You SAVED MY iPad with this! Seriously. Thank you for sharing this…after watching too many vids of people spending 15-20 min to tell me obvious fixes like “change the cable” & “make sure there’s no q-tip stuck in your port” I found your video. THE OLNY ONE that actually made sense & worked. I am using my tablet for the first time in 3 weeks…thank you! Subbed and big thumbs up! Thank You!!! Folks, this has now worked two times after I accidentally turned it off & drove 300 miles! Just run your hair dryer over the back of your iPad about 4” away, back & forth for about 30-45 seconds, maybe a minute. This actually works!
Wow, after three days of trying various methods and considering the possibility of buying some software that is sold out, I tried your method and it worked! Thanks so much!!! To those that haven't tried it yet: do so persisttently: I left it drying around 10 minutes and then try several times to jump started. And the magic work!!!
This actually works!! My wife was really upset because her ipad after charging it would not turn on. I found your video and she is now a very happy women!! God bless you and thank you so much my friend.
OMG IT WORKED, TYSM ITS BEEN 4 YEARS I HAVEN'T USED IT, BUT NOW FOR REAL I WAS DRAWING SOMETHING AND THE APPLE SIGN JUST APPEARED AND OPEN MY IPAD TYSM, IF I CAN SEND A PICTURE TO PROVE THAT ITS REAL, AT FIRST I GAVE UP BECAUSE IT WONT WORK, YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER 😭😭
I have tried all of the other videos, with the hard reset and did not work. Used your method and it works. Thank you so much. You are the best. Thank you and be safe.
I just want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I haven't been able to charge my iPad Air MD785LL/B for over a week. I purchased an adapter and cable from the Apple store at the tune of $62 and it still wouldn't charge. I just tried your start/home buttons duo hold/release, hold/release. I did it about 6 times and it went on and what's weird is it's 100% charged?? I couldn't be happier so THANK YOU AGAIN Albert!!
YOU are a Legend! This worked on my iPad Mini 2015! It wouldn't charge at all for 2 days straight of being plugged. I blow dry the hell out of the back side and it finally turned on! To those with the same struggles. I believe the battery likes warm temps to. I store the ipad on a cold ground and i believe its part of the reason it it killed it.
Worked on my ipad. Heated it up for about 3 minutes then waited for sometime and it opened by itself. Thank you so much, my friend. Almost cried because I thought I broke it
For those non-english speakers, this totally works! i heated it plugged in for less than 2 minutes, then i panicked coz it did not turn on as fast as on the video. Hw, i kept heatting it up 2 other times(still plugged in) and left it to cold down for 20minutes. Para los que no hablan ingles. Este metodo funciona totalmente. I have to admit I never thought this would work lol but WOW with in 10 seconds my iPad was back on. It’s still on life support BUT now I can back everything up and get a new battery. THANKYOU for all your hard work and advise Keep up the good work 😜
My ipad was dead not charging at all i watch so many videos i came across this video after watching this video and reading so many positive comments i thought i should give it a try and it realy worked, thanks for sharing this video
I tried this. Thought it was a crazy idea. Used the blow dryer for minutes. It wasn't working work. I gave up. Started putting away the blow dryer. Flipped over the iPad . . . . And it was WORKING! Unbelievable. Thanks so much!
OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WORKS!!!! I tried it 2 times first it didn't happen, then after 2 days I was sitting and thought to my self let's try it again and it works! Thank you so much!!!!
i really didn’t think this was going to work after my daughters 6th gen ipad being turned off for 3 years. i wanted to get the screen repaired for my toddler and was afraid i was going to have to get a whole new one until i came across this video. Amazing!!!!
Thank you, 👍🏽 you just saved me $1000 til next year. I left mine plugged in and between blankets for an hour. In that time It had rebooted and was ready to go.
This really worked for my iPad gen 6. Thanks a lot for the video!! I used a dryer for about 20-30 sec and after pressing the ON button, was happy to see the apple logo again !! The iPad was showing up as fully charged...but seems the battery needs to be changed as it has lost capacity and can again go into deep discharge mode. This method atleast gives you some breather to retrieve any data and back up .
Thank you 🙏 I carefully warmed mine up in front of a calorie gas heater and at first it wouldn’t turn on. I went back to it 10 mins later and it was on once again 👍 Most helpful thanks again. Quinny
Didn't believed at first but after reading the comments gave a try and it worked. My ipad(6th gen) which is 3 years old and was just showing the battery icon for hours and not starting. Initially thought my charger is not working or my port is bad. Tried heating for 2 minutes on first go and didn't worked then after letting it cool for few minutes had again heated it for next 2-3 minutes (no need to overheat it) and then also it wasn't booting up but after cooling of while plugged in charging it started. My battery was just at 1% even though i had left it charging overnight.....so, guessing it was deep discharged. Thanks!! Appreciate the help!!
