Saul's casual "How about terrorism" was so good
Saul is the best character besides Jesse imo
I first noticed Bill Burr on Chappelle's Show. His stand ups are amazing. He's also a frequent guest on Conan. The dude is very blunt and honest!
“I don’t think Gus would go after Skyler, and the kids” Nahid looks at the camera 😂
5:10 Hanna: "Marie is not stealing anymore, she's not lying anymore."
Marie *goes on to steal and lie in literaly the next scene she's in*
Correcting rocks to minerals just shows such respect for the character and show haha
And yet they still refer to Mike as "Pop Pop"
@@Jeremy-jm3fe I think every reactor has his on way to call him
Lmao I was thinking the same shit! Hannah you’re amazing!
I love Bill Burr in this episode.
The Joker: "I'm crazy enough to take on Batman, but the IRS? No thank you!"
Purple
Lol I recently got that video in my recommendations
@@Jeremy-jm3fe Me too!
Hannah and Rana's period talk was strangely hilarious
Yh was totally out of the blue
It was very awkward
It wasn't awkward, it was ridiculous. To infer that having a natural female bodily function is somehow a legitimate reason for wamen being a good criminal is fucking unbelievably nonsensical.
@@aresaraya2324 calm down, grumpy pants
@@aresaraya2324 its feministic brainwash ego nonsense
Of all the characters' interactions on the show, my favorite is Skylar and Sal. The two of them have such great chemistry and their characters play off of each other so well. I wish they had more scenes together.
Skyler kinda has the Kim Waxler vibe
10:34 - "Hey, nobody appreciates a passionate woman more than I do."
Yeah, like Kim Wexler (Nahid and other "Better Call Saul" fans will get this).
Saul did Kim so dirty. Obviously since we never see here here shes going to be gone for good.
What? Saul was not talking about Kim. Remember, he slept around a bunch of times before he started dating her.
@@Jeremy-jm3fe She was a passionate, hardworking woman thats what the comment is about
@@greentaigo2552 To me, it sounded like he was talking about random sluts he fooled around with. If they're sex-crazed, I can see why he'd call them "passionate". Not everything that Saul says has to be tied into BCS, he even had two wives before then.
@@greentaigo2552 and "with the right amount of dirty"
There is color symbolism in this show but you focus on it wayyyy too much. It doesn't always mean something. Don't let it distract you.
^ what he said
the problem is more that they don't really know what the colors actually mean and are just guessing and then making wrong assumptions based on what they think they mean.
Purple, blue, pink, orange, red, yellow, green, black, white, grey! :D
Purple stands for Royalty, nobility, honor and *arrogance* (and many other things). So yeah.
I got distracted by it during the show too
I have been watching Better Call Saul lately ( I'm up to season 3 episode 5) and I do recognize who this "Saul Goodman" is...the character development is just amazing
Northside Baller season 4 is amazing
@@mario_gabriel Season 5 is even better
Dario Vaccaro I agree, it has been amazing
@@dvaccaro96 espetacular
Skyler is right. Even the Joker fears the IRS.
You guys are really overthinking the colors lol
Lol yep
Purple, blue, pink, grey, orange, yellow, black, indigo, white, etc.
@C Hosey Tuco doesn't care about the colors , be like Tuco.
Youcef You You tight! tight! tight!
I actually think they're on to something. Like yeah maybe sometimes it's just random colours. But on the other hand.. it's just really convenient how each character has a specific colour in every shot
"There are so many chairs, pick one!" Is the best thing I've heard in a while.
"There are so many chairs, PICK ONE." Oh I felt that....
Bob Odenkirk in that scene, where Saul tries to sell them on various nefarious schemes, is like a character from an old-time musical. Harold Hill from The Music Man, or something. The suit, the gestures, the smooth delivery of his shtick... I don't think Odenkirk sings, otherwise he'd be so great in that sort of role.
