Great restoration, should serve you well for years to come, I like the fact that you use simpler tools like a wood planer and chisels as apposed to all the fancy high tech equipment I see in a lot of other restorers videos. I like working with my hands and getting the sense of accomplishment when I complete a task, I'm sure you do as well, it's a great feeling. I'm sorry to say I chuckled a bit when the mallet broke, thought "there it is irony at it's finest" break 1 tool while restoring another. Keep doing what you do.
I have been following your videos for a while now and I am always amazed to see that with very small space and minimum tools you achieved very nice things. You now have a new fan. Good job.
Hello, very nice job on the restoration. What did you use to sharpen this axe? I’d love to know what technique you think is best to sharpen axes after restoration.
Hello sir, thanks for attention. Sometimes I used different stones or grindstone or files. I always trying to improve my skills, perhaps after few comments I understood I need more experience in axe sharpening.
Wonderful job. Perfect handle. That looks like a very, very old style of hand axe. Do you know how old it is? To my knowledge, that style of attaching the face/blade to the pol is no longer used. I like that you used a jack plane, a draw knife, and wood rasp. All hand done. Bravo! Please, where are you located? Plan to do some traveling, if my health keeps up. Might be able to stop and shake your hand.
Hello sir, thank you for attention. It's very important for me. For any other question you can contact me via Instagram or Facebook. Regards and I wish you good health.
Hello sir, thank you for attention. Now nothing works and the situation is difficult I could not yet answer you anything. I'll let you know as soon as everything gets better.
First of all my friend nice job on the rubber mallet lol the axe head looks excellent and the handle is perfect thanks for sharing its always a pleasure to watch you do your thing and I can't wait to see the next one thank you bro for your video's stay safe and well my brother till the next one thank you Brian ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍺🍺🍺🍺👍
What a beautiful piece of art that axe turned out to be. Amazing work!

Yes, the rubber mallet so cheap. But I guess it will work few months.
