Thank You For Watching - Розваги
Best song on this album and why? For me it’s homecoming. Incredible production, chris martin has such a beautiful chorus. And the metaphor between a relationship with a girl and chicago is genius.
I Wonder. That part around 2:30 in the song is just like spirit-lifting, and that sample is executed and used perfectly
Everything I am, very simple yet effective message but very inspirational, and just such a chill beat that gets me everytime. I have very fond memories taking the train while listening to that track and just looking out the windows. One of my personal favourite Kanye tracks
probably Big Brother, most personal song on the album, beat is crazy as well.
@@poison1356 I'm with you..."I wonder" does it for me every time...the vibe of that song just carries you away
Common did it first
just graduated yesterday's night, I had this album on repeat all day
Congrats!!!
don’t we all, as a kanye fan you have to lmao
I graduated last May as well and I hadn't heard this album yet except for a couple songs. I just listened to it for the first time last night and I wish I had it back then. It's freaking amazing
congrats man, i did the same thing when i graduated
Nahh the disrespect to I Wonder is crazy. That song is so empowering idk something about it just makes me want to strive for and accomplish my dreams.
2:35 is prolly one of the best parts to a song I’ve ever heard
Literally one of the best songs
corny
Now that i wonder have the recognition i thought it deserved(it kinda deserved some of, but not that much tbh), i understand him lol
@@flaxcono
I appreciate how your dad appreciates one of Ye's least appreciated quality, his sense of humor.
"I'm like a fly Malcolm X, "Buy any jeans necessary..." is one of Kanye's best lines of all time easily lol
He's right, Graduation is more commercial than other albums. So it's more of a pop appeal, hence why it was a bit worrying for Kanye's rap-centric fans back then.
HE LIKED DRUNK & H- WHAAAATTTT??? that's actually pretty funny lol
Good Night & Bittersweet Poetry also might be worth showing off-camera maybe
😊😊

