Ive only just started moving some plants into pon. Starting with some philos. It was quite nerveracking making the move. Grateful to have found your channel.....bit of local content is brilliant.
I started growing some of my orchids indoors in leca and it took me some trial & error to get things working well for me so now i’ve just started putting some houseplants into leca as well because I bought a very large bag of it. I have used syngoniums which are going very well and one spider plant which is going super well compared to another one that is in aroid mix. I love the leca because it’s so clean to work with compared to soil. I hope to be getting some new Hoyas this weekend and when we go into spring I’ll be putting them into leca as well. Thanks for sharing this video, I’m always interested to see how others go about the transition into S/H. Cheers.
Thank you for your lovely comment! It most definitely is a clean and easy way of growing aye! I haven't got too many plants in semi-hydro setups yet but the ones that are, are doing well.
Great Video 👍....thanks for sharing this Semi Hydro conversion. Looking forward to giving this a go ☘️🌿 Would you recommend waiting till Spring or is any time of year fine?
Have just shifted my calatheas to Leca as I cannot get them to thrive in soil. Doing well so far, hoping my orbifolia ends up looking like Nora’s (Leca Queen). Your peace lily looks beautiful.
Oh they should.love that because they prefer a bit more moisture then usual aye. I'm not a huge calathea fan because I find them too fussy haha but they are such beautiful plants

Spring is prob the best time to minimise the risks but if you are confident then anytime is fine :)
