WHAT IF Rhaenys BURNS the Targaryen Greens at Dragonpit

- I know you've been thinking about it since the end of House of the Dragon Season 1...what is Rhaenys Targaryen, the great ancestor of Daenerys Targaryen, BURNED Aegon II, Alicent & Otto Hightower, Aemond, etc. and effectively ended the Dance of the Dragons before it even began? What would have changed in the history of Game of Thrones? LET'S FIND OUT TOGETHER!

What if Robb Stark and Myrcella “Baratheon” were married instead of Joffrey and Sansa?
Oooooo I like this one!
What if Alicent agreed to the marriage alliance between Jace and Haelena?
Or Rhaenyra and Laenor managed to have kids that looked more like him?
You would want your trueborn daughter to marry a bastard? Alicent was right to not agree, it was like Rhaenyra was spitting in her face
@@kingofdragons7 It's a What If scenario. I'm just asking the question.
@@katherinealvarez9216 very well
it would have healed relations a little bit but not that much.
and considering otto still thinks Aegon is the true heir, he still plots the coup
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 he doesn't think Aegon is the true heir, he only uses that excuse to put his blood on the throne and have house Hightower in power, luckily for us, after Otto and Alicent, there will be a new lord Hightower who is actually a friend of the blacks
It's a shame cause the Meleys scene took place of Sunfyre, it seems. Aegon II was supposedly said to have circled around King's Landing a few times on Sunfyre a little after he was crowned.... a shame we didn't get to see that.
Also, if Rhaenys killed all the Greens, public opinion of the Black's wouldn't have been so good, and Rhaenys would've been a Kinslayer 3× over, or perhaps 5× since technically, Otto and Alicent are bound to her via the marriage as well
It is a shame we didn't get to see that a bit, but I admit I can't hate. The showrunners probably wanted to go for something deeper than a kid on a joyride, so they went with this. Not sure which is better.
I'm honestly not sure the public would care very much - especially the kinslayer stuff. Rhaenys is so removed from from Alicent and Otto, I'm just not sure it'd matter since they aren't blood. Now Helaena and Aegon would've been more of an issue, but even then...meh.
@TheBattProductions Helena was well loved by the small folk and Rhaenyra didn't want bloodshed.
Targaryen doesn't care about public opinion.
You really think that Targaryens gave a slightest fuck about public opinion?
Rhaenys would've been seen as a kin slayer and people would've assumed Rhaenyra told her to do so it wouldn't look good for team black but no one would do anything against them because they have dragons and they wouldn't be able to support Aegon II nor his brothers since they'd already be dead so the lord's and people of Westeros would have to accept Rhaenyra as their Queen.
They could still declare for daeron but yea
@@thatoneblackdude3333 Daeron would be outnumbered by the blacks dragons
@@sydnitheromantictaylor112 true
What if the reyne-tarbeck rebellion succeeded
What if sansa went to essos with tyrion
What if dragons never died out
What if aerys never became mad
What if Robert and rheager both died at the trident
I personally believe that she didn’t want to be compared to Vasenya was slightly tyrannical and her judgment when it came to who was in charge of power I don’t think she wanted that comparison
I think that's a really valid reason for it. I'm at a point where it's tough for me to really dissect why she did it - but instead I just use the energy to think of the ramifications of it.
Strategically, she should've wiped them all out. No doubt. But there's very heavy weight imposed on someone who would do such a thing. Like, Tywin Lannister Red Wedding weight....fortunately, Tywin DGAF so he can bear it - and he's used to making those badass calls. Rhaenys clearly isn't, so she hesitated when she saw Alicent's eyes.
Great video! You should do “What if King Viserys loved all his children like he did Rhaenyra”
Thank you TyTy!
I think that's a good idea. I like it.
7:08 "C'mon, you didn't think that the Targaryens would really, really care about what happens to a common man, right?"
*Shepherd intensifies*
Bahahah...I mean there's proof they don't care and eventually, the commoners get a little tired of that (baha)
I didn’t like the rheanys dragon scene at all . They were going for shock value as opposed to actual common sense and quality . That’s exactly how we got the season 8 of GOT back in 2019. Hopefully they don’t fall into this shock value trap for upcoming seasonsp
Unfortunately I think it is headed that way. The show is trying to show the Blacks as the good guys who had their claims usurped by the Greens when actually they both are bad.
