I envy all those who were born Christians / Catholics. I am a Jew willing to convert to Christianity though I received death threats. I trust God no matter what. In God I move and breathe and have my being. All is well and all will continue to be well.
it is refreshing that a man playing Jesus is devout disciple of Jesus Christ. Being catholic has nothing to do with it. Denominations are not in heaven. Jesus Christ is.
God knew our life together before my husband and I ever met! Faith is not believing that God can...it is knowing that he will! We tried 4 years to conceive. I prayed to St. Jude , Mary and God daily! When least expecting it my test was positive! We now have three wonderful sons, two daughter in laws and four grandchildren. We are blessed!
I believe that "The Chosen" is one of the ways that God is creating revival in America and the world. This series has given me hope and I know that souls are being saved. Thank you to all involved.

I’m quite a bit older than you Jonathan but was brought up in a very Catholic family. I attended 16 years of Catholic education. I too prayed but didn’t get it until one day that was so bad, I just said “God I can’t do this any more. I surrender to you.” Before the end of the day my prayers were answered. You are an inspiration to all. I know about Sr. Faustina mainly because I am Polish. Your testimony made me cry and I never cry. I am also a great fan of the Chosen. My daughter is bedridden with Lyme disease and lives in constant pain. If it weren’t for her belief in God, prayer and reading the Bible, I don’t believe she could have lasted this long. She has been suffering for 30 years. God bless you and continued profession of your beliefs and you part in the Chosen. 🙏🙏

I was brought up catholic and was a nun for ten years they sent me home because of my physical condition and I was deeply disappointed. I couldn’t understand why. How could they tell me how to serve God. I worked in a hospital where I met a patient who was a Christian man of God. Soon after I was so filled with the Spirit. I became a believer a borne again Christian and was water baptized. Ever since I will give my life for Jesus and watching you only gave me incentive to live my life so full of Jesus. I wish I could have the chance to meet you. I’m living in Chicago right now but I have physical health problems. I’ve had arthritis for 67 years now I’m 77 years old and wheelchair bound and going blind. I pray every night for healing but nothing changes yet. All will happen when God so wills it. Johnathan Roumie I have been a faithful Godly woman and when I saw The Chosen for the first time I cried and I knew that was he Lord God brought me to this series I had never heard of it and one night I was feeling down and I was looking for something to watch and I saw this The Chosen I put it on and watched I was so amazed because I really needed that in my life at the time I was very sick just st got out of the hospital. I grew up in a Catholic family and attended 12 years of Catholic school. My faith was very real to me from a very young age and I spent hours talking to God about all sorts of things that came to mind. I remember telling God how very much I wanted to one day have daughters so I could go shopping with them and have fun! 😂 But suddenly an image of a young boy standing on a tree branch came to me and I suddenly knew I’d have a son, and my heart was filled with a strange joy, so I asked God if He’d give me another boy close in age so they could be best friends because I didn’t know what to do with boys, and then could I have my girl? And then He asked, what if she is just like your mom? And the thought froze me, but I replied I would make sure she knew she was loved because my mother never thought she was. Around a decade later, I married a Baptist, and we conceived our adventurous little boy, and when he was four months old, we surprisingly conceived our charismatic son, and 2 and a half years later I had the baby girl I asked for. God always had it planned! (And yes, she’s very much like my mom except each one knows how especially cherished they are!) I don’t know why I felt like sharing that story. Maybe so whoever reads this knows that what Jonathan shared about surrendering to God in prayer is the best way to pray! God is very real and He does hear everything we say to Him, but His Will is much better than our own! God bless!
This had me in tears, because my dad would always tell me the same thing, A family that prays together, stays together. He passed 5 years ago of Lung Cancer and I haven’t heard that saying since. I say it to my family, but to hear those words again was beautifully said in this testimony. May God continue to bless you Jonathan.

Jonathan, I want to tell you that i saw you tell your story of finding the photo of the Devine Mercy on The Catholic Talk Show. On your mailbox retelling and seeing your passion of that particular icon grabbed my attention so that I wanted to see more of it for myself. I search through many version of pictures of the Devine Mercy comparing them to the brief moment of your viewing Finally I found the exact one. I studied it and saved it and thought it so beautiful. Cradle Catholic myself I had not been to confession in over 40 years and holy Communion was only a spiritual encounter whenever I did attend Mass. Lately watching The Chosen, watching The Catholic Talk Show I developed a very strong desire to reunite with the church, Confess and receive Communion. On Ash Wednesday this year I gathered my strength with the push of the Holy Spirit, because I really didnt cherish the thought of pouring out forty years of sins face to face with a priest. But when Father reached out his hand to me after Mass and welcomed me to his church I rushed to tell him I need confession. We met and God’s Mercy washed away all that sin and shame in that little room with Father. For my penance the priest asked if I would go to a cemetery and pray over the dead. I knew I would go to the one my family uses, Resurrection Cemetery. Driving through the gates the welcome sign always drew my attention as it was so pretty. I stopped the car there and in awe saw the picture of Christ was the exact Devine Mercy as yours! The one painting that was a challenge for us both to find I didn’t know Devine Mercy until that day of penance that set me free to pray with a pure soul. You introduced me to Devine Mercy and Devine Mercy came to me that day God bless you and continue to guide you in unforeseen ways to bring Christ to those who seek mercy. ❤

