@@ThePunikaTV Gale is a piece of shit. He could probably get a job anywhere but no he decides to work with gangs that murder people and ruin lives. There's never an excuse he deserved to die along with everyone else.
@@ThePunikaTV you can, only because all the people he's contrasted with are also in the drug trade. He ended up just being a pawn in Walt's and Gus' chess game, and Walt needed to sacrifice that pawn to save his King.
By entering the drug trade you enter a world of anarchy.
Anarchy is no excuse for murder though.

Everybody knows that yet they still do it for the love of money, Gale was no different just because he was liberal and soft spoken doesn't make up for him using his talents to produce for a murderous drug lord. He knew what he was doing, he wasn't an oblivious sweetheart lol.
What's so fucked is that Gale, from his perspective, really had no idea why anyone would want to kill him. in his mind he probably thought he was doing a good job minding his own business.
His entire life was being a cook for cartel, he should've known what kind of people he was dealing with.

Aaron Paul won an Emmy for this season. From all the tv shows that i've watched, Breaking Bad has by far the most talented cast. Followed by Mad Men. (IMO)
Agree with this totally. Even the most hated characters in this show are perfectly cast, so believable and incredible to watch.
And Mad Men, absolutely. I'm re-watching that series for the third time right now (I'm obsessed) and still as blown away as ever by the acting.

Whoever wrote the dialogues on the show, i'd like to buy that person a drink and make her my friend. I'm thinking about re-watching too, what episode are you on?
Mad Men is way too slow for me to rewatch. But the dialogue is very good at times.

LMAO come on guys this situation was clearly all on jesse. Yes combo getting killed i can understand jesses anger. But jesse going head to head with a fucking kingpin and going against his orders was a massive mistake on jesses part and put walt in an unwinable situation.
I remember when I watched this show for the first time. I knew it was great just from the first few seasons. But after this particular episode.....Breaking Bad became my favorite.
I'm looking forward to seeing their face, next ep.
This is a really nice 3ep run, on a show where every ep is entertaining, at the least.
Everybody always feels so sorry for Gale, yet he was fully willing to let Gus kill Walt and then take his place. Gus made his intentions very clear during their conversation and Gale got it, which is why he said he'd only need one more cook with Walt. He was hardly an innocent man, and that's before even getting into him being a meth cook in the first place. He got what he deserved really... even if Walt deserves no better.

Gale is pretty educated and intelligent. He knew what he was doing. he was a proud libertarian, that believed adults had the right to choose to do whatever drugs they wanted and live with the consequences. He got his own consequences.

I fucking love the scene with Gus. So many people think that Gus trusts Gale completely but that entire scene is actually Gus just fucking threatening him in a non-threatening way. Fucking brilliant.
Gale was not naive. Gale knew exactly what was going on. If you couldnt tell that he knew gus was going to kill walt then im not sure what youcwere watching. Gale went along with the plan to kill walt. Gale is not innocent. Gale deserved what he got.

He was literally living just so he could cook for Gus and he had no problem with Gus killing Walt and taking over the lab... Yeah, he didn't deserve anything.
also re: Gale's innocence - I liked Gale as much as the next person but he also knew that Gus was trying to get rid of Walt and he was smart enough to know that in the drug game, to get rid of someone means that they ain't leaving alive. only a couple of scenes prior to him being shot by Jesse, he was plotting with Gus on how to learn Walt's recipe so that he could replace him. he knew it was only a matter of time before one of them had to go so he wasn't exactly in this whole thing as folks are making it out to be.

The worst thing about the death of Gale, is he understood what was happening, and did everything to give Walt more time. Asked for more cooks with him, then intentionally acted as tho he didn't fully understand the methods. He was truly an ally to Walt in every way, he just understood if he refused to take over, Gus would kill him instead. He is probably the closest to a "good guy" involved in the trade so far in the show. No matter how much you want to root for Walt and Jesse, they are not good men.

Just found out his best friend was shot and killed by his girls 11 year old brother, listens to Walt and Gus and ends up seeing the kids dead body, on the run from a drug lord who has eyes everywhere and now is forced to killl an innocent guy he hasn't ever met. Easier to blame someone than to understand what they're going through

After sending balloons into the power lines, Mike dispatches, with a single bullet, the two cartel enforcers who rush outside to investigate the sudden loss of power.
after you guys finish the show you should watch the Malcolm in the Middle twist ending to breaking bad I think youd enjoy it

This episode made me really like Saul (I already liked him, but like they said, he's not just a dirtbag and he DOES care about Walt and Jesse's lives, protecting Jesse from getting hunted by Mike), and it made me both hate and love Walt. He should've just gone to the police. Gale didn't deserve to die for his mistakes. But when I thought he was gonna sell out Jesse I lost all respect I had for him, but then when he didn't sell him out and went all Heisenberg on Mike's ass I really solidified my respect for him. What he made Jesse do was absolutely horrible, but under the circumstances, and compared to giving up Jesse, it was the... best... option. (I still hate it I loved Gale)
While Walt breaking bad, Jesse breaking good. He obviously didn't want to kill Gale, but Gus would've killed him and Walt once Gale got Walt's formula. Was there another way to handle that situation? Maybe, but was there time to find another solution? Probably not.