Yeah, I mean, she just killed a bunch of people who had nothing to do with what happened. And then she flies off? Really?
She could have at least killed Otto and Larys.
It was even worse that they didn't include Sunfyre in that scene who was the only dragon who was supposed to be there
@@thechosenone1533 there both bad but even in the books The blacks are still the group your supposed to root for while the greens are irrefutablely the villains .
I'd love to hear more about this - what do you mean by shock over common sense?
I have a what if for GoT.
What if Jon instead joins the white cloaks/ goes south to specifically train for it??
Now I can see the only way is Jon originally goes to the wall and then decides to leave before taking the vow. He befriends Sam mostly and the others a bit. He stays basically for Sams vow cause I think Sam would stay bc by this point he's befriended a few people. It can honestly go several ways tho
The White Cloaks? Hmm...I mean, that'd be a tough one to analyze admittedly just because I don't know how he'd get into the White Cloaks. At what point do you mean him to join?
The First Man of The Seven Kingdoms. I love it! 😂😂
Haha - I mean I know Daemon is a guy who doesn't care if he's seen as masculine or feminine at times, but I can be certain that he would not like being the first male spouse of the Iron Throne holder!
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THESE 🎉🎉
Likely there would be an even bloodier civil war once Rhaenyra dies an much of the Realm refuses to follow a bastard (Jacaerys), instead they would support Aegon III who might be supported by Daeron's line in revenge against Rhaenyra. The Velaryons support Jacaerys and the Strong boys as Luke would rule Driftmark, while several other Lords will support Aegon for being more legitimate. It's interesting if Daemon turns on Rhaenyra as he pushes for Aegon III against Jacaerys I.
He would probably do it. If he is still alive by then.
That's certainly an outcome. I don't think that would happen, but I admit I'm only speaking of these characters as they are right now...before they may get greedy and have no enemies other than themselves.
Very interesting point you raise here!
We see Daemon crying as he delivers the message of Luke's death to Rhaenyra which paints the picture he loves the boys and with his daughter marrying Jace… his blood is on the throne no matter what
@@roguequakewitch I think he loves the boys for sure. Daemon is a big softy on the inside.
Here's one for those who've read Dunk and Egg: what if Baelor Breakspwar survived the Trial of Seven, and the great Spring Sickness, to be crowned Baelor II?
Baelor would become the best king since his dad Daeron and leads Westeros into another age of peacetime. Eventually his sons if any survive, would take the throne after him and we get a whole new line of Targs, possibly with no Mad Kings
There are those who believe the conspiracy theory that it was Bloodraven who arranged that Maekar and his children with the strongest Dragon blood got the throne in order to be the line from which the Prince who was Promised descended from.
What if Tommen was Robert's trueborn son but Joeffrey was not. I think it would be interesting to see how Ned, Stannis, and Robb react.
That would but it'd be obvious cause he'd have black hair so Jon aren't might bring it up to robert
They would just assume Joffery took after Cersei and Tommen after Robert, kinda like how Robb and Sansa took after Catelyn while Arya took after Ned in the books. Thus the war would not occur.
@@thechosenone1533 true, wouldn't tommen have more of Roberts features as well like having bigger shoulders or something like that
Great video. I do enjoy these what if senerios. My favorite one you did was What if Daemon Blackfyre wins. Here is an idea for one in the future.
What if Tywin gets defeated at Battle of the Bells and exiled instead of Jon Connington
I’m glad she didn’t kill them because that pretty much would’ve been the end of the series and I would’ve been salty af 😂😂😂😂
Yo LEGIT. That would've been such a bad show as a result, haha. I mean basically it'd be the end and I don't need that. I need more House of the Dragon in my life.
the end of the series how? the game of thrones never quits or ends. when the Dance ended, the Targaryen dynasty continued on with several more wars, conflicts and political intrigue.
I missed these what if videos so much man
I'm glad I could help bring them back to you a bit, Jaharys! I'd like to do more - just a matter of some good HOTD ideas to talk about 🙂 So hey if you have any you'd like to discuss, I'm here for it!