Dallas...the scene between Jesus and Mother Mary was anointed by the Holy Spirit, I believe. It was simple but extremely profound. And when Jesus kisses her and says :”Eema what would I do without you”...wow. This is true in so many levels. Keep praying and staying close to Jesus. Many souls are being covered.
That was the most eloquent, touching, frank and sincere speech I believe I've ever heard. God is using Jonathon in such a special way. When I heard his story about the woman who had just lost her adult son, I just couldn't stop the tears. He comforted her in such a humble, compassionate way. No hint of arrogance or pride that you so often see in famous people. Jonathon didn't think himself above comforting a mourning mother. It reminded me of how Jesus's mother, Mary, must've felt seeing her son crucified on the cross, knowing Jesus was innocent while also knowing that Jesus had to fulfill his purpose for being on the earth. Can you even *begin* to imagine how Mary felt? And she couldn't do a thing to stop it, nor would Jesus have allowed her to. Such a tremendous, profound sacrifice for a world full of sinners, then and those that came after and have continued ever since.

Hello Jonathan. I just watched this video actually today 3 January 2024. I listened to so many interviews you repeated your life story so many times. Almost every interview was a copy paste. I watched it’s ok. But this time I was mesmerized you really took my heart and soul, paying attention to what you said. It was so well read and said that it was fabulous. I loved it so much that I started to cry watching you. All came from your heart nothing acting or artificial. I am from Egypt my father was Greek Orthodox from Greece. I was baptized orthodox then went to private Catholic Nuns school I had to have my first communion to convert to Catholicism, my mother was Armenian catholic. So no problem. Then came to Canada married a Coptic orthodox man my hubby may he RIP 20 years ago. We got married in the Catholic Church. Then I started attending the Coptic orthodox mass fell in love with it. But I was refused communion in the Orthodox Church I had to get re baptized for a second time , yes again and I was immersed in a tub my whole body with my two teenage daughters and we became orthodox. After my husband passed for other reasons I went back to the Catholic Church and I am still there. I am still living on the memory of my beloved husband. Long story but interesting. If you ask your dad he will tell you that what the Orthodox Church asked from me was true. Must get baptized to have communion. May the blessings of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you now and forever. I was going alright until Jonathan spoke about the woman who lost her adult son recently at that time and how she reacted to Jonathan because her need for Jesus was so strong to connect with the soul of her son. Well I just lost my adult son Keanu aged 28 hit by a truck while running across a busy road late for his flight. I know what that poor mother felt and needed. She was Blessed to feel her need for Christ at that moment. I too have been Blessed by feeling Jesus throughout this terribly agonising journey. Thank you for your heartfelt testimony for Jesus' Divine Mercy for us all.

I’m quite a bit older than you Jonathan but was brought up in a very Catholic family. I attended 16 years of Catholic education. I too prayed but didn’t get it until one day that was so bad, I just said “God I can’t do this any more. I surrender to you.” Before the end of the day my prayers were answered. You are an inspiration to all. I know about Sr. Faustina mainly because I am Polish. Your testimony made me cry and I never cry. I am also a great fan of the Chosen. My daughter is bedridden with Lyme disease and lives in constant pain. If it weren’t for her belief in God, prayer and reading the Bible, I don’t believe she could have lasted this long. She has been suffering for 30 years. God bless you and continued profession of your beliefs and you part in the Chosen. 🙏🙏