The color purple has many meanings it's mostly related to royalty and luxury but it can also be pride and power. all of those can be linked to Walt who is very prideful and desires power where as Jesse is seeking an escape from his own trauma via luxury i.e partying
Hannah with that period joke lmao
I think purple is Royal. Like Marie has dreams of a condo in D.C., Walt thinks of himself as a master criminal at war with Gus, Skyler starts to feel the need to be more than she is.
12:55 I don't know why but thats is my favorite scene in the entire show.
Shows that descent into meth madness but also the descent of Jesse and his state of mind.
Such a great scene. Like he's thriving on chaos, as long as that chaos stays out of his head. The more noise he hears on the outside, the less replays of that gunshot he heard on the inside. It makes me so sad...
The Vikings "Theme Song" is Fever Ray - If I had a Heart. From one of the best electronica albums ever.
I know it's kind of become inexorably connected to Vikings, and that's all people associate with it now - but damn, what a perfect choice of music. I can't think of a better song to go with Jesse's downward spiral.
Funny reactions in this one, love it. You'll notice how every character in the show breaks bad. Marie and Skylar are doing that now.. even RJ will, when he drives with two feet, breaking the law at 16! lol
Just started watching Vikings on Hulu this year and rewatching Breaking Bad so when if I had a heart played I marked out!!!
the devils in the details lol. how about the detail that theyre buying a car wash for $800,000. if they can explain buying that for 800k, they can also explain 350 for a bottle of champagne. and the irs doesnt examine cash transactions for 350 purchases. nobody would know. its illogical to worry about that. its a dime holding up a dollar.
If you can forgive Marie for stealing from people as a coping mechanism because her husband is mean to her, then surely you can forgive Hank for pushing her away as a coping mechanism to deal with the humiliation and anxiety he feels because of what happened to him.
Lmao at Rana doubling down on the random black henchman being Gus’ “double”
No Rana, he’s just another black guy. You might as well say Hank is Walt’s double lmao
Right. Tyrus and Gus look nothing alike.
Really surprised Rana would say that I mean they have similar shaped heads but that's it? I mean that's a low key racial stereotype that I don't think she's aware of.
You do realize that Gus is Latino, not black, right?
Melissa Vukelic Ok, this should be good. Explain what possible relevance that has to this?
At the end of the day, they look similar
You guys will love Better Call Saul!
Jesse was wearing a red shirt when he asked Walt to do something, implying he needs company and isn't going good. Then he puts on a purple jacket while answering Walters question saying 'good', which is obviously a lie.
"Where... are... my... MINERALS!?" *Daenerys face*
And then she gets shot in the head with a crossbow by a revealed to still be alive Stannis
In this show I think purple could represent fantasy & escapism. Jesse wants to escape the reality of the danger he's in. Walt wants to imagine he's in control of things. Marie has always had this fantasy view of herself & her station in life.
damn i got the chills when i heard the Vikings theme song
Bill burr was right when he said "when your in a bar fight you always think your right but after you think, I kinda deserved that"
I’m not sure the colors mean what you think they mean, but you do you.
From now on I’ll wear purple whenever I’m lying. Sure, whatever.
Did that really sail that far over your head or are you pulling my leg because we are 4 seasons in and the color talk is nothing new
charles irvine This comment in nearly one year old and I forgot this channel even existed, the fuck you commenting for?
@@thisusernameis2long927 oh don't be like that just tell me if you understood the colors
charles irvine I didn’t give a shit about the colors back then, I don’t give a shit about them now.
Since you guys mentioned Ozark, any chance any Normie groups are gonna react to it, past and future seasons?
Love the girls' faces when Hank gets on Marie about getting Fritos instead of Cheetos. Possible identification with being in that same situation (Nahid: Something tells me you two have had this kind of spat before.)
I can't get over Hannah's period comment that was just great. So my thoughts; Skyler is surprisingly adept at crime, Hank is being a real asshole, Marie is a mess, Saul is as always hilarious, Walter seems almost lost and Jesse is seriously fucked up. Also, I love how Nahid just sits there and says nothing to Rana and Hannah's comments.
Fever Ray is the Vikings music. Check her out as well as The Knife, her band.
