Get well soon! It was good to see your post. Most people who are sick just want to crawl into bed and do nothing but sleep. Well, at least that's what I do. Kudos to you for not just filming, but drawing as well!

When me and my family had Covid (all 4 of us at the same time), the house was like a war zone, people passed out in every room. I was the one who felt the least ill, so I would do things like do the dishes and periodically walk around the house to see if anyone needed anything. It was a difficult experience. My dad felt the worst and we were very worried for him because he also has ashtma. But everyone was ok in the end. It was just a long recovery process. Long story short: don't push yourself too much. Take your time recovering. We can wait until you feel better. ♥
Sleeping and generally resting is the best you can do during going through covid. It helps you heal faster and more efficiently, as well as protects you against any further complications. On that note, I would highly recommend resting up still after you start feeling better. Covid puts a lot of strain on your heart and circulatory system. Thanks for the update video!

When I had Covid I basically slept for three weeks. I was sooooo tired. Other than that I felt like I had a mild cold....Recovered fine thereafter. I hope you fell better soon. I enjoy your piggy coverage--I am allergic to guinea pigs (but not to anything else, go figure) so I get to see them without the swollen eyes. :)

When I had the cucumber about a year ago, I was really tired all the time, and had serious muscle weakness. It's very nice of you to still make a vlog even when your sick, but don't ever feel like you have to. Focus on getting well.

Fr, when i had covid i could not get out of bed. I was so tired and miserable that i would wake up and sob from how crummy i felt and then fall back asleep. Good for adam for being able to get up and do anything
Adam! you goof, of course you're feeling sleepy and lazy all day, your body is using so much energy to fight off a fever and germs, recovering is so physically exhausting!! there is no need to feel guilty for feeling sluggish, your worth is not defined by your productivity!!

My mum has some rats and they eat their slices of cucumber like watermelon, it's so cute. They always leave the skin of all things, peas, carrots etc. Your piggies are so sweet, and hope you're well soon.

When I had COVID I had really bad muscle fatigue. I honestly didn't have much of a cough and thankfully I never lost my sense of smell or taste. I was also on my period when I got it so that sucked. I slept a lot and I didn't have much of an appetite but I was lucky that my symptoms weren't worse

I've had covid twice - first time was about 2 weeks in bed (and another week on top of that with more symptoms), second time was a bit less than that. Please rest adamo and dont feel any pressure to do anything but eat and sleep and hydrate:)

@@DoodleDate hahaha you can alleviate that boredom with things that bring you joy with no pressure at all :) you can take it as an excuse to do the non productive energizers if you want (like playing games or watching movies). Hope you recover well (and that Steph dodges it)!

My first experience with covid was awful.... I lost my taste and smell. There was pain in my joints and terrible headaches. Along with a nasty cough and it was hard to breath. The fatigue was pretty bad too.

Hello to my fellow sickie Adam! I have a really bad cold at the moment, my ears are all plugged up and I can’t hear very well. 😭 It’s not nearly as bad as when I had covid in February, though-I had that exhausted, heavy feeling in my arms and legs like you get after running for a long time, and it would just. Not. Go. Away. My main memories of that time are of sleeping a lot, guzzling down cup after cup of hot tea, and one glorious night when my head was suddenly clear and I had a great journaling session at like 2 in the morning, blasting my music (with my headphones on, because everybody else in the house was asleep, of course). X^)
Please try not to feel bad about your productivity, Adam-taking care of yourself, especially when you’re sick, is the right thing to do! When I had covid, I think I was just taking over-the-counter cold medicine for the symptoms, but I’m sure getting plenty of sleep was what helped the most.
Sorry Steph, but raisins are nasty. There’s a line in the movie _Benny and Joon_ where Joon says “raisins are grapes that have been horribly tortured” and I think she’s correct. I do like dried cranberries (or “craisins”), though. Can you get those in the UK? IMO the _real_ “nature’s candy” is rhubarb, but even then that’s after it’s been put into a pie or a crumble or something. X^D

I love the little backstories you make for your drawings, Adam! Rolf the prehistoric berry is pretty great but my favorite in this video has to be the alley cat exposing herself. 🤣 I hope she can pull her life back together and be rehabilitated.

