If someone on your team carries an upgraded rail rifle, you can stun tank enemies in a single shot. This allows precious time for your other teammates to strike the tanky units.

I don’t know if anyone knew this or it was just me but the hard to kill enemy known as the “brood commander” is not as strong as it seems, it’s head has high armor but the rest of it is unprotected so shooting the creatures in the back whenever you have the chance is a great “non-explosive” alternative that doesn’t require any special AP-rounds or explosive stratagems
C4. C4 C4 C4. Takes out tanks, hordes at a time, and nests.
For bugs I love using the punisher. A well placed shot works wonders. Coupled with the green splooge gun, no troubles. I use melee for the little minions, unless its a horde of them. Thats when the splooge gun comes in. Its also great for defending launch pads. Doesn't inflict damage.
Actually, one of the greatest weapon agaisn't bugs is the TOX, The thing can destroy even tanks without a problem and just slows every ennemy down so much you don't ever get swarmed!
acid blaster it takes down the big ones. it keeps working till they'er dead. it slows them down to. part of hazard pack. best antibug weapon out there. but remember helldivers if u hit a team mate there is no saving them so be careful and keep up on ammo.
I was using the breaker on the bugs yesterday fully upgraded. It seems like I had to spray a full clip point blank to kill the Elite .. It was dead center in the face and they kept coming

Dan You had me there for a second. Lol. And thanks but I can't agree. I just do more than needs to be done and still need some improvements in many areas.
DeathStalker Synchro Yeah but I can tell you work hard you really do but like you said only in some spots you need help but don't say that you dont work hard because you do work hard.
I'm a rail gun guy... can stun tanks, and goes through everything... and it kills everything from one to two shots...
If you use the boots on the snow planet, does that negate the difficulty in your opinion?
While I want to say yes, I can't say that would be a solid yes. Snow planets due complicate things due to the low movement but I don't use the boots because I find the trade off not rewarding enough. But that's me personally because I'm so in love with my Stratagem Priority. I'd rather lose a stratagem slot and bring the Jump pack but it really comes down to the individual. Either way you have to use something to combat the movement speed decrease that comes with snow planets or else you're in for a rough ride.
Hey DeathStalker Synchro have you found out how to unlock the black and red colored cape?
johnathan williams Unfortunately, no. Not until you dropped this comment, I never even heard of it. Though, I just did some digging and can maybe point you in the right direction. I've seen the screenshot with the cape. It likely isn't something you just normally obtain. Such as from reaching the max rank (Rank 25). This is because I've played with multiple rank 25 players and none of them have it.
What I have figured out is that if you look closely you can tell the image on the back is the Helldiver's skull on top of the Cyborg faction's emblem. Give also the red trim around it it's safe to say it's a Cyborg themed cape. Which possibly means you have to accomplish some sort of great feat versus the Cyborg faction. Now i know it isn't trophy related because I've taken care of all but 3 of my Helldiver trophies and the remaining ones do not require the Cyborgs in any way. But that's all I've been able to learn for now. I'll do some more digging later and ask around hopefully we can solve this mystery soon. I WANT THIS CAPE!
P.S. Thanks for the comment. I can't imagine going on living without knowing this cape exist.

OH please if you find out how to get that cape PLEASE LET ME KNOW! The developers confirmed that it can be unlocked in game but have not explained how :(

No problem at all. I'm completely interesting in acquiring this cape as well. Though, when I find something you'll be the first to know. As for the Facebook. I am in fact not on Facebook. I'm actually a bit Anti-Facebook. Probably won't ever make one again. Though, it is a tempting offer to join that community. I actually read this comment earlier today and didn't reply because I was considering it.
Though, ultimately I'd probably just deactivate the account again after like a week.
Also, THANKS A TON for sharing the video among the community. You don't know how awesome that truly is. I'll keep pumping out Helldiver videos to make sure community is always equip with good intel :)

Our community is full of people who appreciate good work as well. Oh not sure if you are comfortable sharing your psn id on here butbid love to link up with you sometime and play some Helldivers! I'm level 25 and i have all weapons and stratagems fully upgraded. Also not to brag but to get an idea of how i play im abel to beat a level 12 difficulty helldive mission solo without the use of a distractor beacon or a mech. Here's my psn id = advocate4christ

I'm not amazing at the game but I have to say, I'm pretty good. It's just the people who throw me at the enemies for a reinforce or the people who leave me to die and get me trapped
Yeah, I agree. Though, it's arguable to say this what makes Helldivers the game that it is. I can't speak for everyone but 90% of deaths are caused by screw ups. Whether they're your's or a squadmate's. And that is what makes this game what it is. While frustrating as it is, it is also sometimes halarious.
I fell in love with the game on launch day not for weapons, awesome music or even Liber-Tea. It was a single mission where me and three randoms screwed up so many times my sides hurt from laughing.
Noah Andrew Though, not every death is enjoyable, if you can find a moment to laugh at your own demise you'll enjoy the game a bit more.

