Sorry for getting my voice on the video. I was giving out the souvenir tickets for the ride. To explain the story of me "running on the tracks" I participated in the Sydney Marathon 10k and my GPS tracking on my phone which I had on me to track where I ran went off when I ran over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and had me running on the train tracks.
I did a trip video like this with K66 and K87 last Tuesday evening from Redfern to Birrong in 3546 cab thanks to an old friend who stayed after I did my electrical trade years ago with City Rail .
I still miss the ‘Red Rattlers’. It’s gonna be hell for the people using the replacement buses for the next year or so, especially at peak travel times. I prefer to catch the bus to Strathfield when going to the city.
Being a physically separate line from the rest of the Sydney Trains network, but maintaining good connections when transferring between different. People on the T3 will get fully accessible trains with level access boarding that run every 4 minutes. And with less trains in the City Circle and in the St Peters area, more services can be run on the T2, T4, T8 and SCO lines. All the stations have also been upgraded as a part of the project, and you can access other parts of the CBD and Northern Sydney from the Bankstown Line.
There's a great train system from city to Bankstown and beyond, And some one has spent millions and millions on some tram right next to it going to the same place's,WOT a waste of money 🤬

I saw myself on the road bridge at Dulwich Hill
What advantage will the Metro be over the current system?

Nice video Matthew I'm glad I don't use the Bankstown line for the moment, I know it will be worth it when finished.