20:11 "I've been taking blood out of my clothing (since 13), I can murder somebody and get away with it." Hannah scares me. 😳
I'm kind of disappointed no one recognized Bill Burr :(
12:30 WHAT! I had no idea! I must have started Vikings after Breaking Bad. I did not even remember it was in this scene. Wow
20:07 Nahids face
Do you have full reaction videos on your patreon or just early access?

18:23 His face 😂😂😂 amazing !! Hahahaahah he’s like: bro wattefuck 😦😂😂
There is a colour code for costume in film and tv. A lot of purple means a character has a high opinion of themselves, doesn’t listen to others etc etc etc.
lol walt "your comparing me to Nixon now??" LMAO
Nice one you guys
15:15 Bill Burr!!
0:27 Yeah same... Been that way since middle of season 1 yo 😂
Legally the Realitor had NO right to check Marie's purse (the Realitor only suspected Marie. She didn't have evidence). She could ask her to leave and then have Marie arrested for Trespassing IF she wouldn't leave. Unless the Realitor or someone else witnessed Marie stealing they would have NO legal reason to detain her or prevent her from leaving. (You can get in big trouble if you do that, it could be making a "False Arrest").
Maybe purple = ambition, pride, ego or greed (kinda throwing darts all over the place, but its going somewhere)
Of course purple conventionally is associated with royalty as only the rich could afford purple dye and such.
Marie is obviously fairly wealthy, nice house, somewhat materialistic, Wants Hank to move up the chain so they Move to DC (power, class)
her pride probably was getting in the way of apologizing to Sky for her stealing stunt as well, So I see Marie's obsession with purple as
a front, which is why I think the stealing ordeal was even a side story at all, because Marie isn't as royal as she wishes she would be, another sign of this
is Marie and Hank not being wealthy enough to handle his medical care. Ambition of royalty makes sense to me because it also connect with Walt.
Another dart that can connect Walt and Marie purple gate could be they are both bored of everyday life, both have high ambition (seeking royalty/power/class)
both rebel against that boring life, making meth, stealing, creating fake personas for their hurt ego's (Heisenberg for Walt, and Marie's elaborate stories during her open house stunts)
I am not exactly sure how well it connects in this particular moment with Walt wearing purple, could match up in a few ways.
1. Like Marie, Walt is ambitious for power, also like Marie at this moment that purple more represents a front, fake royalty/power - Walt isn't in control, Gus is.
2. Marie's purple fantasy is a lie to herself, and here Walt isn't just lying to Sky, but perhaps lying to himself as well.
3. It's a fucking purple shirt, that's all...lol...
Now that I type all this BS, I think simply, purple represents them lying to themselves and the yearning for royalty they can't have.
Damn you guys, I never really noticed the whole color symbolism this show subconsciously flaunts at us until you pointed it out and theorized on it, now I am just as obsessed with the meaning of colors in Breaking Bad as Marie is to purple, or Hank is to minerals, or Jesse is to "bitch"...thanks a lot.
purple is self deception btw, catching up on these lol
16:57 that made me laugh so fucking hard
I'd love to see some reactions to Ozark
I just binged ozark
I keep calling Walt Hank as well, lol. I think its because i associate the name Hank with bad assness, I always think of Madness Combat when I hear that name. Hank is of course bad ass, but Walt is in some ways too
Oh, Marie... The things, you say... Your purple prose just gives you away. The things, you say... You're unbelievable!
Walter + Skyler = Gus...
12:16 this is the exact moment where Jesse becomes Jesse lodbrock 😜
Im in love with Hannah.
F is For Family. Make videos about it?
yea when I rewatched my BB DVDs lately I was like WTF why am I hearing the Vikings theme. I thought I was going mad. BTW if I ever...murder someone I will call Anna to help out. j/k :D
You guys never stopped to think that Jesse is keeping all those people at his house not caring what they do because he's scared for his life, plus everything else that's been going on with him he's scared and alone. He didn't start having people over until after Gus showed them what happens when you screw up.
i can't wait till y'all see jessie
Man, you guys have the opposite reaction to Skylar than I did when I first watched it. 2019 I guess.
