Hi, I have the glass bubble ball containers (bought from yourselves) and just started making candles for family, can you tell me the wick size for the melt pool of this container . I noticed you have one wick but would this leave a tunnel effect of un melted wax? I don't want to add more wicks than necessary but I do want to get the best melt pool for this bubble ball glass :) thank you in advance.
Hi, thank you for your question. We recommend using TCR 36/20 or TCR 36/22 for both Soy and Paraffin wax. Each ingredient you add to the wax such as fragrance oil and dye can affect which candle wick you will need. The percentage of fragrance oil used, fragrance oil scent, amount of dye will be factors to consider. We suggest testing with these TCR wicks first as a guide to get started with.
All candle waxes should be poured at a temperature of 55 to 60 degrees, not only with paraffin wax?
Each wax will have its own preference and so you should always check the technical information before using a new wax.
