Liz Gillies' Complete Vocal Range | B2 - G5 - C6
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 вер 2024
- The one and only, queen Elizabeth Gillies, most famous for her acting career in Victorious. Despite being a full-time actress, there is much potential in her singing! She could have a really successful music career but no, she took on acting instead. Which is fine, she’s a great actress (but wasted talent! oh noes).
I am in love with her voice! It’s very versatile, able to sing in different genres (rock, pop, musicals/musical theater) and sound amazing doing so. But one thing that stood for me (confuses me, really) is that she has traits of both a mezzo and a light-lyric soprano, so I honestly don’t fucking know what to classify her voice as.
If anyone is wondering, for every note I try to provide both live and studio examples, and if no live notes sound good to me then I’ll use only studio notes and vice versa.
Studio Vocal Range: D3 - G5 - G5
Live Vocal Range: B2 - E5 - Bb5/C6
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll (Soundtrack) Vocal Range: F3 - F5 - C5
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll S2 (Soundtrack) Vocal Range: Eb3 - F5 - D5
All Victorious Albums Vocal Range: E3 - Eb5 - B4
Notes:
- I'm not sure if the Bang Bang G5 (OU) is done in falsetto or mixed voice.
- The C6 in California Gurls may sound like a non-melodic note, but it's controlled enough to count, in my opinion.
She is definitely a Mezzo Soprano. She also stays in Mezzo tessitura. She's really good as well. Her technique is great.
She is one of my fav. From time to time I listen to her.
She needs an album. Why does nobody offer her?
despairingleonardo ppusd6
Pissy we are oncl9lhß9ff
ITunes doesn't want
I think she said she doesnt wanna pursue music
she was offered but she wasn't sure what music she wants to make
She wants to make music when she's decided on her style. For now she's focusing on acting but she does want to release an album :)
She’s definitely a mezzo with good technique for mixing. She does not have ease in the upper extent of her range. She has powerful mid belts like a mezzo would, and great lows like a mezzo would. Her being able to sing higher is just her use of technique. Beyoncé has much more ease and is clearly also a mezzo.
knuxfan23 I think she is an conralto
alien mars alto isn’t a vocal type
alien mars she’s not a contralto, not even close

She can go higher and lower, i know her, THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!
her tone remember me gaga
BTW IS SO BEAUTIFUL
I was gonna say that I absolutely love her tone. Very small hints of Gaga and Miley for me.
Yeah well, actually she is a little heavier and a lot more higher than Lady Gaga
Her lower register definitely gets a bit inconsistent due to the old-Hollywood vibe she employs in some of her singing. As she's grown up it's gotten better, but she still had good moments earlier on, like I don't mind the Landslide F3s and the Beneath Your Beautiful F#3s were nice. Still I think she lies around F#3/G3. Based on the video I liked the Bb4s but the B4s weren't the best. I do think she has nice B4s but I'm just not sure about the consistency. I'd wish you used Wrecking Ball, Song For You & Vienna for the lower mixed notes, but this was a lovely showcase of her range.
What about her supported range? Up to B4?
@@blagdenbutera7701 this comment is old as hell but her total supported range sounds like E3/F3-B4 to me.
@@skylerpowers8871 she good songs
12:37 isn't the cleanest but I'm thoroughly impressed with the fact that she transitioned and went down 2 octaves
xd
I LOVE LIZ GILLIES!!! Her voice is very similar to Karen Carpenter, Amy Lee, and Lady GaGa; all whom are Lyric Mezzo-Sopranos. She has a very versatile tone with impressive impersonations. If only she was a recording artist and releasing music; I would love an album from her.
It should be obvious that I’m one of your biggest fans and supporters of your art and craft!!! Can’t wait for other videos of vocal range showcases.
dearsaintnobody You’re awesome! Thank you so much. And her voice does have that Gaga vibe which I am in LOVE with
vocal vids You’re So Very Welcome!!!!
OMG I totally also heard Karen Carpenter before I saw this comment
I love mezzo sopranos… they have the best of both worlds
*underrated queen*
Her voice is dark and powerful, yet feminine and warm - totally a mezzo soprano.
I just wish she had an album, she has a lot of potential, and I love her, for some reason I think she is mezzo
She is a soprano
She is a higher spinto soprano
How is she a soprano?
She literally screams I'm a mezzo.
Like beyonce
@@Das644 Elizabeth just have a pretty heavy voice, but she's far from being a mezzosoprano.
she snapped in her mid belts 😍
How was that G5 was 100 times better than the F5’s tho
Love 2 Love Brit oml I was trying to find u,ok at the beginning of Mariah's heart breaker song there is 3 harmonized whistles could u extract them
she did the gritty thing on purpose. she also improved over the years but a lot of the rasp was intentional to match the vibe of the rock-based show she was on.
Those low notes wow
Guys don't give up on her singing yet. She wants to release an album when she has time ❤️
Her D5's in my opinion is her strongest high belt. I personally think from there they aren't as supported but shes amazin! I wish this woman went further in music, but I mean she's an amazing actress aswell.
