Fleetway js Sonic who got exposed to the evil energy that the Chaos Emeralds absorbed, so in a way Sonic took out Starved before he had a chance to kill him.
Backstory: After the events of SA2 Eggman stumbles across a burnt flicky and..you know the rest. After his transformation into Starved he quickly begins making robots to catch and cook flickies more efficiently. Meanwhile Starved finishes making Furnace. His first command for the robot is to catch and cook Amy Rose. Furnace does this successfully. After the disappearance of Amy Sonic and Tails begin searching for her. And Sonic finds himself on stardust speedway. He confronts Starved about Amy’s disappearance and try’s to use the Chaos emeralds. This to both of their surprise turns him into Fleetway. Upon seeing this weird new form starved retreats. Little did he even know Shadow was also there looking for Amy. Starved’s greed overtakes him and he commands Furnace to catch Shadow before retreating. Furnace tries to lead Shadow into the trap that was meant for sonic, but before it could Fleetway catches up and sends Starved crashing into the Speedway. Shadow recognizes that there’s something wrong with Sonic. And instead of sticking around he teleports away. He then begrudgingly finds Tails and informs him as to what’s going on. It’s now up to Shadow and Tails to avenge Amy and turn Sonic back to normal.
Great work! Fleetway was a surprise, but even before he showed up I think Shadow’s serious personality would have saved him unlike Sonic’s cocky attitude. Shadow tries to take out enemy as quickly as possible with his Chaos Powers.
@Cocna reminder that Sega forced the IDW Shadow to not evolve as a character. Also in that comic it was revealed chaos energy destroys the metal virus... so the writers and sega literally screwed shadow over. Since Chaos manipulation is like Shadow’s main thing.
I love how after Starved's cutscene ends, Fleetway just busts in and he's the main attraction instead. Shows that when sonic got replaced with shadow, sonic didn't just disappear. He's still here, but in different terms now.. And that's what makes this cover unique.
God fleetway vs shadow is so sick. Their chromatics are perfect for each other. Plus the new sprites for them, oh my god. Also the idea that shadow is still flying forward after his bike disappears really fits his character, showing how fast he rides with little to no care

Ok so everyone forgets that shadow has rocket skates so I think it would be cool as fuck if shadow and sonic pulled a reverse on them. -Shadow starts off the song -at the end of furnaces turn shadow jumps off the side of the raceway and sonic takes over. -During the part of the song where furnace is flying under the bridge and his focus is on sonic, shadow uses his rocket skates to take out furnace from the front like furnace did to sonic. -The song progresses into a mad dash with shadow and sonic chasing down starved

My only major criticism is that Furnace's vocals are up by an octave as though he inhaled helium, but other than that, it's a stellar cover! I'm really digging it!
Why's Furnace voice up high then normal, and shadow having perpetual silence? Did it have to do with the coding, or was it something else? Outside of those small things, nice work! Keep it up.
As for the voice of Furnace being higher than the original, at first I tried to make it the same pitch as the original, but that would have lost some of the sound, so I made it higher. Shadow doesn't say a word because I couldn't think of what to have him say.

Sounds pretty cool, guessing this is the Shadow voice from the Tails gets trolled mod? Ha and I’ll say Fleetway surprised me, but it works XD. Just throwing it out there. Shadow isn’t in many creepypastas is he? I get it’s partly because a lot of them take place in the classic era, but when it is possible to use him he isn’t used. I just guess it’s because he is a bit stronger and then most characters beside Sonic and it would either be too much work to explain how he too is afraid of such a threat and just not ruin a hopeless tone. Not saying he’s invincible, but he would be harder to write for in such a story then with Tails, Eggman, Amy, or Cream.
I have a story about this: So after starved eats sonic he tries to eat shadow but In this version sonic isn’t actually dead from furnace just badly wounded and taken to robotniks layer to mentally torture him showing other mobians he killed. Meanwhile shadow is going to save sonic and meets furnace who he beats with relative ease. Starved comes on the scene but the stress from seeing the body’s made sonic transform and kill starved

Just throwing it out there. Shadow isn’t in many creepypastas is he? I get it’s partly because a lot of them take place in the classic era, but when it is possible to use him he isn’t used. I just guess it’s because he is a bit stronger and then most characters beside Sonic and it would either be too much work to explain how he too is afraid of such a threat and just not ruin a hopeless tone. Not saying he’s invincible, but he would be harder to write for in such a story then with Tails, Eggman, Amy, or Cream.

So after starved eats sonic he tries to eat shadow but In this version sonic isn’t actually dead from furnace just badly wounded and taken to robotniks layer to mentally torture him showing other mobians he killed.
Meanwhile shadow is going to save sonic and meets furnace who he beats with relative ease. Starved comes on the scene but the stress from seeing the body’s made sonic transform and kill starved