I was brought up catholic and was a nun for ten years they sent me home because of my physical condition and I was deeply disappointed. I couldn’t understand why. How could they tell me how to serve God. I worked in a hospital where I met a patient who was a Christian man of God. Soon after I was so filled with the Spirit. I became a believer a borne again Christian and was water baptized. Ever since I will give my life for Jesus and watching you only gave me incentive to live my life so full of Jesus. I wish I could have the chance to meet you. I’m living in Chicago right now but I have physical health problems. I’ve had arthritis for 67 years now I’m 77 years old and wheelchair bound and going blind. I pray every night for healing but nothing changes yet. All will happen when God so wills it. Johnathan Roumie I have been a faithful Godly woman and when I saw The Chosen for the first time I cried and I knew that was he Lord God brought me to this series I had never heard of it and one night I was feeling down and I was looking for something to watch and I saw this The Chosen I put it on and watched I was so amazed because I really needed that in my life at the time I was very sick just st got out of the hospital. I grew up in a Catholic family and attended 12 years of Catholic school. My faith was very real to me from a very young age and I spent hours talking to God about all sorts of things that came to mind. I remember telling God how very much I wanted to one day have daughters so I could go shopping with them and have fun! 😂 But suddenly an image of a young boy standing on a tree branch came to me and I suddenly knew I’d have a son, and my heart was filled with a strange joy, so I asked God if He’d give me another boy close in age so they could be best friends because I didn’t know what to do with boys, and then could I have my girl? And then He asked, what if she is just like your mom? And the thought froze me, but I replied I would make sure she knew she was loved because my mother never thought she was. Around a decade later, I married a Baptist, and we conceived our adventurous little boy, and when he was four months old, we surprisingly conceived our charismatic son, and 2 and a half years later I had the baby girl I asked for. God always had it planned! (And yes, she’s very much like my mom except each one knows how especially cherished they are!) I don’t know why I felt like sharing that story. Maybe so whoever reads this knows that what
Jonathan shared about surrendering to God in prayer is the best way to pray! God is very real and He does hear everything we say to Him, but His Will is much better than our own! God bless!
This had me in tears, because my dad would always tell me the same thing, A family that prays together, stays together. He passed 5 years ago of Lung Cancer and I haven’t heard that saying since. Jonathan, I want to tell you that i saw you tell your story of finding the photo of the Devine Mercy on The Catholic Talk Show. On your mailbox retelling and seeing your passion of that particular icon grabbed my attention so that I wanted to see more of it for myself.
I search through many version of pictures of the Devine Mercy comparing them to the brief moment of your viewing
Finally I found the exact one. I studied it and saved it and thought it so beautiful.
Cradle Catholic myself I had not been to confession in over 40 years and holy Communion was only a spiritual encounter whenever I did attend Mass.
Lately watching The Chosen, watching The Catholic Talk Show I developed a very strong desire to reunite with the church, Confess and receive Communion.
On Ash Wednesday this year I gathered my strength with the push of the Holy Spirit, because I really didnt cherish the thought of pouring out forty years of sins face to face with a priest. But when Father reached out his hand to me after Mass and welcomed me to his church I rushed to tell him I need confession. We met and God’s Mercy washed away all that sin and shame in that little room with Father.
For my penance the priest asked if I would go to a cemetery and pray over the dead.
I knew I would go to the one my family uses, Resurrection Cemetery.
Driving through the gates the welcome sign always drew my attention as it was so pretty. I stopped the car there and in awe saw the picture of Christ was the exact Devine Mercy as yours! The one painting that was a challenge for us both to find
I didn’t know Devine Mercy until that day of penance that set me free to pray with a pure soul.

I am so in awe that the Lord led me to this today. This is definitely a testimony to be saved, listened to several times. What an example of a diligent disciple of Christ. The time and effort, the faith in action, the wisdom to submit to the Lords direction. Awe inspiring.
Friends: please include him in your prayers that he may be kept mentally, physically and spiritually protected as he continues to walk in the Lords path to carry this gift he has been given to play the role of Jesus Christ. I have prayed for him to stay protected before I even saw this and even more now he needs our continued prayer. The whole cast and crew of the Chosen does.
I love my Catholic friends and stand up for their beliefs every chance I get. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and know all too well the finger pointing. I have had beautiful sacred experiences when attending Mass and also ha being tender conversations with my Catholic friends. We should be lifting each other not tearing each other down. My convictions and beliefs and faith in God and Jesus Christ have been deeply nurtured and fortified by this. Thank you a million times over.❤

