in this line tails i create metalix To defeat furnace metal, seeing that he couldn't with eggman, he began to grab machinery to create it where, in the end, metalix would be stronger than furnace metal
An idea for lore: During the fight with Mecha Sonic, Knuckles was about to glide into Mecha Sonic when he jumped out the way. Knuckles collided with the Master Emerald and went Hyper. With his new power, he punched Mecha Sonic out of orbit and far into space where his battery was draining. His desperate efforts to return failed and took more battery. Now just floating space junk, he floated around until he slipped into a worm hole and was sent to the universe where Starved is. He emerged but got immediately smacked by a meteor but survived with only a dent. He went barreling into Mobius, where he landed into a pond not too far from the area Robotnik has control of. Robotnik was quick to investigate and saw a robot similar to Furnace but not exactly the same. For starters, the dent, the colours, the actual furnace part, the heavily charred parts from falling and much more. Robotnik was quick to fix this beaten down robot because who the hell would leave such a perfectly good robot destroyed? After some repairing, it just needed battery. After some charging time, Robotnik turned it on. Quickly, Mecha Sonic blasted off to Star Dust Speedway in search of the battle to continue. While he was charging at near top speed, Furnace caught up and tried catching Mecha Sonic, who outsped him and continued the race. Not too long after, Robotnik returned and tried to catch Mecha Sonic, who went top speed again and was about to outspeed when Furnace struck and Mecha Sonic fell apart due to being unfinished. He was returned back to base and was put aside for scrap due to the amount of damage sustained. Furnace also suffered, having sustained a huge dent and a broken door.
a massive injustice to the metallic madness that can solo almost all of the inhabitants on Mobius without even using the chaos emeralds. however, i do like the creativity used here

Mecha Sonic vs. Furnace was a thought constantly running through my head. But obviously the winner of the fight would be Mecha. The two robots were built to kill, but Mecha is just built much stronger. Quite literally "built different". Furnace wouldn't even get the chance to see his super form because he'd already be in pieces.
Furnace is much Faster, Mecha always had the problem of being strong, but much too slow. And he's very aggressive, which won't help him with a fast enemy
Mecha knows this isn't his real creator. He's fighting the other machines possibly even Metal. But fighting Starved is hard for him. Because he want's to obey Eggman but he knows this isn't HIS Creator. Mecha Sonic was wanting to help sonic. He knows that he's ordered by EGGMAN not STARVED. To hurt Sonic or get rid of him. But he knows its brutal enough to eat his insides. So he's protecting Sonic from this monstrosity version of his creator. He's possibly one of the only ones not being controlled/ordered by starved. Either that or Tails rewrote his code to protect Sonic from starved.
Mecha Sonic serves no one, he is his own master, Mecha won't hesistate to kill Eggman btw. He want to kill Sonic as well collect all 7 chaos emeralds to become a God