I love the love for Jesse and Skylar
She is butting into his glory, he's having to take a back seat again.
OL' BILLY BURRRRR
18:30 Jesse is a fan of Yakuza confirmed!
Lol they didnt even notice Bill Burr in this episode
Rana gets extra cool points from me for watching Claws!!!
20:05 O_o ...

I appreciate the systematic approach to the discussions, important things don't get missed. I also appreciate the intelligent and open minded observations from both of these beautiful ladies. They both have been on point since the begining. Or maybe this is just "my crowd* and we're all idiots 😉 just kidding.
6:35 DREW BREES
Omg. Purple. Lies and deceit. Jessie with his purple jacket saying hes fine when hes not. Walt with his eye, saying its fine. Yall got me trippin!
Omg how nice from them to let a homeless guy watch this show with them. Nice one girls keep it up! :)

if you like saul in BB, you pretty much have no soul. jimmy mcgill.... now theres a guy who deserves more love!
Purple, blue, yellow, green, red, orange, pink, white, black, grey! :D
I don't get it, they're buying a car wash for $800k, he can afford to buy a $320 bottle of champagne to celebrate.
*BILL BURR!*
I love claws and animal kingdom
Animal kingdom is my guilty pleasure show
Danger. 😎
Ha, I forgot bill bur came on this show as one of sal's bodyguards. He's fucking hilarious. Y'all should watch his stand up bits like epidemic of gold digging whores or I'm sick of Michelle Obama. Or chappelle show skits like racial draft or world series of dice.
20:00-20:26
I do not understand ANYTHING about all the purple talk you guys have during the episode. What does it mean ? Is it slang to talk about something ? (English is not my natural language...)
Don't worry, it doesn't mean anything. They're just overanalyzing the scenes.
I want Cheetos now.
How mental was the liverpool game
I don't believe Jesse is actually using right now.
He just wants everyone else around him to use. Strangely this typical newly (1st year) recovering addict behavior. He's kinda using vicariously. This is an example of why many talk about how cunning addiction can be when trying to get away from it. Even the slip up when Tumas(Tomas?) Got killed is not unusual. Of course every time an addict slides there is the danger of the slide becoming eternal. There's always only 1 of 3 possibilities in the future of an addict, prison (institution), the morgue, or sobriety. It is also typical for the recovering addict to feel and act lost, till he/she learns new healthier coping mechanisms. I'm pretty sure he was only shown to have actually ingested during the Half Measure ep. One other time since then it shows him cutting up lines on a mirror, then present to Skinny and Badger. It sort of shows them use but I believe we see Jesse sitting back just watching and absorbing, his friends crazy shit talking. Just my take on it.
✌️😎 Peace
15:11 I Love bill burr
This color thing is starting to get a little annoying. I'm sure there are select instances where color has some symbolic meaning but you guys are taking it way to far and its really bogging down the commentary. Sometimes there isn't any deeper meaning behind a color choice other than aethestic preference. Stop trying to attach some deeper meaning to everything and enjoy this incredible show
But they’re right. Color theory is well documented for this series
@@WraithX959 Did you not read my comment? I'm not saying that it isn't. But there is such a thing as over analyzation and I think they are doing that
MPRBuster That’s your opinion and you’re welcome to it, that doesn’t mean it’s accurate. They can watch the show whichever way they want, if they want to analyze the colors while watching they can do that, there is an intended purpose behind the color choices and it was placed there intentionally by the creators of the show. People consume entertainment differently, what you see as “over analyzing” is just the way they enjoy the show looking for deeper meanings and symbolism that is represented.
dammit. now I want some cheetos.
guss look alike 😂😂😌
But Vikings used it way later than Breaking Bad...
Huell Rules!
after this episode i still fail to understand how people hate skyler
When youre watching the story for the first time and want to see walt get crazier skylar just seems like a hindrance.
sadly, i think it's all too easy to understand
because they hate women.
@@Henipah *that aint it cheif*