What if Meraxes never gets shot down by the Dornish. And Rhaenys Targaryen, wife of Aegon the Conquerer survives
Awesome suggestion. Love that
I would like to remember you of another few "what ifs". What if Rhaelle had survived the birth of Daenaerys, what if Elia and her children had been on Dragonstone instead of King's Landing during the sacking of King's Landing and what if Viserys and Daenaerys had been secretly raised by the Martells in Sunspear.
Plus, how do you think season 2 will start? Will it be Daemon organizing Blood & Cheese or will we see Jaecaeys arriving at The Eyrie to negotiate an alliance with Jeyne Arryn and then learning of his brother's death at the hand of Aemond and Vaeghar?
Rhaelle surviving the birth of Daenerys...brilliant. I think these are great ideas.
I don't think we see anything about Blood & Cheese. I just think they have War Council of some type, Daemon and Rhaenyra have a line about payback for Luke & maybe some sobbing but Rhaenyra soldiers on, with Daemon giving a lasting glare...then at the end of the episode, we see Blood & Cheese pop up to shock people back into the show. BAM!
I probably wouldn't see them going to The Vale for that because I don't think there's going to be much going on...not sure though I suppose!
Can’t wait for your next reads, the Dunk and Egg series would be really great!🎉❤
Goat vid. You should narrate or analyze one of the other companion books or novellas! Also hopefully secret invasion soon. Could breakdown that!
You're the best, Mak!
I'd love to do some of that. I'm about to read the Dunk and Egg books, so hey I mean that's ripe for more content I think. Do you listen to the audiobooks and stuff? Do you like Dunk?

Nice to hear you again, I was wondering when you put up another video. It is interesting to change an incident in a story , amd play out the scenario, have you ever seen the film “run Lola run “? It is a German film and it’s one scene, but every time the scene replays one small thing changes in shift the entire scene, do you have to watch it pretty interesting.
I've been sparse with my videos lately, but that's because I am trying to do too much in life. I'm still getting used to my new job and utilizing my time, so I went to try and start another channel about another topic I enjoy, but it ended up with my splitting my time and not knowing my goals. I'll give it a go, for sure. I don't see why not if it's kind of a trippy flick that hits on new perspectives.
I think you’re underestimating the absolute stigma of kinslaying is seen in westeros. It’s very very possible that essentially all of westeros rebels against the Targaryens, even with their dragon advantage (I mean Maegor had Balerion and that didn’t stop the realm from rising up against him.) It’s also not like Daeron is a toddler with a hatchling dragon, Tessarion was said to be comparable in size to Seasmoke and outlived Vermithor the bronze fury himself during the events of 2nd tumbleton, sure she’s not outgunning all the black dragons at once but she could still be portrayed as a threat.
I think unless Rhaenyra publicly denounces and perhaps imprison/execute Rhaenys I can very well see many of the lords of westeros rising up in rebellion against the Targaryens as they did during the later end of Maegor’s reign, with Daeron probably taking the place of a young Jaehaerys for someone they would want to crown instead.
Yeah but they'd be utterly crushed if they tried. The Faith is like a barking dobberman chained to a pole in a pen in yard of the next door neighbor with you the ruler being the neighbor of said house, It will bark at you incessantly but it won't hurt you if you stay away from it. Point being that yeah people will be sore about it but any uprising that does pop up is going to be napalmed out of existence by the dragon riders. Also all seven kingdoms attempted to fight Aegon and lost and he only had three dragons and three riders himself included the Blacks have WAY more then enough that you could station a royal army under direct command of a rider each in all of the kingdoms to act as a hard deterent and still have more in reserve to reinforce things. Being a Kinslayer is a huge deal but its not enough to start a massive civil war itself. Also Daeron may not be a toddler but he's also not stupid as to try and go on a suicidal quest for vengence against what is likely to be about 100,0000 soldiers and a number of dragon riders. While his dragon could pose a threat his dragon is only a threat as the rider is one and I don't think Daeron would find much support for his claim as he'd be too far down the line of succession and I don't think any of the Lord paramounts would back him due to sheer pragmatism knowing that it would be a lost cause.
Essentially Daeron stands about as much chance against the Blacks as a single family of Dragon Riders stood a chance of taking over the entire Valyrian Freehold by force. And anyone else without a Dragon is an afterthought as dragons are certified living breathing weapons of mass-destruction and you need only take a look at real life what happens when a nation has access to such weaponry, a long period of peace follows because nobody wants to kick the sleeping giant with the power to destroy entire nations within a matter of days.