I usually play as helldivers difficulty (lv 12) and for bugs i used
1) max potential pistol against scout
2) Rail riffle, because he can pierce armours and stun enemies.
3) for tank i used usually mortair or rocket
4) for nest i used Tattical bomb, i don't lose time
5) yeah, i agree (but illuminates are the most easy race in the game)
6) i never used, i think shotgun laser are more usefull for killing more easly scout.
7) god Bless the turret
8) God bless the tesla beacon
9) i usually take the ammo bag, bugs consume a lot of ammo, when i used that drone it consume all energy and i still lie on the ground.
haha. I find illuminates really easy up until very hard difficulty. I also find bugs the hardest because of the shear numbers.

Keep in mind that not all of your audience is fluent in english. So if shortening the videos implies you or any youtuber to speak faster...eeehhh you gonna have a lot of people struggling to understand you :)

I totally hear you dude. My apologies if you or anyone else couldn't hear what I was saying. Unfortunately, there was no strategy to my speed talking in these earlier videos. I naturally talk too fast and regrettably did so while recording as well. But believe me when I say this. It's all a thing of the past....Unless you watch my older Helldivers videos. Then it's very much present. Lol
Yeah, I watched few of you videos about DLC's ... got the demolitionist and put 2 others on wishlist to get them on sale probably. Very helpful videos (except way too much time spent on uniform spinning haha). Sometimes, 1 or 2 words slept out of my comprehendind, but not a big deal. But I'm also if not fluent, quite decent in english. Some people might have a harder time. No need apologising, it's all good, we can't please everybody anyway, and it didn't keep me from subbing :)

Jump packs are excellent on snow maps, their not as bad as you think. Definitely a life saver if your good at using it.
TheLethalDiva I agree, in those unfortunately frequent moments of life or death, it truly is a lifesaver. But I can't in good conscience allow it to occupy one of my Stratagem slots. Where would I put my Lil' Guard Dog?

having dumped tons of hours into this game since launch i disagree with the part where u said SMGs are good vs bugs...they clearly are not.
for soloing bugs Sycthe fully upgraded is prolly the best as for shotgun Breaker is also a good option.
for team play Plasma Gun is very op vs bugs and tends to take them with 1-2 well placed shots.
Railgun turrets are a gods gift vs bugs as they can wipe out medium bugs v easily and can stun the bigger tanks.
Smgs are useless vs bugs cuz of poor range and poor stopping power...even with AP ammo the base damage is soo low it doesnt works that well..
if u have not unlocked the scythe yet go for any other laser weapon or a flame thrower..flamethrowers need slight skill but since they ignore armor can easily take out swarms of medium bugs.
I also recommend having a jetpack to counter the charges of the big bug tanks.
For bugs only one tip is needed. Take out the patrols. They go down with one hit of the Trident. Also bring a Tesla coil for objectives like the rocket launch and geological survey; also extraction. You can do level 15 planets without raising a single alarm.
Doesn't work for Cyborgs, because they spawn an IFV for patrols and their regular patrols don't go down easily. And Illuminates have those snipers.

What about all-terrain boots in the snow? Pretty much the required perk when playing a snow level...

+DeathStalker Synchro helping as always. Try to slow down your speech, but that's the only negative thing I have to say :)
You should experiment with more weapons (Shotguns) and test out how effective they are against the enemies before making a video on tips to destroy them. You completely overlooked shotgun's in a scenario where they may benefit.
The commando is great for the tanks. Its an anti tank if you fully upgrade it. And its howming which is good for killing tanks.
And another the static field is best too.
How did you do that? I saw you fall at minute 12:38, however you continued to play.

I have to disagree with your tip on using Shotguns/SMGs versus the bugs. They generally lack the raw damage to deal with the massive hordes you need to deal with later on, especially due to a poor ammunition expended/kill ratio. I generally found more success with using an assault rifle such as the Paragon loaded with AP rounds to deal with them.
+Edward “Eravel” Quan This video is an old one. Pretty much right after Helldivers released. It's meant for the lower difficulty Bugs planets. At the time, we didn't have the glorius Paragon and the later assault rifles weren't unlocked by many yet. yeah.Las-16 is my favorite weapon.I like to use it because you dont need extra ammo and that means free equipment slot,wich suits my play style..to use napalm and static.Im more a def player.

The Mk. 3 "Vindicator" Bunker Buster bomb is VERY effective against the tank bugs
It has like a 5 second cooldown timer and you get 15 of them every mission
