Hi there, after 10 minutes of melting the wax completely, you should always check the temperature. Beeswax has a high melting point and you want the temperature to be between 68 and 70 degrees before putting fragrance oil into the melted wax. Always check the flashpoints of your fragrance oil (the flashpoint for honey is 95 degrees so this is fine to include in the wax at 70 degrees..) The more fragrance oil you more in, the stronger the scent throw so you will only need 10ml in this example.
It also helps if you pre-heat the containers, do not pour the wax into cool containers as the wax sets very quickly!

I have a question.... do you have to have hob on while you are melting the wax? Like underneath the pot of boiling water? if so what should it be on?

Yes the heat should be on a low/medium setting to gradually melt your wax. Happy candle making! :)

How would you heat the glass containers?

Hi, I noticed that your beautiful beeswax candles didn't have sinkholes in the middle. How did you manage that? I've tried to lower the temperature for my beeswax when pouring, but it still creates the sinkholes 😭

Hi, we would recommend warming the candle glasses before adding the wick and wax. You could also poke a few holes around the wick and then carefully heat the surface of the wax with a heat gun to smooth the surface.

Hi Mary, these wicks are our TCR 21/12 wicks. These are available online here: cosyowl.com/candle-wicks/tcr-series-wick-120mm

Thank you. What would you recommend for jar around 75mm? Can I use a wooden wick with an essential oil, are these dangerous? Of would my best bet be the eco wicks? Thanks for your help..