I think kinslaying matters, but not as much as siding with the family that has all of the dragons. I think other Houses will get over a family killing their own if the story is that Aegon II was usurping the Throne out from underneath the rightful heir, Rhaenyra.
I think even if all of Westeros rebelled against Rhaenyra & Velaryons, it wouldn't much matter. Like yeah it'd be more drawn out than being a simple W, but I think they'd win. I think it's moot anyway since I can't see most Houses rebelling over Rhaenys taking out a bunch of usurpers.
Tessarion is cool and a threat, but not in comparison to what the Blacks have - that's really all I was trying to say. Like I don't see Seasmoke as any threat to what the Blacks have, for example.
I can't see that happening, but this is where I greatly enjoy the discourse in the comments!
I just finished A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms with all 3 dunk and egg stories in it and loved it. Gonna wait a bit to start the GOT books can’t wait for those too eventually!

Do a what if Rhaegar Targaryen killed the mad king and took the throne for himself?
I wish it would’ve worked out this way- Rhaenys taking out the greens right then and there instead of loosing Meleys and herself, it would’ve worked out best and the dragons would have been coveted from unnecessary war/ loss.
I'm *sick* that it didn't work out this way. Imagine if Rhaenys just FREAKING PULLED THR TRIGGER...

what if Lucerys cut out his eye at Storm's end?
what if Aegon woke up before he could be retrieved and flew away on Sunfyre?
The things that will happen if Rhaenys burned the greens
- Rhaeynera and Daemon are king and queen
- Rhaeynera pardon Rhaenys for burning some peasants
- Jacerys is the king after Rhaeynera
- The realm is stable and peaceful
- Vhagar & Sunfyrs is claimed by Baela & Rhaena
- Dragonstone is inhabited by Lucerys or Damon's sons
- the dance doesn't happen The Targaryen dynasty is well and healthy there would be enough dragons for the next generations and the next Centuries

Have you thought about a what if Brandon Stark killed Little finger when they dueled for Catlyn's hand? Basically what would game of thrones have been like without little finger? You need a different master of coin, Jon Arryn lives longer as he doesn't get poisoned etc. Could be interesting
Don't forget he most likely burned Lyanna's letter to her family. So who knows Jon might grows-up as prince.
Not sure if you've answered this one but I'll ask anyway.
When Tyrion tells three versions of a plan to marry Myrcella off, we only see how the story unfolds with Myrcella in Dorne. Were she married to Theon or Robin Arryn, how would the story unfold from there?
What if ser beriston couldn’t rescue the mad king and because of that Tywin attacked and the mad king was dead
You mean at Duskendale? Or some other event?
Rhaenyra would have. Been another mad king with lust
With all the dragons still alive, it’s doubtful that the Targaryens dynasty would have ended
the Dance was inevitable. somehow, someday, a major war would have killed them
I think that's probably true, yes. I mean so many dragons basically makes them untouchable.
Aegons crown is melted too
Do a what if rhaenys targaryen became queen instead of viserys
The Targaryen rule would be interesting with Jacerys as heir.
Possible universe crossover, what if sauron from Lord of the rings appeared in westeros?
Holy shiz, haha. Adding Tolkien into the mix eh?!?!
What if Robb was forced to take the twins by force, how could that change things, I could see Robb having lord manderly take his ships and taking what soldiers he could to possibly do hit and run tactics to distract Tywin or blitz Jaime and hold river run until the main force arrives
HMMM, highly interesting actually...I mean taking the Twins is an interesting one since they weren't really allies or enemies, so that definitely makes a statement. I don't think much of the North would argue however. Hmm..
In other words this is a best case scenario that avoids a LOT of deaths with a single action, yeah it does cost some lives but those are the lives of people who 100% deserved it. And better that a few dozen evil opportunists die to save the lives of millions of people who would otherwise have died in the Dance it also saves Westeros long-term because dynastic stability and would also let me be honest lead to some serious events. First off I see that the Hightowers will try to retaliate but with no dragons they'll be going the way of House Reyne, also possibly Oldtown gets the Old Ghis treatment from Daemon for good measure which would definitely break the power of the Faith and destroy the Citadel which would be a good thing because the Maesters have been holding technology back by hording advances granted it would destroy some stuff BUT I think Westeros would recover, also a good thing would mean no Baelor the Blessed burning books and destroying stuff in this timeline.
