How I reset the error codes on GE washer

- I am NOT an appliance technician and you should not listen to me. I am simply sharing my story about how our GE washer suddenly and inexplicably stopped working and how I got it back in service. Please consult a proper applicant technician. This happened several months back and so part of this is from memory. I cannot provide sound advice on how to troubleshoot your washer problem. I can show you the steps I took to fix mine. Ours worked great after I reset the error codes.
GE washer code 26 / 19 / 14 troubleshooting
26 = unbalanced load
19 = machine paused for more than 24 hours or water in tub
14 = water level sensor fault
Machine would randomly try to drain but no water visible in tub.
Lid was locked and would not unlock.
Power reset / pull didnt work
Entering consumer mode :Press start key for 10 seconds
Read the error code from the machine (mine was 26, 19, then 14)
press power to exit
To enter technician mode
Hold start and turn cycle selection counterclockwise 7 clicks and release start button
Correct / test issues
Press and hold Start/Pause until E00 displays. - Фільми й анімація

The washing machine keeps showing le flashing it will tinge then start flashing not a lot of water going in the washing machine little
I would recommend running through the steps and if those things dont work, then you're going to need more professional help. I am just a guy who my wife asked for help on the washer that was misbehaving so my experience is super limited.
My machine will turn on but the start button will not work when pressed. I tried holding the start button for 10 secs and nothing happens. I turned the dial 7 clocks also while holding start button and nothing happens. Machine powers on but that’s about it.
I'm not in appliance repair, but these have circuit boards in them and it sounds like a bad control board.
My Temp/Soil/Spin buttons (ge gtw680bsj6ws model) sometimes don't work (no matter how hard I press)...is that a motherboard issue and needs to be replaced?
Im no expert with appliances, but knowing electronics, the buttons there are likely a daughter board for lack of a better term connected via a cable to the mainboard. Could be a loose or bad cable, corrosion, bad board either behind those buttons or on the mainboard. If I felt comfortable doing it, I'd pull that apart, check the cable connections and then assuming they are plugin and not soldered, put some dielectric grease on the connections and plug it back in to see if it does better. Intermittent issues like that seem to often be bad electrical or data connections, usually from the cable with the electronics I've worked with.
How do you fix lid issue
Sorry - as in unlocking the lid?
This is how I recall doing it - Hold start and turn cycle selection counterclockwise 7 clicks and release start button to enter technician mode and then Press and hold Start/Pause until E00 displays.

I’m confused how did you read the error codes from the machine?
On mine, I held down the start button for 10 seconds. That entered user mode and displayed the errors. Once I had them written down, I held the start button and rotated the wash mode 7 clicks
How do you reset the locked botton when the start button keeps beeping?
