Oh, forgive my clumsy audacity, in forgetting to hate my tusks. I was so dangerously care-free, who knows what could have happened? I might have incited a herd. Of gray fleshed wall flowers, to shake the chandeliers down to the floor, with the sound of skin-smack and hip sway and unapologetic buoyancy; Thank goodness you were there. To lead me home. Your insecurities binding my wayward trunk, I am obviously a large and simple girl, Stumbled into feeling all too human with the air kissing at my unsightly skin. Like I've never felt laughter slinky walk my spine. Or deep-kissed pavement at the sound of an insult backfired from a passing car. Or felt every single knuckle in a punchline, you’d think I’d have learned by now. That this body and it’s fault-lines, they don't belong to me; my fat is a crime scene for other people’s “concern”. It seems I will swallow everything, so why not your good intentions too? Little known fact about elephants and rooms; everyone sees the elephant standing there. They all think they are the first to point her out; the first to tell her that she is an elephant. The elephant is VERY aware. She’s an elephant by nature, she cannot forget this. The room, they would never allow her to forget this; so she may as well dance. Take your bowl hook hands off of me, I am no one’s broken beast and I’ve got whole houses to shake down into clap-board and brick dust.
This one made me strip naked, get down on all fours, raise my butt cheeks in the air and straight up fart so hard I knocked my self unconscious. I woke up 6 hours later rolled up in an old rug in the back of a 1994 Ford ranger.
It's not about the space you take, it's about the cholesterol in your blood and the fat around your heart and the diabetes that's gonna take your legs. As a former fat girl, we need to stop taking things so personally and start making some different choices folks. Not everyone is out to get you. Jerks will be jerks but if you can't fit in a coffin, it's pretty sad. Seek help, that's all. And love each other

I'm saying that the "problem" with being in an unhealthy weight isn't what people think. It's that we're destroying ourselves. There's no privilege in being thin once you've been fat because you always feel fat and you have so much lose skin that your body is gross. So, no, I'm not really enjoying anything EXCEPT the fact that I can sit better, walk better and I'm out of depression. My issues with food have not gone anywhere though, so yes, I am regaining weight which is not fun. I never said we sould hide. She is amazing. You probably are too. I don't think whenever someone mentions how someone's weight could be dangerous doesn't mean they want you to not you love yourself or shame you. I think one can have legitimate concern for someone's weight and mention it to the person.

It's basically like saying, hey I think all fat people are also stupid and unaware of basic health knowledge. You don't need to inform them of their problems with your superior intellect honey, I'm sure they're well aware. Worry about making yourself a more tolerable person, not other people.