@@pokeluis2002 Well, all he did was capture and cook little flickies one by one or a small group, not all of a sudden teleporting them into his stomach that could basically only fit Sonic's size (and has shown nothing where he could eat everything all at once by the creator). Cooking animals doesn't really add to his feats. He's essentially just a buffed up Metal Sonic that could only battle the classics at best.
I like to imagine in this version of prey mecha isn't running from furnace, but is instead holding his ground I also just realized that mecha's voice is pico's
i like the idea of metallix/mecha sonic being built by tails in this timeline. perhaps he’s originally very much like sonic initially and echoes a lot of his cheerful and teasing demeanor, sort of like how he acts in SatAM or AoStH, but somehow gets removed from the continuity of the timelines; the time stones causing him to have fragmented memories and only remember how Starved eats the flickies. he gains a grim outlook and either starts trying to mercy kill the animals and/or Sonic’s friends or he starts trying to kill Starved before he gets his hands on the Time Stones- something Sonic wouldn’t really think to do (he never really considers killing Eggman in the main series, mainly just putting a stop to his schemes) edit: you get some hypothetical dialogue for this covers as well - initial build, before Time Stone resets Mecha: There have been too many lives lost. We cannot afford more. Furnace: TARGET SPOTTED. Mecha: Heat signature detected, engaging thrusters. Keep up, scrap! - Mecha: Heh heh. Can’t even handle a simple race. Doctor, I suggest studying my counterpart rather than consuming him. Starved: Your suggestion is useless. Give up. I won’t stop even when time bends to my will! (Of course his laughter) - Mecha: Your machines are inferior to my speed! You enjoy failure that mu-?! (Screen goes to red as a metal crunch is heard. Fortunately his processors and motherboard are still mainly intact so he’s able to rebuild himself)
Honestly, Im not much of a fan of FNF, but the concept of Mecha becoming self aware in a world basically consisting entirely of hopelessness and trying to restore it to normal, doesn't sound too bad as a standalone story. I mean, I could see him reactivating Metal and Silver Sonic (Maybe even Gamma, had he been built at the time) to fair a better chance against the unfair odds.
First one of these I haven't seen with fan dialogue added in comments... Guess I'll take a stab at it, just because. Metal: "Now that I've reached where those pitiful hedgehogs have sent the emeralds, it's just a matter of locating the rest of them... hm, this place looks more dead than my own universe." This feels like a more "Confronting Yourself" situation considering that Furnace is the successor to Mecha MK III and is the equivalent to Metal Sonic. But MK III is obviously bound to win if you take note of how he acts in Sonic 3/& Knuckles. He is the final boss in & Knuckles so he has an upper-hand here.
3 & Knuckles takes place AFTER Sonic CD in the timeline, so that means Mecha is the successor to Metal (Furnace in the Starved universe) in a chronological sense. And if Furnace replaces Metal in the Starved Universe, imagine how a Mecha Furnace Sonic would be like...
I imagine this is a universe where Mecha Sonic would be furnace, but went rouge like in SMBZ. So, Starved rebuilds Metal into Furnace and this fight ensues
Well furnace is made to cook larger animals and to fight at the same time making furnace basically a weaker version of metal sonic sense it’s basically split in 2 things, think of it as a computer program running 2 tabs at the same time, while metal is made to 100% replicate sonic but with a metal armor to help him withstand attacks
i can see that mecha sonic whilst possibly trying to get the chaos emeralds they accidentally discover a new universe and gain chaos emeralds from the universe he just discovered. but wait somethings... off
everyone saying Mecha would win, but he dosen't have his Master Emerald here by his side. Its just Mecha III by himself, no Badniks or Doctor can come here to aid him. Most likely Mecha would win the initial scrap (heh), but Mecha III is a complicated machine with a ton of complicated parts. Parts that eventually need to be replaced cause they'd wear down- and while I do not doubt Mecha as being smart and able to fix himself- seeing Furnace looking more akin to Silver Sonic- clunky, gray, and generally what with Furnace being more clunky and less streamlined unlike Metal Sonic or Mecha. I'd imagine over time Mecha would have to substitute his more 'over-engineered' parts for lesser ones- causing him to slow down and thus Furnace could keep up and potentially win- or Mecha would just rust and decay and have no way of being able to sustain himself, and eventually Furnace and Starved would win. Not to mention even if Mecha beats Furnace to blasted bolts and bits in his intial encounter- its shown here that Furnace is able recover quickly- seen when he crashes and burns. Furnace may be a box of junk compared to Mecha, but its a resilient box of junk. Thus in a cruel fate of irony, Mecha III would be killed by a war of attrition against Starved- Mecha's own complex machinery would break and fail while Furnace's 'outdated' design would be able to withstand wear and tear. He's good, but he's "too good".
Actually, the Mecha from Friday Night Funkin' is from Super Mario Bros Z. That one curbstomps anyone he comes across. Furnace only won against Sonic because Sonic didn't take him seriously. On the other hand, Sonic couldn't beat SMBZ Mecha even when taking him seriously, making SMBZ Mecha deadlier than Furnace. Furnace doesn't stand a chance to SMBZ Mecha.
after a miscalculation in mecha sonic's reality warping device, instead of landing in the mushroom kingdom where his emeralds are located, he instead traveled to an alternate version of his own world. in his haste, mecha sonic traveled through this surprisingly intact version of his home world. eventually he encountered starved eggman after he had picked up a signal from one of his own robots. mecha sonic: Doctor? I thought you were the first miserable life i had ended when i started my crusade for the emeralds. starved: Now why would I program such a disloyal machine? mecha sonic: It matters not, if your not dead, I'll just finish the job this time. starved: I don't think so... FURNACE, ATTACK! mecha sonic: Sending a downgraded silver sonic after me, doctor? this wont be a battle, it will be a slaughter. starved: I agree, however it will not be me who shall be slaughtered, IT SHALL BE YOU! after mecha sonic has his fun with furnace, he swiftly ends the robot by grabbing it by the back of the throat and crashing it into the road as they are still moving at high speeds. this severely damages furnace, but one swift kick to the head was all that was needed to finish of the flaming faker. mecha sonic: Well doctor... it seems as though your flying oven wasn't as powerful as you thought it was. starved: N-no, this cant be happening! mecha sonic: it looks like your time has run out, doctor. starved is now at deaths door, seeing this powerful of a robot is beyond starved eggman's understanding. mecha sonic lifts his hand and swiftly cuts starved in half. mecha sonic: well, that was disappointing... later, mecha sonic finds a chaos emerald, he uses said chaos emerald to travel to the universe where sonic had sent the original emeralds, this however destroys the emerald mecha sonic is holding. mecha sonic finally lands in the mushroom kingdom at the beginning of Super Mario Brothers Z

This got me thinking Who would win? Furnace or Regular Metal Sonic? Metal Sonic wins in a fight between THEM, but obviously, for Sonic, Furnace beats Sonic. This is because Metal Sonic likes to challenge Sonic and prove he is better, but Furnace was made for capture and killing.

