Thank You For Watching - Розваги
I cut this part out of the video but I think it needs to be said. No matter what the point of this channel is to show my dad albums I like. Sometimes I will show him a whole discography, sometimes I won’t. Sometimes I will go in order, sometimes I won’t. There is no “wrong order” to do anything because it’s the albums I like, and the ones I want to show him. And I appreciate all feedback sincerely, but this one I just have to lay to rest cause it’s so ridiculous. For the rest of you who are enjoying the channel as intended, thank you very much 🧡

the message of the song was that no matter what with a smile and positivity u can do anything he did and be a millionaire just like him. meaning u can achieve anthing in life if youre positive about everything and u never give up.
Grown man album
FACTZZZ 💀💀
Say it again. The timing was crazy for me too I really felt this when it came out.
Since you referenced it already, Dad needs to see/hear Beyonce's Lemonade!
The story of OJ was more than financial advice 😂, I think your dad understood a little better!
Personally I would have started him w/ The Blueprint, but 4:44 is near his best! Really accessible and I love the insightfulness. I think your dad will like this one!
Excellent job fellas, I can tell the son knows his hip hop the way he bops his head and make funny face when Hov hit him with a fire bar. Keep up the good work, I'm happy pops listen to the full album and giving it a chance.
Thank you ✌🏻🧡
I don't understand how some don't get that music isn't meant to just be relatable, its a story the artist is trying to bring you into. Even then if you can't relate to it, at least try to empathise, or there's no point listening at all. What's the point of reading any fiction book because it's 'not relatable'? No hate, just an observation and obviously not all music is meant for everyone, this problem isn't localised to just this channel, its a general thought I had, my Dad's the exact same for example.
Music doesn’t need to be relatable or a story for it to be good music
That steve harvey line is actually a triple entendre because when he says "stash" its also referring to steve harveys largely notable Mustache
'my stash couldnt fit into steve harveys shoes'
you missed the 'moustache' 'my stash' bar, shit is a triple entendre crazy
This is a hard album for a novice ear. These bars make you think and your dad is trying to hear the message and the beat. That's hard.
Reasonable Doubt (along with Illmatic) were the album that got me into listening to hip hop albums. Jay-Z encapsulates what it means to be a hip hop artist to me. His longevity is insane as well.
Yesirr! I was anticipating this one. Thank you bro!
🤟🏻🧡 thank you for watching
This was honestly so cool for me because 1 im a super huge jayz fan and i like watching reaction videos just to see what others thought or felt to songs or videos ive experienced. From most of the reaction videos ive watched allot of bars punches and or jewels get missed by the reactors but i loved how you and your dad was so personally invested in making sure you understood what you were hearing. i watched the whole thing threw just because i couldnt wait to hear yall thoughts about the next track but when marcy me came on and i saw your father catch and chuckle to the jay yall be flirting with death i be winking threw the scope line i almost lost it and knew pops wasnt new to this. Keep going this was a breath of fresh air.
Appreciate that a lot thank you 🧡
Love the react, have to listen lemonade before for the whole thing
on that family fued song that was a triple cause "my stash", mustache, steve harveys famous mustashe
4:44 is my favorite song of the album fr
Smile always makes me emotional
Based on comments on how this is your first run through in the Jay-Z discography and your age I think this is a great first album choice especially listening to the opening minutes of your video….this is your channel….there are plenty of reaction videos to his ‘classics’ but based on your taste and your father’s journey I would say this was an excellent choice! Keep up the good work I’ve watched plenty of your videos!
Thank you so much, I appreciate it. Thanks for watching 👍🏼🧡
I think this album is for people who are already into Jay Z as he gives more insightful and personal raps and I don't think people who are not fans already really care that much about his personal life.
Older albums are what make people fans of jay z imo.
I agree, but I don't think it's the worst thing ever. I personally started out listening to 4:44 and then worked backwards.
-brady
You should do a series of videos from 90’s classics East Coast type of thing maybe. As your dad probably remembers the scene as he mentions remembering Jay when he was really young etc. Like Ready to Die, Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt…
YOU HAVE TO DO THE BLACK ALBUM AFTER THIS!!!!!! POPS GONNA LOVVVVE IT
You should show your dad, Lemonade, and The caters, Everything is Love. It’s like a trilogy. Beyoncé side then Jay Z side, then them over it in Everything is Love
Omg yes we need Lemonade and Everything is Love by the Carters!!