My dearly beloved daughter, My Will is cast in stone and all those who truly love Me, will become entwined within the Divine Will of the Lord. Deny My Will and you cannot become Mine. Rise against Me and I will not allow you to enter My Kingdom, for only those who come to Me, in final surrender of their own free will can truly say that they are of Me. If you are not of Me, how can I win over your ungrateful hearts? Those of you who curse Me; pour scorn on those who uphold My Word; or try to interfere with the Holy Will of God will be thrown into the abyss, when every effort to save you has been exhausted.
When I was born, many of My enemies whose souls were infested by evil spirits, made the life of My Mother very difficult. Those who persecuted her during My Time on earth were unaware, in many cases, as to why they felt such hatred towards her. But suffer she did, in My Name. Those who opposed My First Coming, refused to accept the Will of God, which was to give them freedom from the shackles, which were locked around their ankles and placed there by demons.
I spent much of My Mission on earth casting out evil spirits in the souls of the afflicted, while also enlightening those who were ignorant of the Will of God. Now as I prepare to come again, My Mission will be even more trying this time around. To all of you with hardened hearts, who refuse to listen to Me, I say this. Unless you are truly devoted to me, through a life of prayer and devotion, you will not complete this journey to Eternal Life on your faith alone. You are not blessed with enough insight, or knowledge of My Word, to dismiss My Warning at this time. Why do you pour scorn on Me now? What do you believe will make you worthy to stand before Me, when you ask Me for eternal life? I say to you that your obstinance blinds you to the truth of Divine Revelation, which you are witnessing through these, My Holy Messages for the world.
Ungrateful souls, you are lacking in the knowledge, which was painstakingly given to you in the most Holy Bible. For every lesson you were taught, you have learnt nothing. Your pride and your quest for self-gratification, frustrates Me. Your eyes cannot see and you will, as a result, be unprepared for Me. For every slur you cast upon those who speak the Truth, and who uphold My Holy Word - despite opposition from you -you will have to face Me. I will ask you then to justify your words, your deeds and your actions against Me. You can never say that you are for Me when you fight Me, through My Word, given to you out of the Mercy of God, Who will never tire in His Quest to save your souls.
When you are given the Gift of private revelation you have the right to discern. But, you do not have authority to judge others or harm them, even if they do not come from Me. I, Jesus Christ, have made it known that man does not have the right to judge any soul. If you defy Me, and even if you feel grievance towards false prophets, I will judge you and punish you, just as you punished those you hated. You cannot hate another person in My Name. If you hate another person then you do this in the name of Satan. I will wash away your iniquity only when you come and beg Me to redeem you from such a sin. But many of you will never do this for you have placed yourselves above Me, and for this you will suffer.
Let not one man amongst you declare another soul to be of the evil one for he, Satan, delights in those who are guilty, of making this error. Not one of you is so clean of sin that you can make such a judgment.
He who is of Me and who really knows Me, would never scourge another soul in My Name.

Dallas...the scene between Jesus and Mother Mary was anointed by the Holy Spirit, I believe. It was simple but extremely profound. And when Jesus kisses her and says :”Eema what would I do without you”...wow. This is true in so many levels. Keep praying and staying close to Jesus. Many souls are being covered.

That was the most eloquent, touching, frank and sincere speech I believe I've ever heard. God is using Jonathon in such a special way.
When I heard his story about the woman who had just lost her adult son, I just couldn't stop the tears. He comforted her in such a humble, compassionate way. No hint of arrogance or pride that you so often see in famous people. Jonathon didn't think himself above comforting a mourning mother. It reminded me of how Jesus's mother, Mary, must've felt seeing her son crucified on the cross, knowing Jesus was innocent while also knowing that Jesus had to fulfill his purpose for being on the earth. Can you even *begin* to imagine how Mary felt? And she couldn't do a thing to stop it, nor would Jesus have allowed her to. Such a tremendous, profound sacrifice for a world full of sinners, then and those that came after and have continued ever since.
We are all called to "play" Jesus. A role that is challenging to us all. Johnathan, you do a good job.

I just watched this video actually today 3 January 2024.
I listened to so many interviews you repeated your life story so many times.
Almost every interview was a copy paste. I watched it’s ok.
But this time I was mesmerized you really took my heart and soul, paying attention to what you said.
It was so well read and said that it was fabulous. I loved it so much that I started to cry watching you.
All came from your heart nothing acting or artificial.
I am from Egypt my father was Greek Orthodox from Greece.
I was baptized orthodox then went to private Catholic Nuns school I had to have my first communion to convert to Catholicism, my mother was Armenian catholic. So no problem.
Then came to Canada married a Coptic orthodox man my hubby may he RIP 20 years ago. We got married in the Catholic Church. Then I started attending the Coptic orthodox mass fell in love with it.
But I was refused communion in the Orthodox Church I had to get re baptized for a second time , yes again and I was immersed in a tub my whole body with my two teenage daughters and we became orthodox.
After my husband passed for other reasons I went back to the Catholic Church and I am still there.
I am still living on the memory of my beloved husband.
Long story but interesting.
If you ask your dad he will tell you that what the Orthodox Church asked from me was true. Must get baptized to have communion.

I was going alright until Jonathan spoke about the woman who lost her adult son recently at that time and how she reacted to Jonathan because her need for Jesus was so strong to connect with the soul of her son. Well I just lost my adult son Keanu aged 28 hit by a truck while running across a busy road late for his flight. I know what that poor mother felt and needed. She was Blessed to feel her need for Christ at that moment. I too have been Blessed by feeling Jesus throughout this terribly agonising journey. Thank you for your heartfelt testimony for Jesus' Divine Mercy for us all.

I've been watching the Chosen and love it. Perfect actor to play Jesus. He lives the life. I too was raised Greek Orthodox and converted to Catholism when I married and had kids. They went to catholic schools from pre k to high school.