1- I Wonder
2- Flashing Lights

1- Flashing lights

@@recruitonly1175 you got it
The songs might sound commercial to him but back then it was a new sound. Kanye pushes the norms.
Flashing lights is my anthem.
If your dad doesn’t like commercial Kanye, then he’d probably love Yeezus.
lmao Love that pops has his own opinions on what he hears which everyone should, its good to give him perspective and the general consensus is something i never pay attention to as is usually kids who haven't formed onions of there own.
onions
"You're a wild card man" sent me to the moon😂😂😂😂😂
LOL
that squeaky sound in good life is ye sampling pyt by michael jackson
I woke up to "Good morning" for years its an amazing ⏰️ song.
Wow I can’t wait for the Kayne journey, there are so many more albums and each time it’s a whole ass new unique flow he brings to table. A true ARTIST of music. Great vid!!
Good old days when this dropped
I totally appreciate Mikes opinion about I Wonder, it shows he's honest about what he has to say.
STRONGER. The first music video I ever put on my iPod! I listened to this song so.damn.much. love that your fad recognized it haha. Can't wait til yall get to MBDTF!! Love love!
Dad is so based drunk and hot girls the best
Cant wait for 808s and hearthbreaks!
It's great to see Turning The Tables influence on UA-cam
I can’t wait until y’all listen to 808 and MBDTF.
This is Kanye’s most commercial album, basically went platinum in a week.
& beat 50 cent on release week sales which was a crazy time in hiphop
Definitely an album full with hits
big brother will always hit. classic album man.
Thank you for your honesty
Graduation was actually the first album I ever listened to from start to finish when I was 12. I had just gotten into hip hop a year earlier beginning of middle school and I was already starting to notice almost all of the mainstream rappers talked about the same stuff and wanted to hear someone more unique with substance. Saw the premiere of Can't Tell Me Nothing music video on 106 and Park a couple months before the album released. Never seen Kanye before then but I immediately knew he was different than any artist I had ever heard. Tbh Graduation is one of my least favorite albums of his now but it's what started my fandom of my favorite artist of all time.
I can’t help but go back and watch your pops reaction to drunk and hot girls over and over again lmaoo him and I are part of the 2% that actually like that song. He’s definitely a wild card 😂
Of note, Homecoming is also inspired by Common’s “I Used to Love Her”, which was his love letter to hip hop. Very reminiscent of Homecoming being Kanye’s love letter to Chicago.
"jay z influence" that's bc Kanye was making his beats haha
Mike is incredibly based. I love it
Pops is triiiipppppin 😮 this is so good
Can't wait until y'all do 808s and Heartbreak!
I know this has probably been mentioned before, but it's uncanny how much your dad reminds me of Michael Keaton!
You gotta do Bittersweet Poetry, that`s like one of the best tracks in Graduation
It is the best track
Should’ve included Good Night! I feel like that’s the true end to this album, it’s a 10/10 either way. Graduation is definitely Kanye’s best or 2nd best (tied with Yeezus tbh) and there’s not a single bad song on this whatsoever, especially with the bonus songs (Bittersweet Poetry and Good Night)
In that case Bittersweet Poetry should be there to. Such a shame it's not on streaming.
@@Pivot-Shorts Both songs are amazing, I think Good Night should always be the conclusion of the album though. It only makes sense + it just is a ending song, it feels so beautiful and a great finisher
I personally think MBDTF is the best album but I respect your opinion
This album speaks for itself, but I feel context really pulls it all together. At this time 50 cent and “gangster rap” was super hot. This album transcends what popular hip hop/rap was at the time and and takes it to stadium status.
It’s also him taking another step in his career and pushing his stardom to another level and moving on from the city of Chicago for bigger opportunities. So he’s graduating from Chicago and he’s graduating hip hop as we knew it at the time and taking it to the next level. So you dad isn’t wrong in his analysis of the album’s difference, but it’s the intention of taking hip hop to another stratosphere of popularity.
His albums going forward will continue pushing this trend of changing what hip hop can be and blazing the trail for artists to come. That’s why he’s still relevant today.
Big Brother makes me tear every damn time man.
Hey tuning in to watch this album reaction. For the next artists can you do Big Krit 4eva is mighty long time?
fuck yea W upload , much love to you guys keep the work up
💜💜💜
i wish more people reacted to bittersweet poetry!
Great reaction! I am like your dad when I say I enjoy Drunk and Hot Girls haha.
I lucked out and was able to experience Kanye live a few weeks before his meltdown.
Flashing lights was surely an experience live, I so hope you can experience it as well.
Mike gives a lot of good insight on this one, Love that he enjoyed drunk and hot girls as well, and wasnt afraid to call out I Wonder for being a bit basic, even if it sounded great. Very curious how he will react to 808's and other artists going forward!
i cant wait for him to listen to 808s and yeezus lol
W reaction. please continue reacting to kanye
It was awesome to see someone enjoy DAHG and Barry Bonds. I always loved those since the beginning and it made me giggle seeing someone else enjoy them.
The majority opinion of those two is definitely that they’re the weak points of Kanye’s discography but I love them.
YES I remember I had heard the discourse around Graduation before I heard it all the way through for the first time and it took me such a long time to warm up to either of them because of how firm the consensus was. I think neither of them are particularly bad songs and I seldom get to hear appreciation for either of them. I think having opinions like this be shared helps legitimate differences in opinion which is a big part of what makes music (and art generally) cool
I know! I don't understand the hate at all. They're both solid songs, and DAHG is on my top 15 Kanye songs, and he has like 100+ songs.
After you guys finish the albums, you should show your dad the Jeen-Yuhs documentaries
its going to be very interesting watching 808s and heartbreak
Pops developing his hiphop ear with Kendrick and Kanye 1st two albums I can see how this album wouldnt hit him right. I wish he liked it more😂😂😂
My favorite album from Kanye!
All hits from me (yes even Barry Bonds and Drunk and Hot Girls) 👏🏽
Likewise!
Barry Bonds slander will not be tolerated
Would be cool if you guys checked out Common's album "BE" ft Kanye on production for the project except for two songs that were produced by JDilla... appreciate your reactions
Be and finding forever are both classics. From lyrics to production
You should show him the original version of Homecoming, Home, it’s from the College Dropout era and is more reminiscent of that type of style and features John Legend instead of Chris Martin and has a different hook. It’s amazing
Check out song bittersweet ft. John Mayer. It was cut from the album. Suppose to be last song.
Not cut. The sample only got cleared in Japan so it's on japanese albums and streaming services
I think it's interesting that your Dad associates the chipmunk soul samples to the bear, that's a fun way to look at it lol.
His reaction to 'I Wonder' ,is the SAME reaction another dad gave on another channel. He said it was "boring"....😅 hey, your dads are expecting the BEST! I'm not mad even if I disagree haha.
ua-cam.com/video/ah5EceXkdeo/v-deo.html
He has the same reaction to Drunk And Hot Girls and Barry Bonds!
That hurts my feelings
I know it might not happen any time soon, but it would be very interesting when you think your dad is ready to listen to the money store, or any death grips. Also we need IGOR❤️
Igor is a true masterpiece and top 10 album all time for me. Absolutely gonna do it
I like your taste in music, but death grips is one of those ones you've got to be ready for, and those lyrics definately don't scream artistic on a first listen (I though they made joke music when I first heard them, and when I first saw that guillotine music video) now over 2 years on I've come to really love death grips and now their some of my favourite, but I don't expect people to love them off rip
@@EyesDontCry I've tried to listen to them a few times but I'm not ready yet either.Only listened to 50 hiphop records.Gotta ease into these experimental stuff.
@@benedekistvan2655 yeah definately go slow there, I started on "I've seen footage" and then moved on to the rest of the money store, and then Exmilitary and bottomless pit, but now I'm easing into no love deep Web. They feel more like metal than hip hop to me and so require a bit of a different ear to listen to, but they grow on you if you are into experimental stuff
@@putyouon can’t wait 😁
this album sounds simple, but it’s revolutionary
Finally someone is not hating drunk and hot girls
I’ve always loved Drunk & Hot Girls. It’s only unpopular on Twitter. Real world, ain’t nobody skipping that track.
I don’t use twitter and that song sucks
No misses on this album, including Barry Bonds and Drunk and Hot Girls. DAHG is an amazing song imo, it definitely is a subject of mob mentality.
Why am I late to this omggg
Graduation is (at least) top 5 Ye 💯
Top 1 imo
Praise Yeezus Hallelujah Lord Yeezus 🙌💎
Don’t forget to react to watch the throne deluxe version
also i think you should have showed him good night
Random Question: Do you guys have a discord server? It's a great way to interact with your viewers, as well as have everything in a central hub. A lot of reactors are using discord to communicate with their audience.
Definitely gonna get one going soon 🤟🏻
Top 3 Kanye!
Put your pops on to some Em. Reaction to the Eminem show would be fire 🔥
Please do watch the throne he would love that album
At first I was getting defensive. BUT I remember when can’t tell me nothing came out. I was so disappointed. I didn’t like how “synthee” it sounded and how his soulful samples were missing. I had to wait till the album came out and after a few listens it became such a classic for me, But my initial reaction was hesitant to his change in style. I was such a a fan of college dropout and late reg. So your dads reaction is in line with a true Kanye fan. Love it. Also love that he’s not pressured into feeling like he HAS to say good things about it, makes the videos more genuine.
Hey I appreciate that! Yeah of course i’m glad he feels comfortable being 100 percent honest that’s so important. And I could easily see how off putting this album could be ok first take just because of the shift in sound
I wonder is the best Kanye song of all time
Drunk and hot girls is definitely one of my favorites too
We all share the same name. I think thats cool
Mike gang
Yall definitely need to react to NF or Marlon Craft pleeassseee!
Playboi Carti (Whole Lotta Red) Album next?
You guys should do Lil Wayne Tha Carter 3 (2008) 🔥
Did you guys listen to Late Registration already? Should it in order.
Yes we did. Video was blocked unfortunately
Did something happen to the Late Registration video? I can’t find it for some reason
Blocked, i’ll make it up with mbdtf video soon 🤫
Take him on the kid cudi journey next
cant find late registration on the channel, was it taken down?
Yep. It got blocked