I will say that the Targaryens will likely have to bring back the Valyrian Faith and convert the Seven Kingdoms to it because the Faith is going to be a constant thorn in their side and its best to get rid of it entirely; yeah it may result in some bloodshed but nobody is going to stop Dragons. Also bringing back the Targaryen traditions of Polygamy allows for the arrangement of many dynastic ties that essentially link the houses of Westeros to the royal family making any desire for independence moot because people will just want the throne. Also when offered the option to worship a faith of deites that aren't too strict in their policies and allow you to marry multiple spouses that would easily take the smallfolk by storm, reducing the faith of the Seven to minority faith with no influence; the only place where the Valyrian Faith wouldn't be widely adopted is the North but given that the Starks were firmly on team Black then the North shouldn't be a problem
Speaking of Rhaenyra and Daemon would tidy that up and likely adopt the Dornish method of succession, it would upset some people but again minor inconveniences because Dragons are a instant win button in this setting. As for how they would rule, it would be a fairly stable and successful rule and would be followed up by Lucerys as ruler of the Seven Kingdoms and he would actually be a fairly good ruler. Essentially dynastic stability is going to be a norm going forward.
The real long-term impacts involve some things like succession as Aegon the Unlikely would never become king which has the side effect of Aerys never becoming King as his father was the son of Aegon the Unlikely, this in turn means that he'd remain down the line of succession. Though how large the Targaryen family is by that point is really dependent on how impactful the Great Spring Sickness would be on thinning their numbers. But the large impact is that with the Targaryens likely returned to their Valyrian faith Rhaegar could marry Lyanna without any trouble or conflict, sure Robert would be unhappy but he isn't stupid enough to fight multiple Targaryen dragons as that would be thing in this scenario. This does mean Jon is born and likely his spouses would be Rhaenys, Daenarys and Arya. Then when the Long Night comes the Targaryens clap the army of the dead without much issue. Hell they'll probably control a good chunk of Essos by this point who knows.
But yeah this scenario is a best case scenario for Westeros and as an ardent Blacks support good riddance to the Greens in this scenario
the Dance was inevitable. whether it happened then, or in 100 years.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 True but the extent of the damage could be minimized thru the right actions but also making sure that the parties that would benifit the most are defanged or dead. The fact of the matter is that while something could occur taking the right actions would minimize the damage, also if the Dragon population is allowed to grow sizeable enough then the main factor keeping the Targaryen dynasty alive and in power would survive and not be murdered silently by the Maesters.
Also you seem to be ignoring the fact that by stopping the Dance the amount of deaths prevented is sizeable, also if you fix the succession laws to make sure that there is a clear line then it makes future civil wars less likely to be of the same scale. Now would a Dance happen in the future, potentially but would it be to the same scale? That is the real question. But the more important factor is that an entire generation of people are preserved from dying in a horrible war that ultimately did irrepairable damage to the entire Seven Kingdoms.
@@jedinathan if you're so determined to keep the Targ dynasty in power and stable, the divergence point should be far earlier than this. why murder all the Greens when they can stick around and help the king rule?
for example Viserys marrying Laena over Alicent. or Viserys naming Aegon heir the second he is born. theres several scenarios that would have prevented the Dance
What if Viserys married Daemon to Rhynera when Daemon requested
I also think that Rhaenyra wouldn't have miscarried, so we would have another Visenya. Wonder if she'd be as boss as the last one. Iaalo thunk she would have married her brother, Viserys since they're closest in age.
That's a very good though about the miscarriage - I like that. I wonder...
Ser Crispy Coal :-)
She'd be Rhaenys The Queenmaker in my eyes
Also the targaryens lineage changes completely with the greens not being in line anymore but succesion issues will def occur and probably fast track a blackfyre style rebellion as succesion would be completely different and Rhanyra's (sc) kids closer in line with the throne are bastards unlike her kids with Daemon
Long Live the Red Queen 🐲
What if rhaenyra didn't go to dragon stone and stayed in kinglanding
The War had not started yet. If it was after warfare and death on both sides had begun. If she then had a chance to do this maybe she would have chosen different. But she could have ended the whole war there.
