I think running a business, working on your own cars and fitting in valuable family time must be exhausting, so every video is interesting! Thanks for the work!

A question I have I would love to help answered is where can we find jaguar parts these days? Example I have a 1979 XJS and I'm looking for some rear bumper components and I've been looking for years and can't seem to find them. Any advice? and or any sources you recommend for parts overall. Thanks for the great videos. Looking forward to the upcoming videos on the other cars. Also have a great trip coming over to our side of the pond! Stay safe brother

Often I have read some strange claims about the Jaguar XJC 2-door coupé: a) a vinyl roof was used because the paint finish could not be made good enough, b) that part of the difficulty with paint finish was a lack of structural rigidty, c) that the roof is 'cut-and-shut' i.e. made up of pieces welded together. I've always doubted the veracity of these claims - especially c) - since the XJC has the same wheelbase as the original XJ6 so why would the roof need to be made of two 'halves' welded together 'in the middle'. I imagine that the roof is different at the sides beside the windows and different edge pieces may be welded in there. So, Adam, could you address / clarify these points? Perhaps using the naked roof of the Fern Grey C in your workshop as evidence. Tack tack!

Hi. For the q&a. Your S type had an automatic transmission and you want to convert to manual transmission what kind of manual transmissions would fit on the 3.8. Is it similar on a 3.4 engine ? I am asking this question as I have a 3.4 automatic s-type. Thanks Guy

Great! My XJ40 is all back together with a new head gasket and running super super well. I'm very pleased with its new performance, as it was quite slow before. It's a 91 Canadian Sovereign, which is the same spec as the Daimler Adam had, but in beige and no fluted grill.
