Currently, most of Hell Drivers 2 are a bunch of noobs who play the game likes playing CoD.
So, they will dislike this race for sure.
@@hidefreek6905I personally haven’t played call of duty since black ops 1 and I love helldivers 2, I’d say maybe around half of us come from that abhorred community, probably the meta nerds.
@@mclovin2408so you stopped playing CoD during its golden age, that's why. Current players say bots are too hard and unfair, once these guys join, Super Earth will be under siege in less than week
The jet packs are also very effective against fighting the illuminates, not just the shield generator. Since there are those giant enemies that create walls, you can use the jet pack to hop over the wall if you're getting overrun
new player here because of the $5 ps sale just wanna say even though these are old videos, you probably have made some of the best helldivers guide content out there and your videos helped me improve a lot

Problem with scouts? usea smoke bomb and stand in it! they cant see you so they won't call for help. its short, but long enough to dispatch other enemies and clear the area sometimes
Perks and stratagems are sooo hard to pick between lol

Yeah illuminates are heavy on the strategem use. Regular guerilla warfare will whittle down even a good team using basic strategems. I really dont like the new enemies as they are just op or the fact that their AI is to just wait at the border of your screen.

As for Helldivers, funny enough. I'm just coming out of a mild returning. Super Earth is in need of some Veterans and my job of both spreading that Democracy and teaching the less seasoned recruits must proceed.

Bubble Shield are good, but if you don't have that yet. Better use Kinetic Shield, not as good but can help with the melee Illuminates
May I know how to deal 10 councils while having my controls reversed?

What's your thoughts on the personal bubble shield vs guard dog when facing the illuminate? I'm a newbie, but I found out I can't have both, right?
dont mind me, just reviewing old super earth files for unreported lapses in democratic spirit.
So which weapons where best against illuminates? You covered strategems and perks, strategies etc. But i cant find the exact time in video where you recomend main weapons?
I have trouble believing a flamethrower would do much damage to them :/

I prefer the jump pack because you can jump over hose walls made by the sphere things.
+Telepathic Badger Yeah, now that the Obelisks are in the game jump packs are much better stratagem for Illuminate planets.
I ALWAYS bring a jetpack to every mission other than retaliatory strikes. They're essential for survival for me. That and the displacement field.
Obelisk can one hit kill vehicles, including tanks, APCs and mechs.
You should make one on the cyborgs which in my view are the easiest to fight
I especially like taking out the cyborg dogs with the Tanto or other laser weapons making use of the obsticals on the map like rocks and holes to slow the dogs
Maya Yokia Yeah, I will. It's been something I needed to get back to from some time. I started it a while back but decided that the tips could be better and so it's been a slow in production. I'll pick back up on it for sure. If you have any tips though be sure to let me know. I'll credit you in the video.
DeathStalker Synchro ok well what I said about the dogs really helps kill them off quick and prevents them from downing you but if you are downed the perk auto injector helps counter them mobbing on you too I usaully have the guard dog and auto injector for my missions on cyborgs so if I'm downed the little guy can shoot them a bit to protect you
Maya Yokia Wow! I can't believe I never thought of the auto-injector. Add the guard dog to that and you're right. That may just become my new Cyborg loadout (especially for solos). I can guarantee you this is now on the list of tips. Many thanks!

+Oliver Wirth Both the Jump Pack and Bubble shield are obtained from completing all missions on a certain planet. Though, I can't say which planet because it's somewhat random. You'll have to go through all your planet for each enemy race and find the one for each stratagem.

God, I miss the Illuminate. They were wiped out so quick in the current war, I only managed to do like, 20 Illuminate planets.
The Bugs and Cyborgs are fine liberation targets, but they get old quick.
They are back now as the war has reset due to a defeat on super earth

What isn't good, is getting used to fighting the Illuminate again. Fuck, I haven't missed how annoying they can be at times.

I used to use the sickle, as well. Trust me when I tell you that the Patriot is *much* better at dealing with Illuminate scouts. Don't believe me? Try it. Thank me later. ;)
I use sickle when I solo lvl 12 hell dive. Good to take out scouts or snipers, but trident still works really well for me.

tip dont use vehicles against illuminate the wall units Will destroy them
They only hit the vehicle if it gets inside the barrier while it is generating. Otherwise the barrier will get blocked by you or will just not damage you