I honestly didn't think this would work but it did. I didn't even have to use the blow dryer for more than 2 minutes or so before it came back to life. It's duly noted that the battery symbol shows fully charged as we had it plugged in forever hoping it would come back to life on its own! Thank you!!
This Worked!! Thank you very much!!! =) I kept trying to charge it through my PC and it would not charge. It did not matter which usb type port I connected to. I also tried different cables. Nothing. After watching your video I tried connecting it directly to a usb charger on a pawer bar of mine and it actually charged. I guess when they get that low something in the software prevents it from charging unless it's connected to a "power Only" connection. Thank you again!!!
By golly, it worked! I'm now back to 100%, at least for now. It enabled me to turn the ipad off, which is the only way it will charge. It had been stuck in the reboot loop. I then left it off to charge for most of the day. Thank you.
Omg I can't believe it actually worked! I just turned on the ancient ipad mini 7 years old which was off for at least one year (if not more)! I was holding the hair dryer for a few minutes and nothing happenned, I just gave up. But I left is charging. Came back after 1 hour and it is on! Thank you man for this incredible trick!
Had an issue where the iPad had not been charged for about a year. Had to put the charger cord on it for a spell, and foce boot the tablet, but it only brought up the battery image. After letting it sit for a spell, noticed it wasn't charging. Battery image remained at empty charge. I used your method of using a hair drier to apply heat to get the charging unit working. Ended up having to do it twice, before the unit began to finally start charging. I let it sit for around 10 mins, and the unit finally popped back up properly. Battery was at 15% charged at that time, so it went from no charge at all (or dead battery), to 15% charge in around 15 to 20 minutes of charging, and now boots up properly. Thanks for the info. It brought it back from the dead, to life again.
Honesty, I'm Suprised that this ACTUALLY WORKS!! Once I Charged My IPad for the Whole Hour it didn't show the home screen it only shows the battery logo and the Apple logo and it Just does a Loop of it. I Tried Doing this Tip Two Times and Nothing Happens, I Tried Doing it for the third time and Nothing Happens either, I left My IPad for 1 week without charging and Today I Charged it again and It Finally Shows the Home screen and I'm So Glad that This Works! Thank you so much! I have a five year old ipad that I had taken to the Apple store to ask about a battery change. They ran the battery test showing it was consumed but claimed it was 'vintage' and (even though it was still supported by the latest software) therefore they couldn't get parts for it or something. Actually I got really different answers from the apple store versus apple support (that the store told me to call) - all of which were bad. They had no idea why it won't turn on if it still has 50% capacity per their own battery test and no way to recover anything. I have been calling around finding prices for battery replacements because I just wanted to rescue my photos and files off of that thing and was being quoted about $180 - about half the cost of something new. I was just about desperate enough to bite the bullet when I found this video. Literally 30 seconds of heat and it was on and showing 100% charge. Evidently it was charging but not able to turn on. I'm blaming the apple store/mall for being so cold that it apparently sent my ipad into shock lol. Even when I went to another store and was asking questions about another tablet the salesperson there was surprised that I had gotten 5 years out of an apple device. Which feels ridiculous given how much they cost. So grateful for this!
Thankkk youu so much!! I didn't expect this tutorial would work since I don't have any hair blower so I just used my hot compress to heaten the back of the iPad and I left it for about 15 mins and voila it turned on! Thank you so much for this tutorial
Thank you thank you thank you!! I ordered a refurbished iPad online and when it arrived it wouldn’t turn on! Now it’s charging up just fine! This sounds crazy people, but it really works!!
i have the same problem, tried the hard reset fix but it doesnt seem to have worked. What did work is when i unplugg it and plug it back in after a minute the Apple logo shows up then i hear the "blink" sound on pc (if connected) or blink sound on ipad when its connected to a wall charger. Thank you so much for creating this video to help people like me. It came on after only about 10 seconds of heating the battery...Even if I have to do this every day or week, at least it comes on. THANK YOU!! We appreciate you ♥️
Great video, it has worked. I have changed the new battery but it does not start charging. I have had tried many you tube tricks. At last I did with hair dryer, thank you very much, I have had worried that I have had broken something during battery replacement, but it wasn’t. Thanks mate
Thank you so much, man. I just had to comment to show others that this really works! Though I dont completely understand how this all works, Im happy that I tried it. I was worried that heating the battery to an extent would cause it to explode or flame up. Thankfully, it didnt. These Ipads were really old. I fixed 2. Thank you Albert so much for this trick. I just turned on my ipad doing exactly what you've shown. But I have used mini room heater instead of hair dryer :p
You're a life saver!!!! Hahahaha. Don't have a blower at the moment knor a heating pad. I used an iron! Ha! Hahahah. On its lowest setting, I ironed my towel then rubbed it on the back of my iPad 7th Gen (which was not used for almost 5 months now) maybe for only 4 times simultaneously and it lit up! Thank you so much for making this video!