I wonder how your dad will react to 808s and Heartbreak since it has a lot of autotune
Kanyes last concert was the one eith drake
Muito foda
Kanye influenced Jay Z if anything.🤷♂️
Jay Z was more popular before Kanye and helped Kanye with his music
I can’t find late registration on your vids?
It’s blocked

React to YEEZUS
Graduation was an absolute milestone in Hip Hop because Kanye's production had mastered sampling like never before. The modern fusion of Hip Hop with other genres largely relies on sampling and this album really paved the way on how to do that well. Still, because Flashing Lights was really mid and because Drunk And Hot Girls was such a complete dud, I'd still give Lupe Fiasco's Food&Liquor the nod as best (mainstream) Hip Hop album of the 2000s.
was late registration deleted? video not up
Got blocked unfortunately
Where is late registration?
Video was blocked
Great album with some real highs. I still can't get with Barry Bonds, but everything else is amazing.
my favourite song on the album lmao
I like the song, but I feel like the discourse for the song is the underwhelming feeling of you got weezy and yeezy and that's what you got. Just felt it would be legendary and it was just a good track not amazing. Imo
barry bonds isn't bad. drunk and hot girls my only skip
2007 was a weird time in music. I would agree this is Kanye's most pop album, and for some reason every zoomers favorite. I love it too.
Can't wait for Yeezus.
MBDTF first 👁️👁️
The reason it (along with _808s & Heartbreak_) are such a favorite among Gen Z is that these were the Kanye albums they grew up with. It was their introduction, and for some modern rappers like Lil Uzi Vert, 808s in particular was a huge influence on their sound.
@@HappyMan0203 I would understand 808s more because it has lent so much to current modern day music. But Graduation is pop rap, the worst era imo. BUT.. It ended the era because it did it better than anyone else had prior to that. It was one of the few times Kanye shot from greatness instead of brilliance.
Listen, you people need to lay off “Drunken Hot Girls” it’s a great track. Smh tired of this argument lol
One of his Classics. I'm older but trying not to sound like the old bitter dude🤣 but I can't get with his newer ish. Music is subjective though, so I respect it all.
Why skip Late Registration?
Why isn't your Late Registration album reaction on UA-cam?
Got blocked :(
too bad 🚶🏼
Drunk & Hot Girls is the best song of the album. Stop the slander! People who hate it just seem like to not to get it. Make your own opinions and dont listen to random reddit users goddamit
Or maybe, just maybe, I just don’t like it 🤯
True drunk and hot girls is so misunderstand
Drunk and hot girls is a weird track but I honestly think it’s slightly underrated. It’s often labelled how it’s kanyes worst track. I think it still has a lot of merits. It’s catchy and goofy, very much showcasing ye’s personality
andre’s verse on that track might be my favorite fucking feature/moment ever man. it’s so goddamn good and he fits the motif so perfectly and i wish it was its own song lol
@@drew.p.y please tell me you didnt confuse Mos Def with Andre 3000
@@edm4124 NOOO LMAO IM SORRY MOS DEF. i don't take back a word of what i said though because andre and mos are equally amazing and that verse was amazing.