Damn great video just wished you did the blueprint or black album first.
“Becky” is not the specific name of the woman that jay z cheated with, it’s a reference to it being a white woman…would like to see a reaction to the album A Written Testimony with jay electronica & jay z
I can vividly remember playing cod: WW2 when 4:44 released and the same night 21 Savage dropped ISSA. Was a cool summer night, quiet. 😢
Going to Jay-Z's last album is an interesting choice, mostly bc there are sooo many references to his past. I think one of Jay-Z's most personal albums is Vol. 1 In My Lifetime. He talks about selling drug to family members, shooting his brother during an argument, feeling like stardom is a trap, etc. etc. I've heard it's difficult to react to Jay-Z albums on youtube and not get it taken down, but I would recommend Vol. 1 and Blueprint if you can manage it.
This is a good album, but man it's old man Jay-Z speaking about being a billionaire and being married. It's well told but sometimes feels so non-relevant to so many listeners that it's hard to get into if you don't know Jay-Z as the person by now. I would have definitely done a greatest hits - it would take too long to go through his whole catalog and if i'm being 100% honest (and controversial) I dont think his catalog is good enough to want to go through each album. Reasonable Doubt then Blueprint then Black Album and then this would have been amazing.
Love y'all that is all!!!!
Thank you much much love ❤️
yall gotta react to the bonus tracks on the cd alblum!!!
Dope reaction . Had a feeling it was gonna start rough for your pops lol. Waiting on that 4yeo 👀💨
Much love toxic my guy 🤟🏻
Kill Jay-z is also about Kanye too..
"...Everybody's Insane" part
I see you with the teddy fresh 🤩
One of the only albums I bought with cash!
Could you show him channel orange before blonde? Channel Orange had much more traditional aspects and i could see a lot of frank’s pitch shifting and other creative choices throwing off your dad on first listen. Plus I think it shows Frank’s evolution into the pinnacle of his ability showcased on Blonde.
Absolutely
If you haven’t listened to Distant Relatives by Damian Marley and Nas it’s worth a listen!
Great vid!
444 such a masterpiece
Yay!
W upload
W mans
I just want mike to start vibing and bob his head with you he needs a J right before or something ! 😂
Ay my dude you was vibin a lil too hard to Story of OJ 🧐 (I couldn’t help not take the chance to make a joke here). Also Marcy Me is one of my favorite on the album. Like he literally just displayed how different he was like effortlessly floated on that shit dawg. Jay Z is different, for real, dude is an alien.
Cmonnn mannn that beat is fire chill 😭
@@putyouon lolol I’m sorry I couldn’t help myself. Great reactions and breaking down the significance of these songs to your pops bruh. Any plans on Cudi albums in the future?
Dad you so funny to me!!! 😂 we love y’all. - signed Alexis C Miranda
You would absolutely love Drill Music in Zion by Lupe Fiasco that would be an EPIC reaction by you guys
🤣 Your dads face when he mentions Jay Z marrying Beyonce! 🤣 Jay is a cool dude!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Please do Adnis (with video) by jay as well. Probably his most powerful song
You should show you’re dad ye. Pretty nice contrast and similarities between this and 4:44
hopefully you do lemonade but the girls name isn't really becky and also the whole album apart from a song or two is about him cheating its very very intricate and interesting especially with the lemonade movie
also lemonade, 4:44 and everything is love is a trilogy about bey and jay's relationship where at first bey tells her side than jay tells his and the last album shows them coming together again
the story of oj is why i even started watching... and pops did not disappoint 🤣🤣🤣
you did a pretty good job breaking it down tho. but i knew all those n bombs was all he could hear lol.
The Story of OJ may not be the most replayable track but to me it’s one of the most incredible sample flips I’ve ever heard. No ID isn’t human
As a Jay-Z fan, I didn't connect with 4:44 as much either (not as much as I did with Blueprint or Black Album or some earlier works). However, enjoyed you guys reviewing this one nonetheless, it's been ages since I've heard it. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Super Early
He also have a song called 2-22
Un was a producer j stapped back in the day. Went on Trial and won
Your dad's primed for Watch The Throne can't wait for that react. Also Madvilliany and Freddie Gibbs Pinata down the line (gotta put dad onto that Madlib production).
