months + no slipping....brilliant tip.

Rob.
The o clip was the original way Steve used before he created the plastic slip stop thingy. Good vids though Darren I like them, keep it up.
Salty McSaltee I never knew that. Thanks for the info.
Great idea & sound advice. Great content for people like me who is looking to offer WFP as well... 👍
Awesome idea crimping the top of the pipe...mine is always popping off and falling out the pole....I'll be doing this tomorrow
Hi Darren rather than metal crimps i have used cable ties much easier to fit and also remove if needed.
I hve done this myself in a pinch but find that the zip ties wear and leak a lot sooner
@@Darren-Green I found they wear out quickly too, so i switched to mini cable ties and there still going strong after 3 years and they eliminate damage.
Really enjoy the content and love the uni valve

Yes I have found slippage to be the case too, I also will tape between clip and t-fit
Thanks - was wondering what to do with that 3rd o ring
Glad this helped

It wasn't the plan but over the 2 years lockdowns here and observations of the UK now it has become so. UK is not at all British anymore.
What does the UnI Valve do and what are the benefits from it ? ( Sorry I could not understand it exactly )
It's basically a 'pull operated' tap. You tug the hose and it sets the valve to on position. Tug again and it shuts off the flow.
Hi Darren I'm thinking of buying one of those but not sure if I should get the one shot controller or not what do you recommend cheers nick 👍
Darren its made by Steve Jones by Exceed Inovations
Hello mate ,,what pole is that please ??? Ian
Gardiners Extreme

👍🏻
what kind of tubing is this exactly thats connected to the univalve?
6mm PPE
A have a back pack system.... does it harm the motor when stopping the flow ?
Sean Leyden I honestly don't know mate. Best ti ask the place you bought the back pack from.
Green Pro Clean Ltd it’s the facelift big boy back pack
Never had one mate. Best bet is to call Window Cleaning Warehouse to find out.
Better ask, but I would say no, my motor stops working and starts again when water runs normal, got a streamline but I guess its the same thing
Hi Darren. What kind of jets you've got and what kind of brush is it?
Thanks in advance.
Hi where can I get one
Follow the link in the description
They are great but sometimes I find myself pulling on the hose Iike a madman, to get the fecking thing to turn off ! 😣☘️
If it's an older model this can happen. Might just need an overhaul. I believe they sell a service kit on the website.
@@Darren-Green All sorted mate. Back to stress free water stoppage 😎
