- My go-to green smoothie recipe is perfect for any type of health, fitness or weight loss goal. It's low in sugar and packed with protein and healthy fats, so not only is it delicious, but it will keep you nourished and satisfied for hours.

Handful baby spinach

Great video, but isn't an oxymoron to blend healthy smoothies with a plastic blender that shaves micro plastics into your smoothie. I bet if you look at your plastic blender at the base it will have scratch marks. That's why I use a glass blender with no plastics touching my food.

Omg yes so true about shifting thinking into all the goodness found in wholesome foods. I have been trying to change my diet for YEARS! Just recently I finally started focusing on all the good foods I can find and stopped harping on the bad foods I needed to stop eating. My life is finally changing to healthier eating!!!

Hi Dani, love your channel. Great smoothie recipe, thank you for all that you do. I just wanted to make two suggestions- you can add a scoop of collagen protein instead of the vanilla protein. Also, a tsp sized piece of raw turmeric doesn’t alter the taste and is great for anti-inflammation. Thank you again for all the delicious recipes you share with us every day.

Great smoothies. A nice one you may like: red cabbage (Big handful) 1 large apple, 1Tbs. Hemp protein, organic apple juice. This is one of my faves. Hope you try this and even add more to it if you think it could be brought up a notch. I have smoothies every day and inspite of the many I make up myself I'm always looking for more ideas to change it up. Thanks for a great show. You go girl! L.O.L.

I do make a green smoothie with spinach and blueberry but have never used avocado. Good ones are hard to come by here. I will try the mint tho. Thanks
That is an excellent healthy smoothie. Please let me share my best "desert" smoothie. Freeze half or all of an avocado, put into blender, add one cup frozen blue berries, one cup frozen cherries (about 10 cherries) add about a cup or a little more to preference of goat milk (Califia farms almond-coconut milk can be used) top off with about two tablespoons of organic cacao (chocolate) powder, blend well. It sort of reminds me of a Wendys smoothie but it is a lot healthier, especially for kids! Love your videos!

@@CleanandDeliciousDani Hey Dani, Happy Sunday! 💚 Literally have ALL the ingredients and just noticed I picked up the wrong flavor protein... chocolate instead of vanilla. I was comparing ingredients and picked up the wrong one by accident!!! Ugh!!! Also, I couldn't find the persian cucumbers so got mini cucumbers made by Mucci Farms which I will cut in half bc they're small but long. If I feel like running back to the store later I will exchange the protein powder and if not I'll just try this Tues am! Rrrrrrr!

When I was pregnant, my nutritional focus didn't change much. Lot's of quality protein + healthy fats - plenty of veggies and good slow carbs. It's the basics, but it makes me feel great :)

Hope this is not too late of a question, as I think this looks great, but I am wondering about how minty it is? I don't know how many people here are familiar with the Girl Scouts thin mints? I like that kind of minty where it's more subtle as opposed to say peppermint patties. Is the smoothie very minty? If so, I will see if I can cut back on the mint leaves. Thank you!

I almost didn't watch this because I don't like cold foods, smoothies, or weight loss videos. This one looks good!
I'll just leave out the ice--those frozen blueberries are enough cold for me.

Quick tip: I am allergic to avacados and find bananas too sweet. Instead I do a fat like olive oil or algae oil along with 2 capsules of glucomman which I open and pour in. The glucomman gives it a nice thick consistency as well and the olive oil keeps it smooth. Would say it's about 80-85% the result of using the banana or smoothie, and is really great if you have to travel whereas the avacado and banana could spoil.

You could use a tablespoon of almond butter and coconut butter. The texture will be creamy and you’ve got healthy fats and some protein 😊

I suggest you stick with organic berries. Fruit will spike your insulin levels only to have you crash and store sugars which turn into fat 😊

What if you’re allergic to avocado? What’s a good alternative?
You can add extra seeds for sure (hemp, chia flax). You can also try half a frozen banana or some froze mango.

Can def do banana or if you want something with protein and fat try some almond butter :)
Just a side note, good fats like avocado and hemp seeds as seen here are great for your body by means of the aforementioned properties as well as they help your body absorb nutrients!