The actor of daemon is first men in two tv-series XD
What do you mean?
Could you do a what if on Robert ask Ned to have robb marry Marcella instead of Sansa and joffery?
I could indeed do that!
That's quite interesting actually...hmm. Then it leaves Joff open for some loving from someone else!
Rhaenys should have scorched the Greens and took the throne for herself.
there is no person more accursed than the kinslayer. it would turn the whole continent against her. the greens were beloved by the people.
Burn them all🔥
@@haymaker710 why?
First to take the Black 🖤
Daemon would never kill rhynera because he's too loyal to his brother.
She is his neice and all that lives of his brother.
Mild book spoiler, considering which grand child of Vizzy I so many main characters like Jon Snow, Dany and the other current Targaryens, the Baratheons and the Martells are descended from, it’s likely none of them would exist if the Dance of the Dragons hadn’t taken place.
What if viserys marries laena?
possibly would have turned out okay. one of the reasons things go to shit is because rhaenyra leaves dragonstone, has pissed off alicent and otto was scheming around.
corlys i think would be a bit more open in his outrage that laena's son isnt heir and because its his single most powerful ally giving him pressure, maybe viserys would have figured something out, maybe agreed to match rhaenyra to laena's son
What everyone forgets is that even if Rheynera became the queen, her valariyon son will be the hier and he has to carry valariyon name till he becomes the king, meaning if he has son who would be first born and rightful hier, he would be a valariyon and once he becomes king and has other kids they will be targereons which again creates a lot of problems as targereon kids will for sure challenge a valariyon who is illegitimate to start with, so dance of dragons was inevitable when the valariyon pact was made.
Rhaenyra's heir was going too take the name Targaryen instead of Velaryon mind you there Claim to the Iron Throne isn't through there Father so there Father doesn't matter as much in terms of Legitimacy
@@SRVaris you are not understanding my concern, her son will be valariyon until he becomes king right? so his son in this period will also be valariyon and once he becomes the king then he will become targereon however his son will still be valariyon and if he has another son he will be named targereyon, Now the valariyon son and targereon son have a conflict at hand.
@@kartikaytiwari7387 "once he becomes the king then he will become targereon however his son will still be valariyon"
His son would likely take the Targaryen last name too here is the full plan as we understand it
Jacaerys: Takes the Name Targaryen gets the Iron Throne
Lucerys: Keeps the Velaryon name and gets Driftmark
I think Rhanera will allow The twins to either be her squires/cupbearer they’re still kids i don’t think she’d send em to the wall and Rhaenys would be labeled a kinslayer like aemond so I don’t think she’d stay in kings landing anymore she would probably stay in drift mark with corlys
Plus another Rebellion would happen because of Rhaenys killing the greens but because the blacks have the dragons to back it up they’d win all the wars but rhaneras reign would be full of rebellions
What if vhagar burns aemond. Or if aemond chose to let his brother leave and he becomes king.
What if viserys married laena instead?
Here's an interesting what if...
What if Viserys decided to crown Rhaenyra right after the trial for High Tide?
Or what if Aemma didn't die, but their son still did and she couldn't have more kids? Even if the Faith was willing to accept Viserys taking a second wife, would he have wanted to since he loved Aemma dearly? If Aemma was still there, Otto couldn't have easily pushed his daughter into position to be the Queen and we know that Alicent wouldn't have been able to seduce Viserys like she did.
*Seduce*, Maegor's Teats, some of you are delusional
What if rhaenyra baby brother survived the birth!?
Yes, i love these. What ifs there hoe I found the channel
Well. Unless Aegon/Aemond/Helaena are fireproof like Daenerys was, they all burn to death in moments. Idk if that was just a Daenerys specific thing though or very rare Targaryen thing. Very unlikely though
As for you saying the Targaryens think themselves gods, not entirely. They know everyone else sees them as next to gods because of their dragons, but Rhaenyra from a young age knew that they were just like anyone else without their dragons. And Viserys seemed to be of a like mind, Rhaenys probably seems sensible enough to understand that part, Daemon would be the only one that might see himself as anything more, but even then he said dragons made us kings, so they're all painfully aware of the power they have is only thanks to their dragons
aren't some Targaryans immune to fire
Amazing please make what if viserys made aegon his heir
When do you mean? Of course he did. The queen said so on his death bed.
