It is, weirdly the "best" somehow. The Artifacts are at there most useful, upgrading guns is really fun and makes them powerful, lots of enemies to shoot, great graphics and better & expanded maps! But it requires SRP and a respawn fix to actually be great!
What i hated about CS is the imbalance between NPC weaponry and their accuracy, compared to that of a player. NPCs can snipe from hundred meters with unapgraded AK74 while you need to fully upgrade it through accuracy route to have like a half of their long range capabilities. At the same time, faction wars related AI doesn't support usage of sniper rifles, you can "upgrade" Freedom all you want, they will still rush in with their sniper rifles if on assault, sometimes into literal shotgun range. And while defending, as long as the game doesn't decide they are actually fighting what was coming- they don't snipe sh1t. Hence, Duty is favored extremely in Faction wars, as their weaponry is more suited for such dumb AI rushes, and as pointed before- once duty aggros on you, its irrelevant what weapon they carry, they will shred you from ridiculous distances.
I still really like clear sky, and this video made me crack up. Scar just being like lmao no and climbing trees to escape the clear sky base is hilarious 😂

couldnt do the elevator glitch to save my life. So i ended up making multiple saves outside the lab, and broke the door so badly it would go back crooked and it would allow me to low crouch under it. worked great ridiculous video lmao
A small tip if you cant do the quick F and Esc spam.. just save before doing the glitch, then do like sets of spam.. like if there was 5 spams done correctly,, save and continue from there. if failed, load the last saved where u done it correctly for 5 times...and continue :3 (idk if y'all understand, my English is bad.
Goddamn. Did you learn from The Liquidator or something? I haven't seen Zone Stalkin of this caliber since those days on the GSC forums when The Liquidator was making daily excursions through out of bounds zones and cheesing every inch of architecture possible.
8:15 That box may look well-guarded, but it's not impossible to take cover that is closer to the enemies. I did exactly that but instead of PKM, I killed the enemies with Makarov. Yes, you heard that right. With goddamn Makarov, because I forgot to pick up something much more effective than that. So, feel free to shoot them a bit closer. Just be sure to avoid grenades. You can lure them to throw grenades at you until they run out of them and become easier targets.
Okay so update for console ports because I had time to check it out So far everything works in the beginning except for taking the items from the technician it's the only thing that didn't want to work for me at all.
I mean you really don't need to. Artifacts regenerate in COP and nimble can get you shit on order. I'd fck around in the swamps just artifact hunting and weapons dealing after every emission. There's no possible way you CANT walk out of the skadovsk with the Tide, Storm, Frasier, SVU-2A, SVU-mk2 etc. literally there is a free svu-mk2 with ammo and vintar bc in the skadovsk area. There's also an "emission glitch" where you can go to the workshop door in the iron forest where item 62 is and by careful spamming save reload by the door during an emission it will open. I could never figure out the gun door technique so I used emission save spam. Also if you get the gauss early it forces you to "chapter 3" so no yaniv underground. There is no way ur ass can't be loaded and goated by the time you head to yaniv in COP even on Master difficulty
Honestly the hardest fking part of any stalker game is what I do to my self; "keep NPC's alive challenge". Now that's a goddamn impossibility. Nimble dies if I come back to cordon in SoC. In clear sky drifter and hound just DIE when you leave the village. Almost all NPC's not at a base or programed not at a base are killed by the world just because your presence renders them in existence just to DIE. Sometimes I wouldn't save awl and petruha until just before evac because I got tired of saving ppl only to FIND THEIR CORPSES FACE DOWN IN A PUDDLE
start a new game, find the group of stalkers and ask to go to skadovsk, but do not go yet and keep it open, sell all your items and rebuy from the group till it's below 300, get negative money, go to sultan's mission but tell the artifact guy i forgot his name to be on his own, go to the mission, hand over the money now you have infinite money

I did not know the cave artifact was radioactive so I was constantly be irradiated, it was raining for awhile so I thought the rain was radioactive. I used up all my anti rad so I trapped myself in a spawn loop where I die like 2 seconds after I load in. Just an heads up for everyone why they are being constantly irritated after equipping a random artifact/anomaly.
Made almost 300k from duping the merchants inventory at the beginning. Drop the weapons and ammo. Sell the meds to stalkers and knives to the bartender. Can't sell the detectors to anyone at spawn but they don't weigh anything so you can keep and sell later.

Interesting, me like breaking games! It is an art, unlike using mods or console commands. I just abuse the quick save/load trick for combat. The enemy AI gets "zoned" and they forget to attack you. Once they even traded with me, when I was a good distance away they remembered we are enemies. Stalker is The best playable bug!
I've been following along the guide (currently on xbox s/x) however, I've reached the point in the guide where I am at the yantar lab, but whenever I glitch inside and go to leave after buying the supplies (using the elevator glitch just like in the vid) I instantly die as soon as I glitch outside the lab. I don't know if there's a step I'm missing to prevent that, but currently I am stuck at this part in the guide. Everything else so far has worked (excluding the clipping into the technician's hut at the start did not seem to work), but maybe there is a console port issue that prevents the yantar lab glitch from working for some reason. If anyone else has managed to get it to work pls let me know thnx
Okay, so I managed to find a way around needing to elevator glitch inside the lab so I was able to get the supplies. What I ended up doing was glitching the lab door like in the vid, but I made sure to make a save and reload until the door glitched completely off the lab and remained open. Then I ran into the lab and quickly got the ammo and armor and dipped back out of the lab with door still gone. So if you get to this part (might only be an issue for console users) just make sure to keep a save outside the lab and reload that save if the door doesn't glitch properly or if the door closes behind you once you enter the lab since elevator glitching seems to result in death no matter where you do it. Hope this helps fellow stalkers!

how it worked for me: - join the stalkers at the Cordon - complete 3 out of 4 strategic goals (capturing the Depot at the Garbage is not mandatory) - the group must have the maximum resource indicator - complete the main task at Yantar (return to Agroprom before going to the Red Forest) If it does not appear for sale, you just need to save/load a few times
@@xaropy Man my fingers hurt now :P you got to press F and 1milli second after ESC. You can also stop and save from time to time (so you dont have to start with zero) and get more from him. Its all about the timing and pace.
