Being an admiral I always use the patriot just so you can melee the dogs and melee spin out of danger, the commando is the go to for anti tank, everything else is mission oriented
My loadout: Priority tactic equipment AR-20L-Justice Ammo Eat-17 (this is literally a Panzerfaust) Close air support /and/ Thunderrous barrage I use it for every mission,but in the Cyborg mission i use the AR-I4D-Paragon,because it slow enemy down (yes this is a DLC weapon)
I dont really play solo. I play with random people in higher difficults. I dont really play the 1-4 difficult planets. Not much xp. I mostly play the hardest difficult
Wait!!! does this support couch co-op?!? How did I not know this?Also, the EAT isn't bad for lower levels where tanks don't spawn. The loss in power (which is still enough to kill most things) is made up for having 2 drop at a time and an unlimited number of them, But if you need that firepower Recoilless is the way to go.

Breaker is good for everything. They give you the best gun in the game right off the bat. It has awesome range, spread and rate of fire is nice as well. Doesn't take that long to reload either. Granted, I've yet to unlock ALL the guns, but so far it is superior, even the second shotgun is crap compaired to it.
Best loadout is simple two mechs and two turrets. These 4 load outs can handle anything offensive and defensive and if you know how to play the turrets properly you are set. I also use the mechs to shield me when claiming objectives
SotNist if you mean higher levels like challenging and impossible i have used this combo and i play a role similar to support or engineer. Ive had no prob in single player or coop with this loadout
This discussion is healthy its good to see others loadouts. I have purchased the new dlc so i know sacrifice a mech and a turret for the angel back pack and other jobby that fires. I also drop my stuff for lower level players to make sure they dont die.
Shyan Haque Magica is made by the same people and only on PC, just lake this only with wizards in a medieval era. Also Magica 2 comes out in May on PC and PS4.
Freedom Wars 2 vehicle combat an air strike will be nice and freedom war it will be nice to go up with a tank against the monsters robots with machine guns and flame thrower can rocket launcher and able to send in an airstrike on Freedom Wars 2 would be nice but this time for Freedom Wars 2 make free slots for weapons I can have two guys and one sword or two swords and one gun or three swords or 3 guns and maybe two or three slots for your vehicles an air strike and this time more thorns a purple one a blue one and a black one the blue Thorn gives you double the amount of ammo and let you lay out MO for your team and it will lay down a sentry gun the purple thing will let you sprint faster and you double the amount of damage and teleport now for the Blackthorn I don't know it has to be something nice

If you are using the recoilles rifle you might want to bring an ammo resupply to get more rockets.

SuperArppis Agreed, though some of the laser weapons definitely aren't bad. Depends on how much you upgrade.

On higher difficulty levels, the fully armored tanks and commander heavies will drain all your ammo and roll right over your turrets.

That's not my type of load out. I'll usually bring the UAV with the static field and then a support drop. Then I'll usually bring a resupply

Ya I got the DLC too. I'm really liking the new rocket launcher but it only becomes really effective after you've gotten all is upgrades