@@colvamoon6962 i just suggest a what if
@@debamlyabanerjee4067 (facepalm) I was making a joke.
When does he do that would matter. If he does that while Rhaenys has an alliance with the Valeryons the war could still occur. If it's before that preferably immediately after he was born,Rhaenys could have cried all she liked but had to accept it in the end. She might have married Daemon or some powerful house and gone away.
Another peaceful reign. i think Aegon would probably be a middling to-bad king but otto would be the one making all the real decisions anyway
What if: Viserys allowed Daemon to wed rhaynera when he first asked in episode 4?
What if: rhaynera and Laenor were able to have children together?
What if: rhaynera had just wed Harwin strong instead of sleeping around with him later
Good questions - particularly I like the one of Daemon and Viserys...Would change it incredibly with the Velaryons and stuff potentially.
What if House Celtigar had dragons?
Depends on which time in the story I suppose, but mannn would've been helpful during the Dance that's for sure. The Targ Blacks would've been with a little extra oomf.
What if Aemond never killed Luce?
What if Viserys married Laena instead of Alicent?
The scene has a better sense in the book, cause there was also Sunfire
I still don't understand what the point of that scene was 😬
I think to some degree it was just a spectacle, but it also showed conflict in the characters and family during this time. Necessary? Probably not, but hey it didn't hurt anything IMO>
realistically, i don' t think she could have burned them all down, she doesn't know how it will play out and also there is moral reason to just burn them all while they are still relatively innocent.
I think that would have prevented the dance..
the Dance is inevitable
Im been asking everyone about this?
What have you been asking? The Rhaenys?
What if daemon died in Stepstones
the Dance would be severely delayed.
If Daemon's dead, Rhaenyra doesnt kiss him in the brothel, and go to fuck Criston. So Alicent and Criston remain staunchly pro Rhaenyra. Rhea royce is alive and probably pro Rhaenyra so thats helpful. assuming Rhaenyra still marries Laenor and cheats with Harwin, Alicent would become angry at her for having bastards but not quite as angry as she is in canon. they are able to rebuild their relationship alot quicker and she might have agreed to the Jace Helaena match.
What if Rhaenys became Queen.
Aren't dragon riders supposed to be immune to fire? Aegon and Aemond are likely eaten.
no, only Dany is.
Is it just me or is it ironic that early in season 1 rhenys said to rhenarya ( paraphrasing ) men would rather burn the iron throne that see a woman sit upon it. Then 7 episodes later she’s in that same situation about to burn the green family except aegon is a male instead of a female but still really ironic .
Marelor?
Maelor?
If you havent read fire and blood.... how dare you! Lol
Helena dying is the only One im sad about 😅
She really is an innocent little lady. Would've sucked to see her go.
The scene where Rhaenys bursts through the floor is pretty stupid!! Why didn't she just burn them all!! Ending the war! She could of stopped the war before it began! She says it's not her war to Star! "But it is her war! As she's the Kings Cousin and a Targaryen herself
It would've saved her alot to have just been brutal then and there
Absolutely. If she was more like Tywin Lannister, it would've been game over FAST.
it wouldnt save anything. it would just doom rhaenys as there is no man more accursed than the kinslayer and the people loved the Greens.
So, you could say Ser Criston is renamed, Ser CRISPon in this scenario... I'll see myself out.
Bahahah...Ser Crispy NO DOUBT
Then the show would be over
Báela would get vhagar tbh.
What if Rhaenyra married Aegon?
Aegon II?
You seem to not account for one of Westeros greatest cultural taboos. By killing members of her own family, Rhaenys would have committed kinslaying which in Westeros culture is a great sin against both the old gods and The Seven. If the faith uprising is any standard to go by, when faced with a choice between loyalty to the Targaryens and loyalty to the gods, the people will choose their gods and revolt against Targaryen rule...the fact that the royals have dragons didn't matter, the first time the nation rebelled and it would be the same here. It wouldn't be a Targaryen civil war but it definitely be them vs everybody else.
What if Lancel found the breastplate stretcher