Still catching up. Loving the Vlogs and all the guinea pig updates. Thanks Sam for that amazing Mushroom-hat. When I bought the Rona I was just kinda tired and achy, spent most of my time just sleeping and feeling sorry for myself, mainly because I just felt like I had a cold and couldn't go to work despite it. It is great that you work from home and can still be productive in this time but I hope Adam still takes some time to get better.
I had covid back in October and was really unwell. I was throwing up, I couldn't stand up or get a bath, I was in bed for basically a month, ended up in hospital and lost loads of weight :( luckily, I'm on the mend now haha. I hope you're feeling better soon Adamo

I haven't had the Scary C, but it does wipe folks' energy out from what I've heard. Also heard that resting as much as possible reduces chances for ending up with the Long C symptoms, too. Get lots of rest, Adamo! Also, been enjoying these vlogs!

I had COVID back when it was the delta variant. I think the body aches were the worst part until mine became pneumonia and I had to spend a few days in the hospital. They gave me D3, zinc and vitamin C. I hope you feel better soon.

I recently broke up with my partner of three years so seeing a silly little vlog and both of you being wholesome and happy really makes me feel a lot better. I've had covid twice now and the first time I had a massive fever and felt awful for three or four days. The second time wasn't as bad. The vaccine had me laid up for a while too, but I'm glad I got it.
patches is an absolute UNIT. Adam's sick week is my every week. If i get sick I think i'll fossilize. I have copied Steph's idea with a sticker prompt art journal for my lovely, which is great, because i never know what to use my stickers for. I'd fight that beaver, Adam! I'd punch a beaver in the face.

I hope you feel better soon Adam, I caught Covid back in 2020 and it suuuuuucked. I remember feeling too hot and too cold, everything ached, I can't remember how well I could hold my food down, but I mostly had liquids, mainly tea, a lot of tea. All in all, it's not fun, my time with it was miserable, and now whenever I get sick my first thought is "please, not again."
Take care both of you, hope things get better, make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest ^_^

Wow, you're doing great for having covid. (on the other hand, it's much milder than it was--now it's just another flu, basically) When I had it the first time (I think), that was perhaps the sickest I've ever been. I didn't need to be hospitalized or anything; I was just a very weak, miserable person. I was in bed for days, but hardly sleeping because of the cough... (and therefore propped up, making the achiness worse, lol). I ended up sleeping sort of diagonally.
Anyway, I still love the idea of making your own prompt book by slapping stickers in a sketchbook... I might have to do that, even though I don't have a man to draw things based on said stickers
The cost of the P.O. box was startling. Depending on the situation, they can be free, but on average cost between $4.75-6/month, at least in my area. I remember getting a P.O. box for free while in college.
I may make some Rolf fan art, also I know how much COVID sucks, had it last year during Finals week. Hopefully Adam feels better, it can really sap ones energy. Other than that, great video! Love the art!

For somebody who has had Covid recently for the fist time, you should never feel bad for taking the time to get better. Saying that, I put a mask on and went in to work anyway. Felt shitty but still did it. That's how we roll in France ATM.

Paint palette!
I did end up getting sick, I think that was last year. It wasn’t the worst while I was sick. Headaches and fevers but definitely not the worst flu I’ve ever had. It took a long time to recover fully from the low energy and brain fog though oh and I was short of breath frequently without exerting myself. Then on top of that I lost my sense of smell temporarily and then smelled phantom smoke for about a month. Now I think I’m extra sensitive to smoke smells because ill notice them before other people and sometimes after others will say it’s gone (could be phantom smell again but it doesn’t linger as long anymore or happen as frequently.
I thought Steph said “want to see a pic of me as a baboon” 😭😂