Absolutely 🤟🏻🧡
Pops was correct on story of oj. No matter what I do, to a certain group of people ( not everybody) I’m still just that.
talk about a plane flying way over your dads head JESUS. im african american, and fully understood "the story of O.J.", i dont find it hard to comprehend but like jay said "Ok".
4:44 hits hard
My second favorite Jay album but idk if this is a good one to start with.
Beyoncé Lemonade next and after that Everything is Love by the Carters (it’s Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s joint album). Joining Patreon for your consideration of my request 😅😅
Would kill to see your dad react to Playboi Carti
Hmmmm 👀
😱
Dads face when story of oj comes on 🤔…😂
Nas next? Illmatic / it was written?
Put him on that holy grail
You missed on one
The manyfacegod track.
Back when Denzel was buying carpet Alpaca........9mm omfg like if u get the entandre
On 4:44 when he talks about not being there for the stillborns I always took that as he wasn’t there physically all the time, but mostly he wasn’t there emotionally because he was stepping out on her w “Becky” and he wasn’t there to support her because his head was elsewhere even when they were in the same room. So her body wouldn’t accept it til he REALLY showed up.
The stabbing was of Un Rivera...A record executive.
just to add more context to this, Un Rivera was someone Jay-Z considered a friend as well as a record executive. Jay-Z felt Un did something that was disrespectful to Jay, and Jay stabbed Un in a club over it. He's talked about it more than once and others have talked about it, too.
My stash (ma-satsh/ mustache, Steve’s iconic mustache) can’t fit in a Steve Harvey suit
Holy shit how did I never catch that
@@putyouon I’ve heard this album countless times and only caught that line a few weeks ago. Things like that make him the 🐐 for me
I caught it the first time I heard it and always point it out
👀👀👀👀👀
Your dads from NY, check out, Empire State of Mind, from Jay Z: ft Alicia Keys
@@mightymike9469 love that song powerful live. You should react to the performance they do in Time Square, Alicia Keys was supposed to just do the intro, but Jay Z suprises her and come out to do the whole song.
Can you please react to Beyoncé's Lemonade?
OMG PLEASE REACT TO BEYONCÉ’s LEMONADE ALBUM!!!
do logic under pressure
One of my favorite albums of all time, will do it promise
@@putyouon appreciate the reply I'll be waiting for that upload!!
Pls react to nas
He talking to kanye in this song
Which song?
The 1st song.
First song.
"But this "fuck everybody" attitude ain't natural
But you ain't the same, this ain't KumbaYe
But you got hurt because you did cool by 'Ye
You gave him twenty million without blinkin'
He gave you twenty minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin'?
"Fuck wrong with everybody?" is what you sayin'
But if everybody's crazy, you're the one that's insane
Crazy how life works
You got a knot in your chest, imagine how a knife hurts"
He talk about alot in this album. They skipped over j realizing his mom was gay in smile
I missed being the 444th like by 5 likes
He doesn't like the more artistic approaches to rap.
I’m right with you Pops. I don’t like Frank Ocean either lol. #unpopularopinion
I don't either and I dont understand everyone that flips their lid for him.
@@xavvi same
@@xavvi I’m not a fan of him on this feature but his projects are great. Channel orange is amazing imo
fair, blonde is pretty good tho
NAW NIE! WE ARE NOT GONNA SLIDE THRU MOONLIGHT AND NOT TALK ABOUT THE MOST OBVIOUS BAR IN THE SONG, WHICH IS THE CHORUS!
Yall talked about how the industry takes from the up and comers and traps them stealing their spotlight.
"We're stuck in La La Land. Even when we win, we gon lose."
Oscar's 2017 saw the movie Moonlight, the story of the growth of young love between a Black man and a Hispanic man into adulthood, win the award for Best Picture, but somehow when the winner was announced, they called out La La Land as the winner. The cast of the movie came up to accept the award, gave speeches and then one of the cast members or the director or someone read that there had been a huge mistake and that the actual winner was Moonlight. Of course it was controversial in the sense that the movie about ppl of color would be seemingly forcibly snubbed to the mostly White casted movie, we're it not for the honesty of the cast member speaking up. "Even when we win, we gon lose."