Everytime i listen to this I always get that some how Furnace and Mecha end up being friends and towards the end instead of Furnace killing Mecha, Furnace actually rams into Starved's eggship thing killing Starved.

Honestly I just realized that furnace looks alot more like mecha sonic/metallix than metal sonic Hell all parts of furnace are very similar in design and location to metallix and that makes me think starved wanted someone to be able to not just match sonic but surpass him, has metallix is a more combat oriented version of the robo sonic line

1 know everyone says that Mecha Sonic would win so to make things fair and much more interesting. Let's say that while Mecha Sonic has the Chaos Emeralds, Starved has the all of the time stones and Furnace Sonic has all of the Sol Emeralds (because fire). And let's say, like how Mecha Sonic can become Super Mecha Sonic, Furnace Sonic is able to become Burning Furnace Sonic. This paired with the fact that Starved can potentially negate any damage done to Burning Furnace Sonic as well as counter any time related abilities from the Chaos Emeralds, who would win in a fight and/or race?

You forget that Furnace killed Sonic (who is much more durable than Mecha Sonic btw) in a head on collision and wasn't destroyed. So, in reality, Mecha would be shocked to realize that Furnace is tearing through him
The only way I see this happening is in a battle with shadic, metallix gets launched into space where he reverts to his mecha form and checks his damage and learns that it will take 5 years for his auto repair system to regenerate him the his prime. so he waits in space until he has five more days, then a wormhole sucks him into the starved universe and lands him in stardust speedway. Dialog: Mecha: I seem to be in an alternate universe's speedway ??: possible threat spotted: commencing retirement Mecha: my sensors read...smoke? After furnace's part Mecha: it does contain useful upgrades but it's still trash. Wouldn't you agree...doctor? Starved: you don't even know your fate hedge-- who are you? Not too long after, Robotnik returned and tried to catch Mecha Sonic, who went top speed again and was about to outspeed when Furnace struck and Mecha Sonic fell apart due to being unfinished. He was returned back to base and was put aside for scrap due to the amount of damage sustained. Furnace also suffered, having sustained a huge dent and a broken door.
a massive injustice to the metallic madness that can solo almost all of the inhabitants on Mobius without even using the chaos emeralds. however, i do like the creativity used here

But obviously the winner of the fight would be Mecha. The two robots were built to kill, but Mecha is just built much stronger. Quite literally "built different".
Furnace wouldn't even get the chance to see his super form because he'd already be in pieces.

Furnace is much Faster, Mecha always had the problem of being strong, but much too slow. And he's very aggressive, which won't help him with a fast enemy
And if this is the SMBZ version, Mecha has more of an advantage since in his past life, he's the same guy as Metal Sonic.

Mecha knows this isn't his real creator. He's fighting the other machines possibly even Metal. But fighting Starved is hard for him. Because he want's to obey Eggman but he knows this isn't HIS Creator. Mecha Sonic was wanting to help sonic. He knows that he's ordered by EGGMAN not STARVED. To hurt Sonic or get rid of him. But he knows its brutal enough to eat his insides. So he's protecting Sonic from this monstrosity version of his creator. He's possibly one of the only ones not being controlled/ordered by starved. Either that or Tails rewrote his code to protect Sonic from starved.
Mecha Sonic serves no one, he is his own master, Mecha won't hesistate to kill Eggman btw. He want to kill Sonic as well collect all 7 chaos emeralds to become a God

@@pokeluis2002 Well, all he did was capture and cook little flickies one by one or a small group, not all of a sudden teleporting them into his stomach that could basically only fit Sonic's size (and has shown nothing where he could eat everything all at once by the creator). Cooking animals doesn't really add to his feats. He's essentially just a buffed up Metal Sonic that could only battle the classics at best.

i like the idea of metallix/mecha sonic being built by tails in this timeline. perhaps he’s originally very much like sonic initially and echoes a lot of his cheerful and teasing demeanor, sort of like how he acts in SatAM or AoStH, but somehow gets removed from the continuity of the timelines; the time stones causing him to have fragmented memories and only remember how Starved eats the flickies. he gains a grim outlook and either starts trying to mercy kill the animals and/or Sonic’s friends or he starts trying to kill Starved before he gets his hands on the Time Stones- something Sonic wouldn’t really think to do (he never really considers killing Eggman in the main series, mainly just putting a stop to his schemes)

Honestly, Im not much of a fan of FNF, but the concept of Mecha becoming self aware in a world basically consisting entirely of hopelessness and trying to restore it to normal, doesn't sound too bad as a standalone story. I mean, I could see him reactivating Metal and Silver Sonic (Maybe even Gamma, had he been built at the time) to fair a better chance against the unfair odds.

