I mean if you go rambo you'll get more kills and way higher score due to being on the cap. anthony and other good players get more kills rushing rather than going to 'known good' camping spots. but using camping spots off the cap is often the best way to get a ticket win, and is basically a good idea in any campaign

One dirty trick one used to pull is to sneak by the next to last objective on Saigon as the VC commander, shimmying up the gutters on the front of the palace building and chucking in all the rice farmers on the top of the roof as it becomes captureable. It's nasty.
Just because you talked about tunnels, in Demilitarized Zone you can just place tunnels (expecially when defending) just on almost every goddamn wall in the tunnels themselves like a 4th dimentional tunnel, IN A BIGGER TUNNEL and those have almost nothing to do with defended area, you can litterally respawn under B in one of the many tunnels...
Also there's another movie about zig zag running called apocalypto, there were 2 tribes men ran in zig zag pattern to avoid arrows shot by their executioner
Another point, zig zagging is NOT optimal in real life. You cannot rapidly change the direction while in full sprint like in a video game, and it just exposes the time that you're left exposed to enemy fire overall. It's like how running in rain gets you more wet than walking in rain, you're just running into more places that rain can be in shorter amounts of time.
I once planted a trap behind enemy spawn points and camped there so when I died some idiot is gonna scout around to find any other of my squadmates which is false. Fella ended up killed by my trap and said "Of course the freaking VC planted a trap" 1 for 1. KEK

i´ve played too much rising storm 2 vietnam than i already memorized the maps (only the common ones like Cu Chi or Hue city)