Omg I love her raspy E5 and growled F5. She had a beautiful voice up to that note in her chest voice
her low notes are perfect
Her voice is very similar with JoJo(Joanna Levesque) and Lauren Jauregui
yes very! I was just thinking that Lauren and Liz's voices would sound interesting together, it would be nice
I love Liz! Btw. I would classify her as lyric mezzo soprano. She needs to use her hv/falsetto more often!
Btw. Would you consider to do vocal range of Victoria Justice?
Kitsun Hi! I’m making a live vocal range of Victoria, and help would be great, if you know some good notes from her :)
Diego Novelo well, I know about her highest mixed note G#5 in LA Boyz, but it's not live D:
Kitsun That note was a F#5 not a G#5 :(
Matias - Vocals This? ua-cam.com/video/kPXw-dOzHZc/v-deo.html
She is a Lyric Mezzosoprano with a great supported tecnique if she ever make an Solo Album i will buy her album
I loved it when she was on victorius.
The G#5 almost sounds like a belt
It was mixed
I didn’t know how much I needed this video until u made it.
Great video
maybe.... you snapped
11:54 wow
I always wondered what her range was but now I know because of you thanks
She reminds me barbra streisand!
Her range now is
Bb2- G#5 - C6 - F#6(D7)
Where are these?
@@octaxlugo3540 these???
@@Ariii78 HAHAHAHHA lol I'm sorry, my phone selfcorrected it,
can you pass me the links of the F6?
@@octaxlugo3540 idk how to send links
Her mixed register reminds me of Lady Gaga when she was younger before her timbre changed a bit but her low notes are very much like a mix between Karen Carpenter and Amy Lee to me.
Now its quarantine she should make musiccc
I think she is a light lyric soprano with a great developed lower register, but I’m not sure.
Great video!
Don't think she is a Lyric Mezzo she is definelly a Lyric Mezzo
*QUEEN*
ikr I love the soprano alto duets she does with ariana and Ik she's a mezzo btw however I think she can go higher and lower now she might even have 4 octave range like her
Sabrina CARPENTER PLEASEEEE
L L Maybe, after her new album comes out
Is her supported range like Eb3-C5/C#5-F#5? I still training myself to figure out what's supported and what's not. Also, she was the best singer on Victorious in my opinion and I love this video, thank you!
More like E3-B4 at her best. and like F#3-A4/Bb4 consistently.
Ch -Voce she starts to straing above C#5 for real.
Eb3 - C#5 - F#5 at best
E3 - C5 - F5 consistentlyy
@@lipro9575 Agree.
Except I would give her just F3/F#3 consistent.
Amazing contralto
No shes a *mezzo-soprano*
Her D5 are to die for I love her so much. And sometimes she reminds me of gaga.
she is a lyric mezzo

Sherelton Roosje WHAT THE FUCK YOUR SAYING IT’S LIKE D3-Eb5
@@shereltonroosje2377 wtf? Lmao
Idk what it is consistently but inconsistently it’s around F3-B4
@@shereltonroosje2377 OMG noooo. Liz's breath support is not great, but we all know she can go lower and higher than that with good technique. Her actual inconsistently and consistently supported notes are:
Eb3-C#5-F#5 (Inconsistent)
F3-C5-F5 (Consistent)
Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor and Sabrina Carpenter 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I think she's a light mezzo (just as a lyric), she sounds a lot like some mezzos that we know. And in fact, people in the same vocal classification tend to sound similar, soooo
She’s a lower lyric soprano
wow I hear Karen Carpenter bigtime!!
Operatic vocal classifications can't really apply to singers outside of that domain. It can get a little complicated because many non classical singers have underdeveloped voices. I would not be able to talk about her vocal type as her voice, as nice as it is, still is kind of not developed enough. Many people are saying she's a "lyric mezzo soprano"? Her voice is not big and dark enough for a mezzo in this videos. Her tone is more consistent from f3/g3 and on🤔🤔🤔 Maybe if she works on her voice even more she will be a low soprano. Use Rosa Ponselle and her rendition of a folk Russian song as an example of a low soprano.
So what is She
@@meguminxyunyun as I said... it would be hard to accurately classify her. But she could be a low soprano, based on this video.
@@edgargonzalezpineda4795 Shes a light lyric soprano
@@kevindurbin7412 maybe
@@edgargonzalezpineda4795 I mean she doesn't really fit anything else..
May you do a vocal range video for Ruth B’s album Safe Haven?
Sounds like a mezzo.
Her voice is like water mixed with honey
I wish Dynasty would turn into a musical like glee or something so she could sing more
11:42 whats the song called??
Does anyone have the complete songlist used here?
Her lows look like Lana del Rey. I think she would be great at this tipe of music
What's her supported range ???
What is her supported range at her best please?
I think about d3 - eb5. that's what I heard.
Is that means she have 3 octaves?
4.
Is there nothing se can't do
Melaine martinez
Misael Nolasco Feliciano what about her
Kujahyun í wananna see her range
Does she support F3-B4
F♯3/G3 - A4/B♭4. Sometimes she lowered her larynx on the F♯3s but also supported a few ones. A few B♭4s were throaty. I'd say consistently G3-A4.
I'm getting Karen Carpenter vibes
