To be fair, Mecha had this in the bag from the very begining.
After all, everything about starved an his technology is Supossed to be more primal and under-developed, making him quite inferior to an actually "up-to-date" Mecha Sonic. It would really weird if he actually managed to win this
Not to mention Furnace was built prior to Mecha Sonic's construction in the Starved Universe, automatically making him a lesser model.
Furnace doesn't have many abilities from what we've seen, with his only abilities being that of speed, and cooking Mobians.
Mecha Sonic claps him.

Also Mecha being a robot gives him resistance to heat based abilities. Robots don't cook quite as easily as mobians.

i like the idea of mecha destroying furnace, not because he wants to save everyone, but a form of retribution for himself after loosing to sonic. i would like to see a series or smth where a previously thought dead mecha teams up with sonic to beat a bigger threat

Insane work effectively using the sprites for Furnace, and beautiful work with Mecha.
It was honestly stacked in Mecha’s favor, what with all his abilities, superior armor, and unused ability to get a boost off of chaos energy. The fake out of Furnace temporarily (seemingly) deactivating Mecha was nice too.
And the time stones! That was a hilarious use of that! Great work!

I understand why furnace lost mainly due to starved only programmed him to cook and kill mobians and flickies and not for combat or battles and he only has fire attacks (THE NAME IS LEGIT FURNACE) in a artic area

Epic fight, however it was kinda unfair, mecha had durability, strength AND stamina (battery) on his side, furnace was fast but in the end he didn’t even knew his fate. It would be epic if there was a round 2 of furnace for like a super form or smth and went against super form mecha

1 know everyone says that Mecha Sonic would win so to make things fair and much more interesting. Let's say that while Mecha Sonic has the Chaos Emeralds, Starved has the all of the time stones and Furnace Sonic has all of the Sol Emeralds (because fire). And let's say, like how Mecha Sonic can become Super Mecha Sonic, Furnace Sonic is able to become Burning Furnace Sonic. This paired with the fact that Starved can potentially negate any damage done to Burning Furnace Sonic as well as counter any time related abilities from the Chaos Emeralds, who would win in a fight and/or race?

Bro this is so good, also impressed with how much you were able to do with Furnace.
I could see this going both ways even tho Mecha is y'know a machine built for combat and Furnace is built to be a fast cooking device supposed to tank a high speed hit (maybe not supposed to tank such a hit but we dont know in what state he is in afterwards and we know the hit was REAL loud so he may or may not be in pieces in that scenario)
It’s confirmed that neither Sonic nor Furnace survived that collision. But no, Furnace stands no chance against Mecha Sonic. Furnace is built to keep up with Sonic and cook Flickies, Mecha Sonic is purely designed to kill Sonic and perhaps Knuckles and thus is optimized for combat.

it actually makes sense since furnace is mostly developed for cooking and hunting and robotnik lost his weapons during his base destroyed and he spend more time eating the animals not reasearching how to capture animals and defeat sonic but in sonic 3 metallix is better with armour and faster can stand in winter with no promblem it’s no suprise that metallix won🤓🤓
While mecha has many things over furnace needing more abilities to fight sonic rather than cook him

Personally I love Sonic and knuckles the game this really boosted my biased opinion of this specific Mecha sonic being my favorite and best people really be over overestimating knuckles, locals was able to one shot a super sonic off-guard which is pretty impressive in my opinion even though supersonic was off guard but still personally knuckles is probably close or even my favorite character it sucks that he doesn't really feel any special character anymore after his rule as the short antagonist was finished they really made them seem like he was dumb but he wasn't dumb he pretty much had knowledge about the chaos emeralds which I think is pretty smart knowing about the chaos emeralds and the master emerald. Call me biased all you want because it's pretty much true I already accepted it lol.

false; furnace is metal sonic, while mecha sonic is, well, _mecha_ sonic. they're both eggman's creations, but mecha is simply a stronger machine meant to eliminate sonic
@@SoməøneXD No, they’re both Mecha, it’s just that Furnace is a Mecha variant specifically for cooking Mobians.
This is due to the fact that Mecha Sonic was the original design before Metal Sonic came to be.
And if we cross reference sprite sheets of both Mecha and Metal with Furnace’s limited sprites, we see that Furnace shares more characteristics with Mecha than Metal.
Edit: Due to some quick research because the timeline of Mecha/Metal Sonic is confusing, and some research of Furnace himself, I’m 95% certain that Furnace is actually what would have been Mecha Sonic, had Starved not developed his hunger, as supposedly in the timeline, Mecha comes after Metal.
And Furnace is a heavily revised and improved version of Metal.
TL;DR: Metal Sonic lore is confusing, but I’m still convinced that Furnace is the Mecha equivalent in the Starved timeline.

Y'don't even have to get into how they're fundamentally built different- Speed and power enough to contend with Sonic, even if it obviously wasn't enough to match or surpass him compared to killed Sonic by ramming him while he was off guard after pretending to shut down- but it's easy enough to point out Starved is from CD Time, and only has that data to work with since it wasn't outright stated he abused the Time Stones beyond repeating the loop to cook, while the Ivo that built Mecha Sonic had enough time to gather data on a more experienced Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles when the third was starting off strong, as well as the "access to the Master Emerald since he got Knuckles to trust him" bonus.