3 & Knuckles takes place AFTER Sonic CD in the timeline, so that means Mecha is the successor to Metal (Furnace in the Starved universe) in a chronological sense.

Well furnace is made to cook larger animals and to fight at the same time making furnace basically a weaker version of metal sonic sense it’s basically split in 2 things, think of it as a computer program running 2 tabs at the same time, while metal is made to 100% replicate sonic but with a metal armor to help him withstand attacks

everyone saying Mecha would win, but he dosen't have his Master Emerald here by his side. Its just Mecha III by himself, no Badniks or Doctor can come here to aid him. Most likely Mecha would win the initial scrap (heh), but Mecha III is a complicated machine with a ton of complicated parts. Parts that eventually need to be replaced cause they'd wear down- and while I do not doubt Mecha as being smart and able to fix himself- seeing Furnace looking more akin to Silver Sonic- clunky, gray, and generally what with Furnace being more clunky and less streamlined unlike Metal Sonic or Mecha. I'd imagine over time Mecha would have to substitute his more 'over-engineered' parts for lesser ones- causing him to slow down and thus Furnace could keep up and potentially win- or Mecha would just rust and decay and have no way of being able to sustain himself, and eventually Furnace and Starved would win. Not to mention even if Mecha beats Furnace to blasted bolts and bits in his intial encounter- its shown here that Furnace is able recover quickly- seen when he crashes and burns. Furnace may be a box of junk compared to Mecha, but its a resilient box of junk.
Thus in a cruel fate of irony, Mecha III would be killed by a war of attrition against Starved- Mecha's own complex machinery would break and fail while Furnace's 'outdated' design would be able to withstand wear and tear. He's good, but he's "too good".

Actually, the Mecha from Friday Night Funkin' is from Super Mario Bros Z. That one curbstomps anyone he comes across. Furnace only won against Sonic because Sonic didn't take him seriously. On the other hand, Sonic couldn't beat SMBZ Mecha even when taking him seriously, making SMBZ Mecha deadlier than Furnace. Furnace doesn't stand a chance to SMBZ Mecha.

after a miscalculation in mecha sonic's reality warping device, instead of landing in the mushroom kingdom where his emeralds are located, he instead traveled to an alternate version of his own world. in his haste, mecha sonic traveled through this surprisingly intact version of his home world. eventually he encountered starved eggman after he had picked up a signal from one of his own robots.
mecha sonic: Doctor? I thought you were the first miserable life i had ended when i started my crusade for the emeralds.
starved: Now why would I program such a disloyal machine?
mecha sonic: It matters not, if your not dead, I'll just finish the job this time.
starved: I don't think so... FURNACE, ATTACK!
mecha sonic: Sending a downgraded silver sonic after me, doctor? this wont be a battle, it will be a slaughter.
starved: I agree, however it will not be me who shall be slaughtered, IT SHALL BE YOU!
after mecha sonic has his fun with furnace, he swiftly ends the robot by grabbing it by the back of the throat and crashing it into the road as they are still moving at high speeds. this severely damages furnace, but one swift kick to the head was all that was needed to finish of the flaming faker.
mecha sonic: Well doctor... it seems as though your flying oven wasn't as powerful as you thought it was.
starved: N-no, this cant be happening!
mecha sonic: it looks like your time has run out, doctor.
starved is now at deaths door, seeing this powerful of a robot is beyond starved eggman's understanding. mecha sonic lifts his hand and swiftly cuts starved in half.
mecha sonic: well, that was disappointing...
later, mecha sonic finds a chaos emerald, he uses said chaos emerald to travel to the universe where sonic had sent the original emeralds, this however destroys the emerald mecha sonic is holding.
mecha sonic finally lands in the mushroom kingdom at the beginning of Super Mario Brothers Z

The only way I see this happening is in a battle with shadic, metallix gets launched into space where he reverts to his mecha form and checks his damage and learns that it will take 5 years for his auto repair system to regenerate him the his prime. so he waits in space until he has five more days, then a wormhole sucks him into the starved universe and lands him in stardust speedway.
