It's about the 2014 war in the Donbass and it is very charming due to being terribly made and also created from a certain political perspective. Interesting, me like breaking games! It is an art, unlike using mods or console commands. I just abuse the quick save/load trick for combat. The enemy AI gets "zoned" and they forget to attack you. Once they even traded with me, when I was a good distance away they remembered we are enemies. Stalker is The best playable bug!

fun fact - this mod had a fan made 2023 remaster which fixes many issues and make the mod more enjoyable while keeping the charm of the original, I don't think it has translation but there is a more modern version of it edit: oh I see this version also has no translation

I can't help but feel peak STALKER modding wasn't just ripping models or cutscenes from another game but specifically using the spriggan from Skyrim. This must be the C0DA or godhood Kirkbride talked about in his ramblings after working with Bethesda in doing TES deep lore. The Zone must be a plane of Oblivion.