Another thing to make sure is that your using a new iPad charger that helps jump start it a bit to although now as I’m typing this it just went back to the battery screen again so idk.... I am trying to jump start the first iPad mini out so😅😅
Thank you so much!!! The only video that actually helped me fix my iPad Air that I had bought a year ago and hadn’t been using for a few months. I left it in my garage where I store a lot of my things and I’m guessing the low temperature was causing it issues and would not charge.
Thanks a million for making this video!! I can’t believe it really works! Went to apple store but to no avail…Suggested me to shell out $500 for the same iPad model… So happy that I saw your video!
this didn’t work for me at first, I lost hope and then BOOM. It turned on and brought me to the Apple restore page. Plugged it into the computer and rebooted no problem. Thank you so much
Wow! Thanks a lot man! My iPad is 6 years old, and after dying, it just wouldn't power on until a while after. But this time it wouldn't start up. I never thought this would be the problem and this was the solution! Thanks a lot. 🤣
Phew, what a save! I don't have a blow dryer though. Instead I used a hot compress and it took less than 30 seconds for the much awaited apple logo to appear. Thank you for saving my sanity!
I was skeptical about this solution. But it worked! Ipad 6gen only showed logo battery and 1% charge. After heating the back for 2 minutes, it started up and started charging the battery! It's just been 10 minutes and it's showing 5%. Thanks! It helped me: D
no joke i have like one of the first ipads ever made an this trick actually worked to get it back on i about pooped when i seen the home screen thats just crazy! for sure thought the battery would be toast i left it in my old car for over 2 years through mn winters it reached easy -30 degrees F cant believe it

Thank you so much, this worked on my iPad Air 2. Really grateful for your video!
Thank you Albert so much for this trick. I just turned on my ipad doing exactly what you've shown. But I have used mini room heater instead of hair dryer :p
SAME!!!
WOW!!! It worked!!! You’re a life saver!!! I’ll watch anything you upload!! Subscriber for life!!! I owe you!!! I’m going to save all the photos!!!
OMG!it really work on my ipad mini 2...thank you so much for this useful information👍🏻
@@bryanff4289 air hot but not too hot.
This is crazy, well.. it's fundamental physics and it totally worked. Thank you Albert.
This worked in 20 seconds! Unbelievable, thank you!
Omg this actually works thank you!! I’ve been searching the internet for ages!
Like other viewers, I felt I saved much time and money with this video. Appreciate your sharing the trick! : ))
I am so impressed, thank you so. Much been trying for ages
Thank you! I was a sceptic, but it work & my ipad is now charging
Thank you so much I didn't have a blow dryer so I just rested my iPad against the radiator it worked.
Jajajsja
Thanks a million for making this video!! I can’t believe it really works! Went to apple store but to no avail…Suggested me to shell out $500 for the same iPad model… So happy that I saw your video!

Thank you, my brother. My phone has been charging for a week, but to no avail. Thank you for this effective method
this didn’t work for me at first, I lost hope and then BOOM. It turned on and brought me to the Apple restore page. Plugged it into the computer and rebooted no problem. Thank you so much
It works, i haven't charged my ipad for almost a year, i used a heating pad though
I swear you are a life saver I really needed my iPad after putting it in the charger for 4 hours straight ❤❤
Wow! Thanks a lot man! My iPad is 6 years old, and after dying, it just wouldn't power on until a while after. But this time it wouldn't start up. I never thought this would be the problem and this was the solution! Thanks a lot. 🤣
Held a hair dryer on the back for 10 seconds and it fired up immediately. Thanks so much!!!
Wtf,I watched your whole vid and when I was going to get the hairdryer,I looked at my ipad and it turned on by itself
WHAT THE FUCK I DID THAT AND IT HAPPEND TO ME TO
WTF WHILE READING YOUR COMMENT MY IPAD JUST TURNED ON NO LIE WTF
WTF SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME
HOLY SHIT I JUST READ THIS, SCROLLED UP AND I HEARD A FAINT *ping* HOW THE HELL
@@ghost_animates7926 i think this comment and video has powers
Phew, what a save! I don't have a blow dryer though. Instead I used a hot compress and it took less than 30 seconds for the much awaited apple logo to appear. Thank you for saving my sanity!
I was skeptical about this solution. But it worked! Ipad 6gen only showed logo battery and 1% charge. After heating the back for 2 minutes, it started up and started charging the battery! It's just been 10 minutes and it's showing 5%. Thanks! It helped me: D
Thanks so much. I thought my 8 year old iPad mini 2 was well and truly dead (although it was working fine yesterday). A brilliant tip.
You’re the actual best
